Immediately it became glaring that someone was stealing letters, owing to Friday’s incident, I had a chat with some of the housemates, set up a whatsapp group and added almost everyone, including the suspected thief. By Saturday, the suspect moved out of the house informing the caretaker that he had emergency back home and exited the whatsapp group. I have this feeling that the caretaker is aware of what is going on because both of them are Pakistani.

I just realized my NI should have come in last week or 2weeks ago based on information from friends, who received theirs this week because I submitted 1week before they got their forms. Now my DBS Certificate and NI are nowhere to be found. If you live in the same house with a Pakistani, please be careful. Those guys are dangerous

I called the Police yesterday about this issue and was told that we should procure a CCTV camera for the mail area. The remaining housemates are now very vigilant.

I just hope I can sort myself out of this situation...

No one will steal your mails or letters. I think you or your housemates must have put in the wrong postcode or addresses.
To always confirm if your address is correct with Royal Mail. Always check this Royal Mail link.

You can actually zoom into any address just as google maps works. Apparently this is what Royal Mail uses.

Before I posted I was certain someone was stealing letters in my house. I don’t want to bore us with details but it’s what it is.

Please how do I follow up with or track my NI? I am trying to call them, it’s over 50mins now, with no response from their end. It seems I am just waiting in futility.

It seems a thief has been stealing people’s letters in my house. Some of the housemates have complained of not receiving their letters.

I was supposed to have received my DBS & NI by now, but alas, there are no where to be found. I have requested for a DBS reprint and need to follow up with the NI as a classmate I submitted my application 1week before her forms came just informed me that she received her NI this morning.

Each luggage should be 23kg.

It shouldn't be a big deal because plans change. I've not know it to affect dependant applications as long as the dependants are mentioned on the main applicant's application.

What I did was to transfer the amount $484 (#187,156) to a classmate who eventually paid for me. Please did the IHS fee go up to $1042.50 today because of Forex fluctuation? Is there anyone who paid today that noticed same?

Again I tried paying the IHS with paga verve, I got the error message that they are experiencing technical problems, I tried using MasterCard with GTB card it failed. Please is there any other alternative?

For everyone asking how to pay via Paga/Verve with your MasterCard, register on Paga. To be on the safe side, upgrade your account to level 3.

How is the upgrade to level 3 done? I have been able to add my Stanbic IBTC Account, when I try adding my Zenith Account it prompts me that the sum of #100 will be deducted and credited to my PAGA account when I click on continue, it doesn’t go through, is there a way out of this?

You will need to send Affidavit on correction of name, affidavit to prove that the WAEC result belongs to you, and age declaration.

Please I need a word of advice on how to go about this. I already applied and got several offers with my WAEC result but name & date of birth on the WAEC result is not exactly same with what I have on my International Passport.

My WAEC result bears my Surname Middle name and just the first Initial of my Firstname, while the date of birth is 26th August, meanwhile my International Passport carry just my Surname and Firstname in full with 28th July which is my correct date of birth, but the year of birth in both document is the same.

I just received a mail from the Senior Conversion Officer of my school notifying me that they just observed that the WAEC result they have in my record is not mine (because of the discrepancies) that I should send my WAEC result to enable them proceed with my application.

Will an affidavit suffice in this kind of scenario? Please kindly share your thoughts/advice

They do respond but it usually takes time. For instance, I got response from Lagos Centre after over 24hrs that I mailed them. I have completed the booking process and got July 22nd as my appointment date.

An applicant can send a mail while also trying out the call option.

This is a welcome development. My heart is gladdened by this news.

I can’t wait for international flights to also resume. Covid 19 has done enough damage already, but God has got us all.
