grin
The madam Nunieh claimed, u were not there and no one else concurred
But we know Natasha falsely accused Reno Omokri of sexually harassing her. Reno proved she was lying with evidence and she quickly withdrew her allegation. That means she has a habit of making false accusations and that makes her not credible. To lay a false claim of sexual harassment against a man means such a woman is wicked and can commit murder.

OP, how much Akpabio pay you to write this piss? This is the archetype story of most politicians in Nigeria, a pot cannot be calling the kettle black. Let's face the matter on ground, did Akpabio sexually harass her or not? Trying to dig up her past which is a child's play compared to most of your politicians' is such a low blow. He who has no sin should cast the first stone.
How do u know Akpabio sexually harassed her? Where u there or has she shown u d evidence? She made a claim, Akpabio denied, so?
RomanceRe: Was I Wrong To Abandon My Pregnant Girlfriend? by Odibembem: 6:04am On Feb 11, 2025
Lakebib:
Good morning romancelanders, I would love you guys to help me judge a complicated situation. My girlfriend visited me early this year, we had unprotected sex but before she left I personally bought contraceptives for her to take whenever she gets home. She travelled back to abj where she's serving and we kept communicating.

Fast forward to three weeks later, she complained to me that she missed her period, she opened up that she forgot to take the pills as at when due which led to the pregnancy. I was mad at her but the deed was already done. I told her that it was her mistake and she would have to fix it because I obviously don't a child now, she also agreed to terminate the pregnancy.

An incident occured while we were making arrangements for the abortion that led to a serious issue. We had a minor misunderstanding and didn't speak for a day, she called the second day around past eleven at night sounding a bit tensed, before I could ask her what the issue was, I heard a guy's voice asking her who she was talking to, she ended the call immediately. I called her back twice without response. When she picked up later she denied that she wasn't with a guy bla bla, I simply told her to stay away from me till she's ready to tell me the truth.

She sent me a message after 4 days about missing me and all, I asked her if she was ready to come clean about what happened that night, she still denied everything even contradicting herself in some parts. I insisted that she was lying while maintaining my stand that she must come clean before we settle any issue. She then asked me about the pregnancy because it was beginning to get obvious, I informed her that I'm not sure that the pregnancy is mine because she's obviously seeing other guys so she should do with it whatever she deems fit. She proceeded to insult me calling me stupid and all. I asked her if she thought insults could solve anything, madam told me that I should know that she can easily sleep with any guy she fancies and pin the pregnancy on him so I shouldn't think that leaving her would make her stranded. I wished her goodluck and she went into another barrage of insults, I just blocked her everywhere and deleted all her contacts.

My friend asked me about her last night and I told him what happened and he said I shouldn't have blocked her, he insisted that I should have taken care of the pregnancy first before cutting ties with her. I would love to get other opinions on the matter.

I'm sorry for the long post, please ignore any typos, I typed on the go and yes all insults are welcome.
No woman "forgets" to take a contraceptive after unprotected sex. I repeat, no woman "forgets" to take a contraceptive that has been paid for after unprotected sex.

PoliticsRe: PETER OBI's Only Offence Was Contesting For The Presidency by Odibembem:
Upgrade88:
I'm deeply saddened and disheartened by the amount of hatred and attacks by some persons against the personality of His Excellency, Sir PETER GREGORY OBI. I have overtime asked myself why all these? What is his offence that warrants all these hatreds and resentments?
While I agree that everyone cannot like and support you, I'm dismayed that there's such amount of hatred for PETER OBI. Why is same hatred not extended to Atiku or other contestants? Well, the reason isn't farfetched. It is simply because he decided to throw his hat in the ring, because he decided to exercise his right of franchise as a Bonafide Nigerian by contesting for the highest position in the land.
If we are being honest, objective, sincere, logical and rational, we should know that Igbos deserve the Presidency more than any other tribe. Since the inception of democracy till date, An Igbo man has never ruled or govern this country, not even as a vice-president despite being among the three largest ethnic group in Nigeria. Why the marginalisation?. Nigeria doesn't belong to any person or group. Nigeria belongs to all of us.
His Excellency, Sir PETER GREGORY OBI isn't a perfect man, neither is a Saint. He has his own flaws and shortcomings just like every other human being but I must be honest with you, of all the contestants, PETER OBI remains the Best fit for this Job. He is least corrupt and the Lesser devil(if I May put it that way). The personal attacks and disrespect is really pointless and unwarranted.
If OBI had won, trust me, we wouldn't have being in the mess we are in right now because he would have done better. He would put in place logistics and modalities to first cushion the negative impact of subsidy removal on the citizens even before removing it. Aside the security of lives and properties being the first and primary responsibility of the president, the welfare and well-being of Nigerians remain paramount and sacrosanct. And any Economic policy that does not put the welfare of people into consideration is anti-people. Why would a president come up with policies that are inimical and detrimental to the people he governs?.
Despite the removal of fuel subsidy, your president keeps taking loans, so what's now the essence of the subsidy removal in the first place?. They asked us to be patient so we can reap the benefits of their Economic reforms when there is no ray of hope or light at the end of the tunnel. Peter OBI remains the most passionate, sympathetic and empathetic leader we can ever have. Take it or leave it.
I noticed we are not ready for the change we are clamoring to have. We hail and praise our oppressors to high heavens. It's sad.
Mind you, I'm not an Igbo person before you would say I'm being tribalistic.. But whether the Devils like it or not, OBI will rule this country one day, whether now or later. Let's keep Hope alive. To all lovers of His Excellency Sir PETER OBI, Let's remain steadfast and not be dettered or fazed. God bless us all.

In God we trust.

I'm ONAH, O.O
Lagos, Nigeria.
First, d Igbos don't deserve d presidency more than any of the other 200 ethnic groups in Nigeria. Nigeria is not made up of only d 3 major ethnic groups and d minorities are not inferior to anyone. We all have equal stake.
Secondly, Obi is not d best candidate. His record as Anambra gov does not recommend him to many of us. U and ur type may see him as ur best but not us, when he was governor, u guys never celebrated him as d best. I worked in d South East between 2003 and 2010 and I can tell u d best celebrated govs during that era where Chris Ngige and Sullivan Chime of Enugu. Obi became a celebrity out of necessity in 2022 and attributes he never had were attributed to him.
Obi has shown a pack of understanding of d issues facing d nation. His incoherence and lack of understanding of d mgt of naira in relation to exchange rate as evidenced in his embarrassing interviews on Arise tv plus his volte face on fuel subsidy removal which after he said he will remove on day one suddenly denied shows how inconsistent he is
Nigeria is not an easy nation to govern and it's more about d politics even than d policies. Tinubu's tax reform bill which is a bold attempt to eshrine fiscal federalism has met with so much resistance from within even d president's own party, from d north. How should Obi had pushed any restructuring without d support of Senate President and Speaker than Tinubu has and yet struggling to pass?
Obi has not built d political bridges across Nigeria to enable him to push any radical reform. His presidency would be complains and weeping on his part every day. We don not have such luxury. Obi is not d man, suck it in.
Obi supporters have unleashed d greatest hate in d history of our democracy. They cancelled anyone who dared not to support him, in 2022/2023 they insulted celebrities who dared to support Tinubu. Remember what they did to Super Eagles platers who initially came out for Tinubu, celebrities like Joke Silver were mocked with her husband's condition, Toyin Abraham and Eniola Badmus were insulted with d most vile words, anyone who came out for Tinubu was caricatured. So Obi may be reaping what he showed through his uncouth supporters. Even Reno Omokri who curse Obi these days took that posture cos Obidients threatened his daughter, he informed Obi and he never cautioned his supporters. Is there any hatred Obidients didn't pour on Tinubu, any vile name they didn't call him? Obidients became vertically a terrorist group
So if people hate Obi, it only means d chickens are coming home to roost. I personally don't hate him, he is a Catholic like I am, we share same faith. But he does not have d grit to be president.

I have been using Infinix Phones for yrs but around June this yr, I noticed my Hot 8 was switching on hotspot on its own, switching on data even when I turn it off or put it on airplane mode it consumes my data.

I have tried everything thing I could without solution so I gave it up thinking twas due to age of d phone and bought a Smart 8 three months ago. Unfortunately it's exactly same problem. My wife bought Infinix to use for d first time, at about same time; Smart 9 and it's same problem. Even when I change d password of my hotspot, it still switches it on and my data just goes anyhow. When I change data sim before I sleep to d sim that has no data, by d time I wake up it switches to d one I have data, connects to hotspot and consumes it. Using Infinix Phones have become a nightmare in my household. Can anyone help me pls?

Bendeco02:
I don't support creation of another state inside South East due to small landmass. Instead they should add another state like Anioma State.

But saying that Igbos are least populated is very wrong and don't say that again because it will only show you're ignorant.

Do you know the number of Igbos all over Nigeria?. Many don't even return back to east again.

If you go outside africa, Igbo still full everywhere.

No Nigerian or tribe will say he/she have not come across Igbo man in his area. But many people in the north have never met yoruba man in their community or town. They only hear about some tribes on news or media unlike Igbos.

The most populated tribes in Nigeria is Hausa and Igbo. Don't allow anyone confuse you
So u don't like d peace in Asaba, Agbor, Kwake, Isele Uku and co, u want to introduce Monday sit at home and Unknown Gun Men? Creating Anioma State to join SE is a wild goose chase by Ned Nwoko, instead of chasing development, he is behaving like his young wife Regina - acting. The federal road people take from d North to East goes via Auchi to Uromi thru Ubiaja, Ewohimi to very front of his house in Idumuje Ugboko before linking Benin Asaba express way. The section front of his house in Idumuje is a nightmare, a disaster, buses and even small vehicles collapse on that road regularly during raining season, instead of fighting for d construction of that road he is chasing a dream that can never come thru.
Some of u should go ask ur fathers, historically, d people's of Ika, Ukwani, even up to Oshimilli have more affinity with d Edos, that's why they were formerly Bendel, formerly Midwest and formerly Western Nigeria way back into colonial times. Never were they administratively part of SE or Eastern region. The river Niger has placed itself as a natural border for d SE, nothing u can do about it, it makes no sense to create a state with one side on d east and another on d west bank of d Niger. The rest of Nigeria won't allow it cos of d secessionist agenda of d SE. And to create any state, at least 24 other states across Nigeria must approve and they will never. If u do a referendum today in Delta north, no way u will get d 75% or so Yes vote required to make it sail through. Ika, Obiaruku, Ozoro, Kwale won't even give u 15% yes so why wasting energy on a venture that won't fly? Nwoko knows he is a one term Senator, what will he use to ask for reelection?

As for saying SE should get one more state, u think other regions will agree to give SE a state without also approving at least one for themselves? Southern Borno, Idomas and Igedes in Benue, Okun in Kogi, Ijebu in Ogun, Southern Kaduna, just keep naming them. And with tax reforms of PBAT gradually leading to fiscal federalism, u guys are still hell bent on sucking d fed account? Pls fight to end Monday sit at home first, it's what's killing SE economy, not a sixth state u will never have cos it's not your right, having five states is already too much a favour cos in terms of landmass, population and contribution to FAAC, SE doesn't deserve more than three states.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Criticizes Calls For Northern Patience Until 2031 Presidential Bid by Odibembem: 6:08am On Dec 10, 2024
RealGandalf:
Atiku Abubakar, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former Vice President of Nigeria, has raised concerns over calls from the Bola Tinubu-led administration urging Northerners to hold off on contesting the presidency until 2031. Atiku described this as inequitable, pointing out a significant disparity in the years of leadership shared between the North and South.

Leadership Disparity

In a statement issued by his media adviser, Paul Ibe, Atiku highlighted the imbalance:

Atiku's remarks come as a response to Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, who recently called on Northerners to support Tinubu for a second term. Speaking on TVC, Akume stated, “President Tinubu, as a Southerner, should be allowed to have a second term, meaning that those eyeing the presidency from the North in 2027 should look beyond that year by waiting till 2031.”

Atiku's Push for Equity

Atiku questioned the fairness of this proposed arrangement, emphasizing the need for a balanced power-sharing structure between the North and South. He stated:

While calling for fairness, Atiku reminded Nigerians that ultimate power lies with the electorate:

“The power to elect and vote out their government lies firmly with the Nigerian people, entrusted to them upon the government’s ability to prove itself worthy of the people’s ballot.”

A Challenge to the Tinubu Administration

Critically, Atiku questioned the Tinubu administration’s performance as a basis for seeking re-election. He concluded with a scathing remark:

Implications for 2027

Atiku's comments underline the ongoing debate over power rotation in Nigeria, a critical factor in the country’s political landscape. As the 2027 election approaches, discussions about equity, fairness, and leadership performance are likely to intensify.

Source: The Bureau Newspaper
Atiku thinks southerners are stupid cos he has many to act as his spokesman. Nigeria did not start in 1999 but in 1960. By 2027, d north would had ruled for 46 yrs and d south 21 years. Atiku thinks southerners are fools and we have no record of history. Southerners are not fools

We cannot start checking where each project started to determine its effect on economic activities. What matters most is when it came into use as that's when it's full effect on development came to bear. Take d itakpe aladja rail for example. It never started under GEJ, rather twas under IBB in 1987 when it was started as a narrow gauge cargo rail. It was ultimately completed under PMB and put to use and it's impact on our dev was felt. The second Niger bridge was conceptualized under Shagari, different accessments and evaluations where done including a phantom commencement of work by GEJ but d govt actually mobilized men to site and saw you it's completion was PMB. It was out to use under PMB and its effect on our economy can be ascertained hence forth, GEJ lost out in d picture.

Redefine unemployment
Revase the economy

Under Jonathan people where buying new cars... Lectures were earning as much as 30k dollars yearly

Oil companies workers earned over 70k yearly for a start

Even teachers where earning 15k to 20k dollars yearly

The reality was a progressive economy n people saw it
The Jonathan era was that of consumption and depletion. All our growth went into consumption, Nigerians were travelling, spending their debit cards abroad, capital was flowing out, massive rice importation, reserves were depleted. Comedians, actors and entertainers made money which they consumed. Can u pin point any major infrastructure during that era or any major biz that were set up in Nigeria?
OBJ growth could be seen in d telecoms coys, and a huge increase in reserves, etc. Buhari was an era of slow growth yet we can see d infrastructure like d rail lines, second Niger bridge, roads like Lagos Ibadan and we also saw d emergence of fintechs, private universities blossomed and fx policies led to backward integration in coys that deal in tiles and ceramics, etc. Unfortunately too much debt and printing of excess cash in quantitative easing set up so much inflation.

Tinubu era is seeing an era in huge accumulation of reserves, consolidation of local refineries starting with Dangote, a $20b addition to our GDP, plus d attendant value chain, signature infrastructure masterpiece like d coastal roads and with d tax bills becoming law, Nigeria is likely to witness an almost doubling of govt revenue. This era also promises growth in d power sector with states getting off d national grid and setting up state grids due to d constitutional amendment removing power from exclusive list. Tinubu reforms have been so painful without doubt but there is considerable hope that we shall see d gains soon

Oga, Herbert Wigwe was not just an average Nigerian. He was a multi-billionaire! How is it possible that a man of that status can't give anything to his siblings in his will? It's impossible! I feel he was supposed to have settled them adequately, if not, they won't let him rest. You that are defending this nonsense, if he was your sibling, I am sure you will go to war with him on this same issues, but you are here denying reality. Did you read in the story, that one of his sister's cursed him that his plane would crash and his money will drop from the sky for other people to pick? Has it not literally happened like that? Hezbollah and Isreal war has not started yet wink Be careful what you wish for.

There's a reason PM Netanyahu has not accepted responsibility for this scale of Isreali terrorist attack on Hezbollah/Lebanon unlike Isreal attacks on Yemen, Syria and Lebanon. Hezbollah is not Hamas o.

US has denied involvement and that's bad for Netanyahu and Israel.
As a matter of policy, Israel never accepts responsibility nor deny any action it's agents take on foreign soil. Even d killing of Haniya and d Hezbollah Sec Gen yrs ago in Beirut, Israel never took responsibility neither did they deny. That's their strategy. Rem that Nasrallah up till now still hides in bunker only coming out occasionally. So Israel will never admit they did this not cos of fear but due to policy.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Didn’t Sign Peace Accord In 2023, Says Kukah by Odibembem: 3:03pm On Sep 17, 2024
treesun:
The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Matthew Kukah, has stated that President Bola Tinubu did not sign a peace accord when he was a presidential candidate in 2023.

Kukah, one of the conveners of the National Peace Committee headed by former Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar, made this known on Sunday in Benin City during the Edo Election Security Townhall.

According to the clergyman, the committee can’t force any presidential candidate to sign the peace pact, which has become an electoral ritual in the last decade.

Kukah asserted that the failure of political parties and their candidates to sign the peace accord sends a wrong signal to Nigerians, which the opposition can easily exploit.

He said, “The National Peace Committee, what we do is not in the Electoral Act, it’s not law; it’s moral. You can’t compel people to fall in love or love their neighbour.

“If you go back to the 2019 election, the presidential candidate for the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, was not there to sign the Peace Accord. And, of course, the opposition went to town, which is what it ought to be, and the next day, he (Atiku) turned up to sign.

“What is also very interesting is that the current president, when he was a presidential candidate, did not sign; it wasn’t our fault that the political opposition didn’t take advantage of it.

“It’s a pity, but we are not going to take anybody to court for not signing the Peace Accord. The only thing it does to you as a candidate is that it sends a wrong signal which can be very easily exploited by the opposition.”

Bishop Kukah is a lying angry irresponsible priest. Am a Catholic and am ashamed of him. Tinubu was not physically present to sign but his running mate who was in a joint ticket with him, Shettima was there to sign on his behalf. What exactly is Kukah trying to prove by twisting facts? This same Kukah was so close to PDP govt during d OBJ days, infact I suspect he may be a card carrying member. Since they lost in 2015, d man has been an angry lying fellow.

If it was Oshiomole or Akpabio or Tinubu that made this statement, social media would had been on fire with influencers spinning the meaning. No one will agree to reason whatever the context may be. Here is a sitting governor promising violence leading to possible death in his state during election and everyone is silent. Let's continue to be biased and show favouritism, what's happening to us will continue to happen.

But true true this beards is too much.

Clean shave is the standard and every nigerian should try and adhere to clean shave.
Honestly, I dont know why this craze about beards. Just a few years back, every banker, soldier, medical doctor where all clean shaven. America, UK, France, Russia have never had a bearded president or PM in the last 100 yrs. And d richest men in d world don't carry beards, they are all clean shaven. Beards were d signature look of rebelious people, Islamic fundamentalists. Even in Africa, it's mainly Nigerians that carried d beard issue on their head, copying US men who suddenly found it fanciful when their soldiers started returning with beards from Iraq and Afghanistan as from 2010. They wore beards to enable them blend with local Islamic men during d bloody insurgency fights of that era of their deployment. Now everyone has copied it and Nigerians in our usual lack of self esteem just copy anything American. But Kenyans, South Africans and Ghanaians did not copy copy like Nigerian men. They stayed clean and neat. And some lowlife men donit cos they think women like beards. Women life rich confident and intelligent men preferably good looking too. Nothing to do with ur dirty beards
