Jokes Etc › Little Johnny At Age 25 by Odeku(op): 7:53pm On May 23, 2006
Little Johnny at age 25

Johnny wanted to screw a girl in his office, but she belonged to someone else,

One day Johnny got so frustrated that he went up to her and said I'll give you a $1000 dollars if you let me screw you, but the girl said NO.

Johnny said I'll be fast, I'll throw the money on the floor, you bend down, I'll be finished by the time you pick it up. She thought for a
moment and said that she would have to consult her boyfriend, so she called her boyfriend and told him the story. Her boyfriend says ask him
for $2000 dollars, pick up the money very fast, he won't even be able to get his pants down.

So she agrees and accepts the proposal. Half an hour goes by and the boyfriend is waiting for his girlfriend to call. Finally after 45 mins
the boyfriend calls and asks what happened,

She said "The bastard used coins"

Management lesson: Always consider a business proposal in it's entirety before agreeing to it and getting screwed.
Jokes Etc › Pain Transfer by Odeku(op): 3:14pm On May 23, 2006
Pain Transfer
>
>A married couple went to the hospital to have their baby delivered.
>Upon their arrival, the doctor said he had invented a new machine that
>would transfer a portion of the mother's labor pain to the baby's
>father. He asked if they were willing to try it out. They were both
>very much in favor of it. The doctor set the pain transfer to 10% for
>starters, explaining that even 10% was probably more pain than the
>father had ever experienced before.
>
>However, as the labor progressed, the husband felt fine and asked the
>doctor to go ahead and kick it up a notch. The doctor then adjusted the
>machine to 20% pain transfer. The husband was still feeling fine. The
>doctor checked the husband's blood pressure and was amazed at how well
>he was doing.
>
>At this point, they decided to try for 50%. The husband continued to
>feel quite well. Since the pain transfer was obviously helping out the
>wife considerably, the husband encouraged the doctor to transfer ALL the
>pain to him. The wife delivered a healthy baby with virtually no pain.
>She and her husband were ecstatic.
>
>When they got home, the mailman was dead on the porch.

Jokes Etc › Is It True ? by Odeku(op): 8:26pm On May 22, 2006
Lady went into a bar in Waco and saw a cowboy with his feet propped up on a table.
He had the biggest boots she'd ever seen.

The woman asked the cowboy if it's true what they say about men with big feet are well endowed.

The cowboy grinned and said, "Shore is, little lady.
Why don't you come on out to the bunkhouse and let me prove it to you?"

The woman wanted to find out for herself, so she spent the night with him.

The next morning she handed him a $100 bill.

Blushing, he said, "Well, thanks, ma'am. Ah'm real flattered. Ain't nobody ever paid me fer mah services before."

"Don't be flattered, take the money and buy yourself some boots that fit.

I Like OBJ and truthfully he did allot for Nigeria, but he was part of the problem in the beginning when he was head of state, he stole and came back and make amends, and now its time for him to just step aside and let somebody else lead Nigeria. I do not support the 3rd term agenda, its crazy and bureaucratic.

Nigeria among world’s failed countries - Ranks 22nd out of 60
03.05.2006

NIGERIA has been named as one of the failed states in the world. Indeed, the country was placed 22nd on the failed states’ ladder, ranking with such countries as Uganda, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Somalia, Liberia, among others.

In fact, a country that has just survived a war, Rwanda, fared better than Nigeria on the ranking as it was placed above Nigeria in the failed states’ list.

About 60 countries of the world made the list just released by a United States-based agency, Fund for Peace, in conjunction with Foreign Policy magazine.

Among the factors used to rate Nigeria on this list were the various regional, ethnic and religious crises that had bedevilled the country recently. Prominent among them were the crises in Niger Delta which continue to affect the oil price situation in the world.

Despite large-scale U.S. support, Iraq and Afghanistan also rank among the world’s 10 most vulnerable states. In its second annual “failed states” index, Foreign Policy magazine and the Fund for Peace concluded that Sudan was the country under the most severe stress because of violent internal conflict.

Eleven of the 20 most vulnerable countries of the 148 examined in the survey are in Africa. The Democratic Republic of Congo and Ivory Coast, both chronically volatile in recent years, ranked second and third.

Each country was given a score based on data from numerous available sources. A “failing state” was described as one in which the government does not have effective control of its territory, is not perceived as legitimate by a significant portion of its population, does not provide domestic security or basic public services to its citizens and lacks a monopoly on the use of force.

Sudan received low grades in virtually all areas surveyed, including protection of human rights, “group grievances” against the government and numbers of refugees and displaced persons. The western Sudanese region of Darfur has generated well over two million displaced since 2003.

According to the review, the situation in Iraq (No. 4) and Afghanistan (No. 10) deteriorated since 2005, the first year the survey was taken.

“For Iraq, the index category that worsened most was human flight,” the report said. “The exodus of Iraq’s professional class has accelerated, leaving the country without the trained citizens it needs to staff.

Politics › You Must Quit Ibb Tells Obasanjo by Odeku(op): 1:43pm On May 03, 2006
How ironic. and this is the same IBB that refused to leave when he was in office, and nullified the election twice. This same Ibb destroyed Nigeria and now he is talking of having Nigerians interest in mind.

Former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida on Tuesday asked President Olusegun Obasanjo to vacate the presidency in 2007.

Speaking on a British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Hausa Service, Gen. Babangida said Obasanjo would be respecting the wishes of Nigerians if he vacates office, in accordance with the constitution.

The former military president kicked against third term for President Obasanjo, saying such privilege would spell doom for the nation.

According to him, his present stance on the issue had been adopted by the people of Niger State before the recommendations of the Senator Ibrahim Mantu National Assembly Joint Committee on Review of the 1999 Constitution, which met in Port Harcourt.

Said he: "My stand on the issue is as enunciated by my people in Niger State. Whatever their position is, definitely is my stand on the matter of third term. We in Niger State met and deliberated extensively on the matter. We the elders looked into the matter critically, even before people went to Port Harcourt. I am with the people of Niger State, with the governor of Niger State on this matter.

“What the governor of Niger State said is the view of the entire people of Niger State. Therefore, I support what he said. The people of Niger State told the governor point blank their position on the matter. I am an indigene of Niger State, hence I am with them on this matter,” he said. It will be recalled that Gov Abdulkadir Kure of Niger State is one of the greatest antagonists of the third term agenda, and he had walked out of the meeting in which the PDP leadership endorsed the gambit.

Babangida called on members of the National Assembly to abide by the wishes of the people who elected them and not to succumb to intimidation and fears since history and posterity will judge them.
“I’ll give them this piece of advice.

They should think that whatever they do in the coming days will definitely affect them in their lifetime. They should think that they have children. They should think of where they come from; they should think of the home they come from,” he said, adding: “Therefore, what I hope to see is that everyone of them should come out plainly and state his position, what his people want. If that is done, then, we are on the right path of truth, but if something is done secretly or with fear, this will not help us.”

On whether he has any regrets for the role he played in bringing the present government to power, Babangida said he has no regret supporting the presidency of Obasanjo in 1999, when he and other northern elite compelled the latter to vie for the highest office in the country. He said his action was done out of patriotism and love for the nation.
