Hello please gun for Civil Engineering professional and don't pray to be assessed as engineering technologist. It has become very tough to gain Invitation for engineering tech. And I believe its your experience after PGD that will likely be counted for you because of the skill level of the occupation.


Better still, as @Bellong advised, try making your CDR to apply for Draftperson using HND qualifications.

He can assess as an electrical engineering Drafts person with Engineer Australia. He doesn't need experience, he only needs to write a CDR.

You mean experience is not needed for assessment as a Drafts person?Because I don't have experience as a Drafts person but a nice person here advised me to tender assessment as a Drafts person,if that is the case then great!!

No. English test is one of their requirements for assessment. Please consult the MSA booklet.

Please kindly advice me.I got an offer of employment after a Skype interview as an engineer from a Dubai engineering company to represent them in East Africa.As HR requested to process my visa,work and residency permit I have forwarded to them documents requested including unattested academic and professional qualifications.If I had seen this forum before sending my documents I would have attested them.My question is,is my visa and permit going to be base on UAE or the country am traveling in the East Africa immigration/labor laws?
