If you get money for account now go and buy Volkswagen transporter(danfo) put for road .
Lagos roads need more buses now ....
But be prepared for drivers story and police. More buses on which roads? The transportation infrastructure is inadequate and many existing roads are largely in bad state.More buses are not needed.Government should build more infrastructure and expand existing roads before bringing more buses. |

ttmacoy: It is expensive to sponsor a work permit hence why it tends to be larger companies who do so rather than smaller ones.
Secondly it will be very difficult for a small realtor firm to prove that she needs to bring in the skills she needs from Nigeria ie she cannot find someone local to do the job. Such jobs need to be advertised for a minimum amount of time and lawyers prove they can’t find someone in the US to do the job.
After all that the application process is pretty much a lottery, there are only 65k H1b visas a year and it’s always over subscribed with about 200k or more applications from all the numerous consulting and outsourcing firms especially those from India.
If you manage to get through all that how will the conversation at the embassy go? That you are an expert on the US realtor market (despite no license etc) and you are the only one who can do the job? Also realtors are licensed in their respective states so I don’t see how you can prove you are an expert from Nigeria.
Trust me the chances are so slim to none. That's it. |

How is someone winning a contract to install street lights an investment deal
He will bring his equipment from overseaas and the hosting country will end up paying him Pound sterling
How is that one investment deal.
The company has simply run out of clients in Europe and therefore decided to bring his services to Africa to make money.
Investment deals is manufacturing companies, big industrial companies leaving thier base in Europe to come to Nigeria to invest. This way the basic component of thier trade and commerce stays in the country they are domicile in.
These ones are just coming to make money and see the dullard smilling with his goro teeth smh That's it. |

We need effective quality control and standard checks in this country. That's it.Everybody is just building anyhow in this country even on flood paths. It's just a time bomb!! |

elhafeez: This year again. I thought it has stopped last year. Construction Industry in Nigeria is where even a graduate of chemistry would be called an engineer. People that have no business working there are the people employed. I work in one of the Urban planning and development Agency in the North. I disapproved a building which has a very good design submitted for approval but when I went to the site and saw how substandard the work is. The staff of my agency see me as an enemy of progress. How will I recommend a building for demolition. the building is a hostel. Imagine how many people will die if it collapse. Guess what, the building is still standing, nothing has been done to that report. The last time I checked they allowed the developer continue their substandard construction work. I was so sad that I concluded that this country has no future. No leader can change Nigeria if we in our own offices and homes cannot do the right thing. The relevant body has to step up, it shouldn't stop at desisgn approvals, there could be good design but on ground they will be doing another thing. All the approved design paremeters should reflect same on ground.Strict supervision is very important. |
