Greetings everyone and thanks for the wonderful contributions so far. I need clarification regarding proof of funds for a dependant. I saw online that it is £6,120 (if the Visa will be granted for 9months or more) per dependant but was surprised when a friend in UK told me today that it is £16,320 (2years living cost). I have attached the source of my info herewith. I would appreciate all vital information concerning this, many thanks.

dennison4luv:I know at least 2 Courier service presently working in Benin City despite the lockdown. Check out UPS and Fedex both on Airport road, all the best. |
Skymoore1004:Thank you for the timely feedback. |
Skymoore1004:What if it was a couple, would a £300 Room be convenient for them? Meanwhile, payment for rent is it monthly or yearly that is accepted? Thanks in anticipation of your feedback |
omopapa:Thank you so much @omopapa. I found it very useful |
omopapa:Kindly suggest some Schools that offer Applied Biomedical Science with 1year placement. I have been on google searching with no luck, the one I saw on searching is Nottingham Trent University (MSc Biomedical Science with 1 year work placement). Thanks in advance. @omopapa |
omopapa:Thanks for your swift response. September is like 5months away, I can start reading ahead. This lockdown period could be very beneficial in that regard as I am always indoors. When you say it would cost me a bit do you mean Financially, as in cost of the Masters program or there are other things that would require Finance? I have checked an MRES in Biomedical Laboratory Science and it cost about 14,000pounds and I am sure the school will give discount. My major concern is that I don’t have experience in this line, do you think this could be a limitation? Kindly share your thoughts and experience, thank you. |
omopapa:Greetings bro @Omopapa, thanks for all the info shared so far. Please I need your advice Would you recommend an MRES in Biomedical Laboratory Science or an MBA? I have a BSc in Biochemistry and a PGD Business Administration with 10years Retail Sales Experience. The goal is to be able to secure a job in the UK after graduation, I await your response. Many thanks |

mikeerrr:Lol @ Methuselah. Thanks for the heads up I still need a word of advice. Here is my profile; BSc Biochemistry, PGD Business Administration, Cisco Certified Network Associate. Work Experience: 10yrs (8years Coordinating Sales for a marketing agency to a Telco company, managing a team of 13peeps, 1year plus as Manager of a night Club, 3 months as Business Consultant for a Marketing agency). Study plans: Thinking of settling for an MSc in Big Data Analytics or Data Science. Was considering an MBA before now, but from perusing this thread I have realized Health Science or IT is the real deal. My challenge is I don’t have experience in IT despite my Certification. Advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks |
Good day everyone. Thanks for the great contributions. Please I would like to be informed about courses with work placement in the 2nd year of study. Is it the duty/responsibility of the school to get the placement for the students or the students would search for and get the placement themselves. I would like to get first hand information because from what I read from some schools website, they only offer assistance in this regard. |
Talkwisdom:Can you assist someone with a BSc and PGD and a CCNA Certification? Your response would be appreciated, many thanks. |

Expecting admission from INN, Elverum, was banking on Germany before but the AD delay is making me look elsewhere. Do you mind if I send you a PM so we can relate better? |

Tom77:Bruv, You have got to go online and do your findings. Check Daad and also use google to check out different schools and their various programs. As regards the English test, it also depends on the school. Some schools accept EPL. Sit down and do some Research, you should be able to get all the information you need online. Compliments Odedenshi1 |
Ge0grapher:Bro try do small reading of previous pages if you really wan embark on this journey. Hello all, Compliments of the season. From perusing previous pages of this thread, I realized that AD has been mostly discussed, because of the recent development. Suffice it to say that my checks on schengenvisainfo.com reveal that the EU is updating the Visa Code, with a bid of strengthening the common Visa Policy, while taking the issues of Migration and Security concerns into consideration. This could be the reason for the adjustments made by the German Consulate, they are being proactive because implementation begins February 2nd, 2020. The main changes foreseen by the updated changes are as follows; - Higher Visa fees. - Extended application submission periods. - Electronic application submission forms in most countries and so on. You can find more info in schengenvisainfo.com. I don’t think there is cause for alarm or panic. Let the AL, AD and Visum hustle continue. May the good Lord reward our hustle with SUCCESS in Jesus name. IT WILL SURELY END IN PRAISE!!! Odedenshi1 |
