BABANGIDA and his entourage should be bann before we suffer another dictatorship in Nigeria |
OK, I don't condole corruption at any level, but if in deed OBJ makes 4 million a day which in this case is not possible, he had Otta farm way before he became presido, not that he got the farm with a legitimate loan, or any thing, but IBB has been accused of the master mind of corruption in Nigeria, how many companies does he have in Nigeria, how is he impacting Nigeria beside his evil legacies that still befall us today, lets not forget, IBB said graduate should be driving luxurious buses under his regime while our country money is been starch away in swiss account, One nation. |
BINGO jackal you got it , look at the name you mentions " Jerry Ganas, Usenis, Abdul-salams, Akhigbes, Arthur Nzeribe, Adedibus, Sarakis " This are all IBB mens and not OBJ men, and yes IBB want to rule Nigeria? This man rule Nigeria for 8 years and never mention corruption or fight against corruption, and now that we have someone like OBJ and Ribadu tackling the issue, people want their head on a tray. chi Nigeria go survive. Jackal, corruption is like internet security, you can never and will never have 100% security or scalability, you can prevent people from attacking your network to minimal, same thing arise in this case, we are trying to prevent criminal and not eradicate corruption,. that will take 100 years, and which past president has ever had 60% electricity stability in Nigeria? |
Remember one Hausa man name UMARU DIKKO stole $1 billion naira from the treasury and he said Nigerians are not suffering until people start eating from dust bin. and this are the same Hausa people trying to rule us and they all have the same mentality born to rule, TUFIA. |
What do you guys have against RIbadu self, why do some people hate this man, and he is doing a wonderful job? are you guys affected by his actions finacially one way or the other? |
Even if he is using Ribadu, he is reducing corruption in Nigeria that is the issue, selective or not selective, you cant solve all the problem in the world, we have to start from one place and send the message to other politicians. |
OBJ BASHERS, this one is for you, please check your facts before you call Muyiwa http://www.odili.net/news/source/2005/sep/11/34.html THE family of the First Lady, Chief Stella Obasanjo, at the weekend rose in defence of Olumuyiwa Obasanjo, who was reported to have bought a house worth N78 million in Brooklyn, New York. advertisement John Abebe, Stella's elder brother, said Olumuyiwa's transaction became public news as a way to get at President Olusegun Obasanjo. Abebe said the property in question is a block of flats which was acquired by the younger Obasanjo early this year at a sum of £250,000 through a loan obtained from a US bank, preparatory to his wedding. "This is a boy who has three degrees and works in a law firm, who is struggling just like any other child," Abebe said. "The money he used to buy the house has nothing to do with government money. It is a loan and the record is there for everybody to see." Abebe said Olumuyiwa was granted the loan based on his earning, which is about $220, 500 dollars per year. "This is what is obtained in the western world," he said. "Banks can grant you loan five times the amount you earn to enable you buy a house. Many people are doing it. We did it in our days, so I don't see anything strange with what Olumuyiwa has done. "This is a boy who has been living in United States for the past 13 years. He often comes to Nigeria. He is not involved in any business deal." Abebe faulted allegations that Olumuyiwa Obasanjo was one of those importing fuel into the country. "That is absolutely untrue," he said. "You can check your records at the NNPC or any agency of the Federal Government." He, however, said he was the one involved in oil business which he said dated back to years before Obasanjo came to power. Abebe stated that though another son of the President, Olugbenga Obasanjo, recently said the house was owned by Olumuyiwa, there was no crack in the first family of Nigeria. Olugbenga was initially fingered as the owner of the house. "I know nothing about the house. It is not my house. I am not the Olu mentioned in the story. I am Olugbenga and the person mentioned is Olumuyiwa, Stella's son," Olugbenga Obasanjo said. |
Greed and determination to get to the seat at all level. greed supperces family values in Nigeria now i see. and that is why people like IBB and BUHARI, and SHAGARI still want to RUle. |

Interesting, I will rather see Buhari than IBB |
I hate senseless killing, and that is what is happening in Nigeria now, if only this Hausa general manage the funds good, we will be in good shape now |
The Hausa man show us how to embezzle, not we doing it big and the Hausa's can't wait to get to Aso Rock. |
ferdimako if you must know before you open your mouth down there in Jos and start insulting people, My family was was born and raised in Jos B Bukuru to be exact, I am a Yoruba boy but we all speak Hausa fluently, i have more than 20 relatives currently in the Nigeria police and my father has been in service for over 35 years. I'm not gonna succumb to your standard in exchanging words, but the issue in Nigeria now is attributed to all illiterate Northern generals that has no background on how to lead a diverse nation nor manage the economy, all they did was embezzle and squander Nigerian wealth. Look at the party front runners, you have all this people still striving to be president, Imagine people like IBB saying he will repair Nigeria? was he asleep the last 8 years he ruled? what did Buhari do for Nigeria or Shagari, and the list goes on and on, so go back to Jos and drink some palm wine. |
Maybe she is a legitimate business woman like ATIKU, lol |
Who want to see some stinking cleavages? this is security issue not women. |
Babangida will never rule Nigeria again,m he can try as hard and people are deceiving and pushing him to failure. |
What the heck is OGUN and Shango? those are myth, all that nonsense don't exist in this civilized world, where are this so called gods when Funsho Williams was murdered, or when Dele Giwa was killed? |
People lets not forget Nigeria is a third world country, you cant solve this kind of grewsome attack with No centralized database, you cant fingerprint culprits and suspect that you can match to a centralized database , we have files in Nigeria police stations and not computers. so go figure why we are behind, I still think the northerners should be held accountable for all the problems we having in Nigeria now, Yoruba people are resulting to killing each other while all the Hausa ma-lam are laughing at us with pleasure. Trust me next time i come to Nigeria I'm packing my shit with me. |
Is this an act of invasion of privacy or a good thing for Nigeria ? what do you guys think? http://www.punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art20060814231146 The police have mounted surveillance cameras known as the Police Closed Circuit Television at strategic locations in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The cameras were mounted on top of high rising buildings within the metropolis. The cameras have already been spotted near the International Conference Centre located at the Central Business District and the Transcrop Hilton Hotel. All vehicles driving into Abuja from the Airport Road and those driving out of the city are now being monitored through the cameras. Telemobile is the company handling the project. The Force Public Relations Officer, Mr. Haz Iwendi, who confirmed the installation of the cameras, said that there was nothing sacrosanct about them. He said, ”Surveillance cameras are used in all cities of the world to monitor crimes. Even in Britain, they have it. It is a close circuit to monitor crime.” He said that the cameras were not targeted at anyone but to monitor crimes. Investigations by our correspondent showed that the monitors were at the Force Headquarters, Louis Edet House, where the top hierarchy of the police force work. Last week the Minister of Police Affairs, Mr. Broderick Bozimo, inspected the monitors at the Force Headquarters. During the inspection, Bozimo said that the cameras were also being installed at strategic locations in Lagos. He said that when all the cameras had been installed, President Olusegun Obasanjo would inaugurate them. Bozimo said that Abuja and Lagos were being used as pilot schemes after which the cameras would be installed in all cities. According to him, the facility would boost police efficiency and effectiveness in combating crimes. He urged the force to train its officers who would man the facility and to make sure that adequate maintenance was given to it. |
Thank you LoverBwoy , Typical Nigeria think you accused someone of stealing and we stone them to death, abut in the legal system, it doesn't work that way, and how can you investigate people for corruption when we lack the cooperation of the foreign countries and the swiss banks? |
Babangidas passport seized - Movement restricted, as EFCC continues investigation, Woman arrested By Yusuf Alli, Dotun Oladipo and Francis Falola Published: Monday, 14 Aug 2006 Despite his release on bail, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has seized the passport of Mr. Mohammed Babangida, the son of a former military President, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida. Skip to next paragraph File Gen. Ibrahim Babangida The commission also restricted the movement of the embattled former military presidents son. The junior Babangida was arrested on Friday by the operatives of the EFCC at a polo ground in Abuja. Although the commission has not issued any official statement, his arrest was linked to his alleged ownership of 24 per cent of the shares in Globacom Limited, Nigerias telecommunications second national operator. Globacom has already denied that Babangida owns any shares in the company. It was also alleged that the EFCC might look into Mohammeds investments in some banks and construction companies. The searchlight on Mohammed followed allegations that he had probably served as a front for his father who was the head of state from August 27, 1985 to August 26, 1993. A 1994 report by a panel headed by the late economist, Dr. Pius Okigbo, on the Central Bank of Nigeria, among other things, accused Babangidas regime of squandering an estimated $12.4bn earned from oil sales during the Gulf War I. Upon Mohammeds arrest, some associates of his father, led by a former National Security Adviser, Gen. Aliyu Gusau, prevailed upon the EFCC and put up bail for him. A source in the EFCC, however, said two conditions were attached to the bail. He said, We asked Mohammed to submit his passport to our commission and restricted his movement pending the conclusion of our investigations.” The source added that Mohammed would report routinely to the commission as may be necessary. As at press time, the details of the EFCCs interaction with Mohammed were unknown. But at about 5.20pm on Sunday, Mohammed returned to his parents Hilltop Mansion in Minna, Niger State. Clad in a blue kaftan, with a cap to match, Mohammed had closed doors meeting with his parents, other siblings and three retired military leaders. The retired leaders were a former Head of State, Gen. Abubakar Abdulsalami; Gen. Mohammed Wushishi; and Gen. Halilu Akilu. It was learnt that Gusau had earlier on Sunday met with Gen. Babangida. At the end of the private session, neither Babangida nor any of his children was willing to speak with the press. While the children escorted the three retired military leaders to their vehicles, Gen. Babangida, wearing a brown Babanrida, said he had no comment. A relation, however, said in confidence that it was wrong of the EFCC to be interrogating Mohammed on the activities of his father. The commission should be bold enough to invite his father. The arrest is part of a bogus attempt to implicate Gen. Babangida.” Another source at the mansion gave account of how Mohammed became a guest of the EFCC. He said, There was a telephone invitation from the EFCC. He did not inform his security detail when he was going to the commission. Mohammed thought that the EFCCs invitation would not last more than 30 minutes. But when he was detained, he contacted Akilu who later informed Gusau. With the intervention of Gusau and other friends of the family, Mohammed was released by the EFCC at about 12.05am on Sunday.” Meanwhile, the EFCC has arrested a lady simply identified as Nancy with $1.5million at the international wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos. The lady, said to be an in-law of one of the governors in the South-South, was arrested on Thursday while attempting to leave for the United Kingdom. It was gathered on Sunday that as soon as she was arrested, she was moved to the Lagos office of the EFCC. According to a source, she was, however, released following the intervention of the governor. But on being told of the arrest and release, the Chairman of the EFCC, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, reportedly ordered Nancys re-arrest and detention. As at Sunday night, the suspect was still being held by the EFCC. It was learnt that the EFCC would on Tuesday issued a statement on the issue. Efforts to reach the spokesman of the EFCC, Mr. Osita Nwajah, on the issue did not succeed, as calls to his cell phone did not go through before press time on Sunday. Sp because they don't have anything to offer, they should be butchered like cow ? this is someone father and regardless of politics, no one should be assassinated cowardly. real man talk and disagree but punks kill. Murderer kill I today you can not Kill I tomorrow. the Blood is on your shoulder " BUJU BANTON" |
So I guess we should just fire Ribadu and let corruption prevail since people can't open their eyes and see what a marvelous job this guy is doing. |
Imagine if Buhari win the election, will he bring IBB to justice for over throwing his regime? will he be vindictive and retaliate. IBB will be exposed sooner than we all anticipate. |
I read on one site that Muhammad is striving to be the governor of his state Niger next year, what education does this boy has, does anyone knows? and he hasn't had a job in his life, how can he rule and manage people? and I wont be surprise if indeed he is victorious. former ruler Abdulsalam was one of the people at IBB residence when the boy was released, where is Nigeria going self? |
OBJ is not the cause of poverty and corruption in Nigeria, yes back in the days he had his share and has tried to mend his ways. How many years did this useless Northerners rule Nigeria? over 30 years, so most of out problem should be directly link to their embezzlement and mismanagement of funds. |
Thinking about it, since they can't pin IBB with any money laundry, is it possible that this guy is so smart and he had other people do his dirty work, no money in his account, they all have the money in their account and are always out to defend him. we shall see. |
I don't blv this story there is no way you can carry that huge amount of money in one lugage. even if the highest denomination is $100. where is the source and picture of the arrest? |
I hate when people open their mouth and said shame on police and that police this police that, the federal government and all the past leaders and head of states should be held accountable for the crime in Nigeria, how can you have effective police when they are not equipped? they don't even have reliable cars or phone to chase criminals. but we have governors and presidents that are ridding in 12 to 20 fleet of cars in their entourage. TUFIA. this is the beginning of the show. has anyone ever been to the police station in the state compare to Nigeria, have guys seen the police car in the state and compare to what we have in Nigeria. so to make the caser simple, the government is responsible for all this deaths. |
and yet people are so quick to point fingers at the Federal government, whereas most of the problem and corruption in Nigeria is at the root. this governors are so powerful and that is why they are struggling to get to ASO rock so they can have and steal more, greed is evil I tell you. |
