This kind of behaviors should not be allowed in any society, but at the same time, where are the boys parents when all this was happening.  A responsible father and mother will at least know where 11 years old is at all time.  the blame should be on the parents, and I hope they can fish out the culprits who did this. My his soul rest in peace.  Time are changing, this kind of things are unheard of when I was growing up.

This is a mission statement on IBB website " TRIBUTE TO A FORMIDABLE STATESMAN, A TRUSTWORTHY AND AMIABLE UPRIGHT GENTLEMAN, A LEADER, VISIONARY, PRINCIPLED, A MAN FOR ALL REASONS "  ARE THEY FOR REAL. or are we all dreamming, How quick do we forget the terror regime and dictatorial style regime Babangida inflicted on us, I was Only 18 When IBB was ruling Nigeria, I remember the streets are closed for HOURS when IBB is going any where, you can't look at the street cars, you must turn your back to his car and entourage or face the ruthless beating from Military mens.  How can you BABANGIDA be trust worthy when you can even spell the word. we know how you and Sunny Idogu stole from Nigeria, hello.

My brother na oyinbo man talk be that, how can you run a report on a country that you don't know nothing about. I still believe say na we be the 1st for the world, even pastor dey collect bribe for church and mosque. its in our blood and nature, we like to be flamboyant, and flashy. A Nigerian will walk in to a bank with the intention of committing a crime, and will walk in bold and take care of his business.
Politics › Re: Bayelsa State Governor, Alamieyeseigha, Arrested In London! by Odeku(m): 2:39pm On Oct 18, 2005
That's not true. so many people have said the president is clean, we have to start from some where, you can not build a forest in a day.  catch one thief and deal with him ruthlessly. the other thieves will be scared.  so at least commend Mr president for tackling this issue.  this is a start for Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Nigerians Are the Most Corrupt People In the World? by Odeku(op): 2:33pm On Oct 18, 2005
I don't believe they are trying to re colonize us. Nigeria today is civilized and up to date in the society, Nigeria in not a third world country any more, we earn the respect of other nations, we are a developing nation. the problem or corruption in Nigeria has been going on for agree undetected, influential people like FELA and Awolowo warn us couple years ago of the problem we are facing today. you are right the western world will come to Nigeria cause we have the oil, look at Iraq today, innocent people are getting killed daily all because of greed. Saddam is a bad man, but the killing Bush and his so called allies have done superseed Sadams atrocities

We as a nation need to stand against this kind of act. people always think Britain is a save heaven to looters of the country money. my point is if we crucify this easter man, we need to take the same action to probe the IBB, the Umaru DIko not that i am bias on the issue. No Hausa man has ever been humiliated, or prosecuted on stealing in Nigeria. hello.

Politics › Who Killed Dele Giwa? Was IBB Involved? by Odeku(op): 9:47pm On Oct 17, 2005
There were speculations that Dele Giwa was about to publish the greatest story of his life to exposed Mariam Babangida's involvement in shady deals. Next thing we know he was killed by a parcel bomb.

Who killed this innocent son of Nigeria? The interim government of Babangida then never investigate the death of this man, nor said anything about it.

I strongly disagree that this is a shame, the guy is greedy and selfish, let the thief hang himself. This bastard is a disgrace to mankind and to his family. why cant people learn from other peoples misfurtune. IF you steal hard earn money that does not belong to you, you will pay with your health and life. it might be long before the law catch up with you. but you will pay. So for all I care leave the bastard to routine in jail in obodo oyinbo. Nigeria need a iron hand, start dealing with this people mercilessly and I bet people will start thinking twice before the embezzle.
Politics › Re: Nigerians Are the Most Corrupt People In the World? by Odeku(op): 7:34pm On Oct 17, 2005
But you don't see politicians, and government officials embezzling public funds and tax payers money as rampant in Nigeria without consequence or repercussion for their actions. Nigerian youth are jail all over the world for conspiracy drug dealling and 419. Only in Nigeria you can find UNKNOWN SOLDIER using Granada on law enforcement station. Why are the top guns trying to protect the illicit act?

TRUTH OR FICTION?

AS smart and intelligent as Nigerians are all over the globe. People classified all Nigerians as criminals regardless of your status. Is this because of the corrupt politicians, and government officials, or can someone please explain this slogan that we hear and read about daily to me please.
