.[/quote]Thanks for your response. Thankfully we do not lay hands on our children and I never allowed anyone touch them while they were still in Nigeria. The only marks they might have on their body may be one from the measles they had as kids aside that nothing else.

On the home work aspect, we had registered them for Kumon, my first son was usually reluctant in doing his when I am not at home but when I am around he sits up because I will sit with him to ensure the work is done.

We innocently signed that agreement as it was stated not to be legally binding. We didn’t feel it would have any implication, I sincerely do not think our parenting style calls for concern. The only thing I can remember doing when my son misbehaves is to ground him by taking away his tablet and toys or having a word with him, nothing that can harm him physically or mentally.

To the issue of feeling hungry. My children make their choice of breakfast as there is usually several options available: Indomie noodles & eggs, Sandwich (Bread & Egg) with tea, Cereal (front loops), Cornflakes, Golden morn, Quaker Oats e.t.c but it is not uncommon for them to feel hungry while in school because they eat almost hourly while at home. Surprisingly, the very day we reintroduced packed lunch for all three of them I got a call from the Family Support Worker that my 4year old son had stated that he was hungry in school then I asked him why can’t the school give him fruit or snack from his packed lunch his response was I need to inform the school.

They have previously offered us food vouchers which I declined because we have enough food. We are not hungry they have visited the house I showed them varieties of food and fruits as well. Opened the fridge and freezer for them to see that the house is always fully stocked. I am fed up with these people honestly…

I have spoken to them about the implications of what they say in school. I keep praying for them too for God to guide them in their utterances. It is mostly my second son that talks too much, he can easily be tricked into making up what never transpired.

They mostly watch cartoons and music videos. My second son likes gaming on the phone and has been requesting for an iPad as his eight birthday gift which I am currently working on.

Please this is a long read. Pardon me please, I am anxious and scared. Please I need your advice because “I nor know where these people dey carry me go”.

I brought my children into the UK last year and we have been living together as a family since then including my wife. On the last day of their first term in school, my daughter who has learning needs was reluctant to leave school because on that day, the school was having an end of term party but surprisingly, no ticket was sent to us to purchase for her save for our other two children. Her favourite activity is dancing, so she was upset and crying when I went to pick her knowing that she will not be a part of the party. When asked what the problem was she stated that Aunty beat her, the school safeguarding lead called me and we had a meeting where I shared the possible reason why my daughter is upset with her, also informing her that no Aunty lives with us that she was upset because she had realised she will not be a part of the party. However, the school raised a safeguarding concern on the issue.

Fast forward to the last day of last term. My son (second child) who was 7years old as at the time, was on the queue going for lunch when a teacher went to call him under the pretence of going to show him something in the office. On getting to the said office, the school safeguarding lead was there, they started questioning the boy, shockingly he told them that we had a naughty room at home that it was the shed in the garden and alleged that he normally gets locked there when he is naughty (he later said he made it up). A second safeguarding concern was raised with the Police & Social services informed. When my wife went to pick the children, she was informed that she could not pick them because they were carrying out their investigation. The Police & Social worker came to our house checked round and stated that there was no evidence and dismissed the case with the Social Worker recommending and documenting that we shouldn’t be forceful in making the children do their home work in a way that will harm them, we agreed, signed the document and they left.

The following week the Social Worker called that she was coming to the house, we asked her to come. On getting to the house she stated that the school is pressurising her to do her assessment and recommend a family support worker for us but that we have a choice of declining and if we do, should anything happen in future, they will say they offered to help us but we refused so we had no choice than to accept. About a week later the Family Support Worker called, introduced himself and stated that he would like to pay us a visit which he did. He also did his assessment which he shared with me but surprisingly I noticed that in the first allegation raised they had also added that my daughter said Aunty beat her and dad hit her which was totally different from what the school safeguarding lead had shared with me.

Now I am seriously concerned because the school keeps coming up with different issues and asking for further referrals to be done. They alleged that my son stated twice last year he was hungry even though they have breakfast before leaving the house and we pay for school dinner for them. We have now introduced packed lunch for all three of them despite the fact that the last child is 4years old and supposed to be having free lunch in school.

Please kindly help a worried soul. I need advice on how to take up this issue to prevent the unthinkable from happening. Thanks for your patience

Working for a CQC registered care home should make one eligible, I think. What is on the home office page is if you work for the NHS or CQC. You can read annexe A which is available on the home office website to check eligibility.

Nice submission. However, you need to edit the part where you have stated that the TB certificate is valid for 2years. It is actually valid for 6months from the date of the X-ray. Cheers

Well, my position is based on my experience with this set of people both at home and at the work place.

Just last week over 10 of them were dismissed at my place of work based on similar tendencies of fraud, trying to game the system.

I have an official mail to that effect. I do not mean to offend anyone by my comments, but just to stress the point of being vigilant with them.
