Obi was a two term governor of Anambra state after Anambra was popularized by the abduction of a sitting governor who was later removed for the rightful winner (Obi) to take over. Obi was the Chairman of South East governors' forum for the eight years he was governor despite being in opposition party APGA then. Obi was the deputy chairman of the Nigeria Governors forum despite being the only APGA governor then, a super minority party. Obi was member of the Nigeria economic management team during GEJ government even as opposition governor. Obi was also an adviser to president GEJ on finance. Obi won several awards from reputable national and international bodies and agencies during his reign as governor. Obi was vice presidential candidate of the PDP in the 2019 general election. Please which popularity are you talking about that he doesn't have already.

Reno should compare PDP's vote from Anambra State in 2019 and Atiku's vote from Adamawa state same year. While Obi delivered about 94% of votes cast in Anambra to PDP,Atiku could barely deliver about 52% of Adamawa votes to PDP. So, who is more loved by his people ? Who is the reason PDP lost in 2019 ? Atiku as Presidential candidate from the north could not deliver North East, but Obi even as Vice Presidential candidate delivered South East to PDP. What is Reno truly saying ?

So Mr.Jollof could not sell his candidate without mentioning Peter Obi ? He mentioned Obi for about 4 times in one post and didn't even mention any other candidate. That alone says so much about how Obi is the man to beat.

If every government official is free to invest state money in family business, then those who embezzled state found can as well come and tell us they invest such in a family business but unfortunately the business failed. Then Atiku and others did the right thing by selling Nigeria business to their cronies, those who get into government office and set up businesses without experience but award them state contracts in billions of naira can as well justify their actions.

But Peter Obi has been asked these questions on National TV and he answered them all. It is not right to still include his name on this list. He has been the most grilled and the most scrutinized of all the candidates so far.
