The simple reason is 'MALNOURISHMENT'
Too much 'artificial foods' being sold by 'vendors' have left many believers stunted, deformed, and out-of-shape. Especially in this era where stress is much and a lot of energy is needed to pull through. |

He created Adam and Eve which were the first people ever created, Adam and Eve had children, their children had children, the children must have had sex with their mother and sisters
Another super story, a virgin got impregnated by a holy spirit, hahahahahahha
We have been waiting for the coming of the Lord Jesus for 1 million years now and he's still busy arranging for the flight that will take him to earth
If you don't believe in God, you will go to hell fire, what kind of fire is in there ?? It has been flaming for 6 million years now non stop and the people in it haven't turned to ashes ??
God loves his children, meanwhile he's sitting in his chair made of diamonds and gold and his children are on earth dying of starvation
Go tell that stupid story to primary school kids All I see here is a complete lack of understanding. No worries, I now know why Apostle Paul wrote 'God in his wisdom took delight in using what the world considered dumb—preaching, of all things!—to bring those who trust him into the way of salvation. Be careful what you say, not all would be forgiven! |

Christianity Etc › Human Nature and Christian Life by Odinz(op): 5:57pm On Feb 12, 2017*. Modified: 1:42pm On Feb 16, 2019 |
Just thought I should share this, please read through it:
Recently, I spoke with one of the coordinators in my church and during our conversation I asked him a question, which was:
"Is it healthy as a christian to be introverted?"
Frankly speaking I was expecting a no/yes/somehow kind of response but what he said was totally different. Here's what he said:
"Temperaments and attitudinal differences are all part of us as humans, they are just various expressions of our human nature. This nature actually limits us. As Christians, we do not live according to our human nature rather we live according to the promptings of the Spirit of God which is in us. That is, our psyche, psychology, nature have all been subjected to the leadership of God through His spirit and so our natural makeup no longer defines us. Thus as we grow in the things of God, He(God) begins to take away parts of our human nature and replace it with His own perfect nature till we become a perfect reflection of Him."
He(coordinator) reminded me of when Jesus said "Father forgive them for they don't know what they are doing". Jesus was fully human then yet it was not His(Jesus) human nature that was speaking. He had been so soaked up with God, that His human nature had been fully transformed into God's nature that rather than say "Father avenge me" He pleaded for their forgiveness, showing one of God's core nature which is love.
His words really enlightened and motivate me, I hope it would do so to you and even more.
Thank you for reading. |

RockHard: You are trying to sound clever by half but ending up looking stvpid. Do you even think before you spit your gibberish?? Is wanton murder of supposedly corrupt political leaders the answer and solution to corruption? When has that ever eliminated corruption when in fact it only installs another set of corrupt leaders to replace the previous set. What was the end result of his actions? Did it eradicate corruption or plunge the country into a needless 3-year long civil war that wasted the lives of millions. Perhaps you need to have your brain checked for some loose bolts. Can't Nigerians make their point without including insults. If you have your reasons state it. Leave insults out of it. Its just childish. |

The reason is simple.
Everyone has the chance to create another persona of themselves to the internet.
In other words, they just have to know the right words to say and say it, then watch things work.
It is quite easier to fake your online personality than real life. |

I know so many didn't really read the post through and if they did they should have recognized the outstanding points Dare Awoniyi made.
However, its gladdening hearing those words from a northerner it deeply shows how unbiased he truly is. Religion has been used as a justification for many terrorist acts, giving religion a rather black name.
Its high time we curb this problem from the roots and by roots I mean our depreciated value system. |

Literature › Re: Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie Lashes Out At Donald Trump And Americans In Her Article by Odinz(m): 4:12pm On Dec 10, 2016 |
AnonyNymous: I'm sorry, but I don't agree with Chimamanda. Everything she wrote there can be summarized as saying the right wing is completely full of White Sipremacists. Which is absolutely wrong. OK, why did Donald Trump choose Dr. Ben Carson as Secretary (Minister) of Housing and Urban Development? There's even a Nigerian in his economic team. The Republican party is diverse. Surely not as diverse as the Democratic Party, but it has its own fair share of diversity. Not all right wingers are part of the alt-right. Although Donald Trump can be said to be the champion of 'alt-right' ideologies including populism and nationalism, what you have to understand is that the majority of people who supported Trump did so grudgingly- to vote against Hilary Clinton. Clinton's dirty laundry has been continuously exposed in the media up until this election, with Obama even 'finishing' her in the debates. Talking about how she was getting fatter on Walmart Capitalist money while he was being a community volunteer. They've said so many things about her that have effectively shown how she was unfit, and the nail in the coffin was the email scandal. And after all that, the Democrats decided that SHE was the person fit to run against a man who was running on the waves of populism, a very attractive ideology to people who were fed up with Obama's government. Charisma on Command explained it very simply. She didn't have the 'energy' and was never convincing enough. Trump came along with the idea of being an outsider. She immediately tried to switch, by calling herself an 'outsider' (which every idiot knows is not true) because she was a woman. Obama, on the other hand, while campaigning for her, turned the question around, saying 'You want experienced doctors to treat you, experienced engineers to build your houses. Why then do you want an 'outsider' to lead you?' Clinton just wasn't fit. Period. Another candidate would've been better. Only a very small percentage of Trump supporters believe everything he says. The rest just have so much disdain for Clinton. Trump's appointees aren't too discouraging either. He's appointing good brains in his cabinet. Some people claim that he's just appointing 'rich' people, but those are the people he knows how to work with. And because of his arrogant nature, he's so scared of failure that HE'S ACTUALLY TAKING ADVICE. You can see that reflected in his appointment of 'Mad Dog Mattis' as Secretary of Defence. Frankly, Obama's Secretaries of Defence didn't know what they were doing. He appointed 4 different ones over his two terms. This man, General Mattis, however, is very popular with the army. The soldiers have confidence in the government now, because they described Mattis as 'A man who knows what wars to avoid, but isn't afraid to fight back'.
All these are just speculation anyway. Let's see what happens in the end.
**As others have rightly said too, why hasn't she been writing long articles about Nigeria? Why hasn't she been actively using her influence to change the mindset of Nigerian Youths? Nice Best comment here, for me, so far |
