Nice one

Recently I stumbled upon a discovery, a great one indeed. It answered a question I left hanging and quelled the little disbelief, I must admit, that was stirring up in my heart. Here it goes.

God's promise was to raise an eternal king from the lineage of David. The initial situation was that the eternal king will be from the tribe Judah. This Jacob prophesied about when he said:
"the sceptre shall not depart from Judah" Genesis 49:10.

King David from the tribe of Judah was chosen as the stock from which the king shall be born. (2 Samuel 7:13). David's successor was Solomon the wise man. Down the line, other successors, royalties and common men, arose from this line which stretched to a man named Joseph. Some reckon Joseph as the link by which Jesus became the son of David. Now there's a big BUT.

Among the kings of Judah (all proceeded from the David-solomon line), there was a king called Jehconiah. Jechoniah, also called Coniah and Jehoiachin, reigned as king during the time the children of Israel were taken as captives into Babylon. (2 Chronicles 36, Jeremiah 22:24, Matthew 1:11-12).

The remarkable event that happened with Coniah as pertaining the genealogy of Jesus was recorded in Jeremiah 22:24-30. In vs 30, God swore that none of his offspring shall succeed in sitting on the throne of David. Coniah was part of the link through which Joseph's ascendancy is traced to David.

What's important to note here is that this pronouncement voided the chances of Christ being a king from David through the Solomon link. But since God cannot renege on His promises, an alternative had to be created.

This alternative genealogy is recorded in the book of Luke. Here, Christ's ascendancy was traced to David using His mother, Mary. Note the use of surnames in recording genealogies. This link avoided the David-Solomon line voided by the actions of Coniah but followed through another line established by another of David's son called Nathan.

Here's the beauty of the whole story.

Jesus had just one biological parent and that was His mother, Mary. Joseph was His adopted father. Tracing the genealogy of Jesus using his Mother is more accurate than through His adopted father. God showed His great providence by creating another link. So this is the summary of it all, Jesus Christ the son of David through His mother Mary. A beautiful plan indeed.

As a side note. The genealogy of Jesus has raised much dust. One of prominence is the real identity of Jesus' grandfather among the two mentioned in the gospels of Matthew and Luke. Having already established the origin of the genealogies of Jesus as recorded in the gospels, it is quite subjective I suppose to decide who was the 'real' grandfather of Jesus.

Excellent question. The answer for now it is not possible because of too many reasons.

1. It will be expensive.

2. You will need to have a quick way of opening the roof of the plane so people can eject out. You know this is not an easy task.

3. Training. There will have to be a compulsory training on how to use a parachute and how to eject safely.

4. There is a chance of parachutes getting entangled. Many people, small space = high chance of entangled parachutes.

5. If you read more about ejecting from a plane you will see that it is not inherently safe. You may survive but the chances of breaking a few limbs or getting paralyzed is high. Except if the plane is going to blow then you might take your chances but nonetheless, it is better to stay on the plane and receive protection from its frame.

Does it matter? Knowing fully well you wouldn't survive the crash. Jumping off at a level seemingly close to the ground would be a worthy risk.

These people are either too scared to do a survival stunt or they knowingly went on a suicide mission.

Are you talking about a plane that was probably spinning while crashing down to the ground with speed? You can't jump off a plane when it is approaching the ground while crashing.

Sorry I had to quote you guys but let me add something. When a plane or a vehicle is moving, it is not only the vehicle that is moving but everything inside it. So if you're in a car moving at 50km/hr then you are also moving at 50km/hr. A funny thing is that, if you start moving inside the vehicle, depending on your direction, you can either be slightly faster or slower than the vehicle.

Back to the topic, at the point when the plane is about to crash they all had the same speed as the plane. If any of them had dropped off at that point they would have impacted the ground just like the falling plane.

The major challenge is the great deal of ignorance of criminal law of rape. For instance where a pastor told a female worshipper, if I pour my holy water, euphemism for sperm, on you, you will be healed of your blindness and the girl consents to have sex with the pastor, and after the sex she still remains blind, it is rape because of fraudulent representation and this is also an undue influence from pastor to his female worshipper. This goes for a male medical Doctor to his female patients, a male lecturer to his female student , a police officer who promises the wife of the arrested suspect " if I have sex with you I will release your husband", see a common law case of R. v. Williams where a choirmaster told a chorister (girl) that if I have a sex with you, your voice hoax and texture will be improved , the girl consented and had sex with him, lo and behold her voice did not improve. The House of Lord HELD that IT WAS A RAPE.

I remember going through the law and seeing this. An eye opener I must say. The part that struck me most was/is that according to the law, a male cannot be raped. Or am I wrong?

Lol sir, the similarity you tried to draw is not in order at all. Completely different scenarios. From what I gathered he didn't say he won't have any relationship, business or personal, with females, he only said he would be fully open with all his interactions. Using the black-and-white race talk sounds a bit like a sentimental hook because you didn't factor in recent occurrences and how sentimental people could be about this issue. If any thing comes up, his reputation would be tarnished before he even defends his case.

This is a 15 hour long boat trip alone with a female. It has nothing to do with lack of control or being a sexist if he decides to insist on him bringing along a male colleague. People have rules and we must respect that.

Well deduced but electric current is measured in amperes not volts. Electric voltage is what is measured in volts. A simple explanation, imagine water flowing through a pipe, the rate at which the water is flowing is similar to current while the pressure of the water is just like the voltage.

Small generators usually have too many fluctuations (voltage, frequency) in their output that's one the reasons why they are not always advisable to use for charging phones and other sensitive electronics.

Final thing. Yes it is true that phone charges are said to accept voltage inputs between 100 - 240V however note this, the lower the voltage the more the current it will draw. This is why it is bad because high currents can damage the charger easily (or blow the fuse). By damage I mean burn it.

When you blindly drink 'sniper' that you want to kill yourself, this is what will happen to you....

3. A banging migraine will set in. You will hold unto your head and scream like it wants to explode..

4. Your chest will tighten, forcing close , making sure that your body have lost control over it.
