The word is getting the word.
I am not in any way religious but I can relate with the philosophy of our own religion.
I brought this up more than 2 years ago but people are just beginning to search for the truth
The time has come to get the people out of mental slavery.
They go to church and mosque everyday yet they are still scared of their own shadows.
A rebirth of our own religion, our values, our history and our destiny.
Something we can truly relate with.
Something which is ours.
Something that can bring back the glories of our ancient civilisation.
What we left The yoruba religion supported the arts, sciences, technology and the development of human kind.
What we embraced, we cannot relate with and they fight all the above.
Our politician swear by the Bible and Koran but those 2 religions excuse them for their misdemeanours.
Show me one politician who is scared of those oaths.
But I can show that all politicians are scared of oaths to olodumare delivered through the gods.
Ours teaches you that their are consequences for their actions right here on earth and in the afterlife.

The budget outline is as realistic as anything we have seen in the past 20 years. I want see the breakdown before I throw my weight behind it.
At least, the budget aims to address specific problems.
Unlike Jonathan's budget in which the only problem addressed are his kitchen, private jet needs and all manner of phantom projects etc

concerning the 500 000 teachers

let me say each teacher wll receive N50 000 a month

N50 000 × 12 months (1 year) = N600 000

N600 000 × 500 000 (teachers) = N300 000 000 000 shocked

am I the only one who believe that this project is as unrealistic as the N5000 promised to the unemployed youths
Until you realise that it is less than 1/10 of the money stolen by madueke.

You can sell your bad product in the East.
Yeah right he commissioned abacha's and Obasanjo's projects. Projects which were fully paid and fully mobilised before he became vice president.
Where are Jonathan's projects project for buhari to commission?
You can tell how disastrous his presidency was by simply looking at all his meaningless budgets.
A budget full of
Latrines
Building Fences
Train tickets in countries without a rail network Etc.

After 5 year and $500 billion, what exactly was added to delta state where this idiott originates from, Ondo, osun, kogi, adamawa, bayelsa etc

My take in all these is the communication gap. Nobody knows d policy direction of PMB.
Sometimes I wonder if finance ministers mouth is celotaped. I mean, how hard is it to assuage peoples fear. Talk to us. Tell us things are going to be better. Tell us sectors the govt is going to shore up and how. We are in limbo.

There is a total communication gap between this govt and the people cum investors. It is as if the govt wants to suprice us. Like there is some kind of suprise policy they are cooking. Hez presenting a budget and we don't know yet his direction in our rail sector, agriculture, housing etc. I just tire
Unlike the previous government, buhari's Finance minister is finance minister. Her main job is finding the money to pay for government policy and following the money once it goes out.
Every minister and governor are going to be involved in Policy formulation.
Amaechi, Fashola, Fayemi are more important in terms of policy than what has been returned to it former state of being boring( finance minidtef

the problems we have now needs immediate solutions and not a 10yr window
My analogy

Your chicken, that used to give birth to 2 babies ( chucks) all of a sudden started pricing 10 chickens because the sun was shining.
Instead of being cautious of this unusual bounty, you decided to live large.
Married two more wives
Threw big parties everyday and live life to the fullest.
Put it on my tab you said to everybody
This bounty continued for 5 years until one say, you woke up to find that your bird is only giving birth to one chick
Meanwhile you have debts everywhere from beer supplier to.... Caterer.
You have also refused to adjust to your new reality.
Meanwhile more people now sell chicken.
Are you prepared for N500 to $1 because the dollar supply will not increase but the unhealthy appetite for imported rubbish will still be there.
Meanwhile, Nigeria has less than 1 year worth of forex.
You may choose to prospone the pain

I AM SORRY TO SAY THAT THE PAIN IS/WAS INEVITABLE AND IT HAS TO BE ENDURED

Many people dey fall my hand.
Ekwesili is even using Russia as example.
That is a country with over 12 times the landmass of Nigeria and 30% of the world's natural resources . a country as scientifically and technologically advanced to rival any on the planet.
Russia has the base to produce most of what it consumes ; if not all.
All they had to do is reduce or restrict imports and look inwards.
Honestly speaking, the Nigerian non-economy built on the foundation on corruption need to be dismantled first and rebuilt.
In a country with this much poverty, can anyone explain why prices rival those of more advanced and richer countries?
Is it not for this bogus illusion of wealth that smaller and poorer countries are able to build better infrastructure for less.
Yesterday, one person was complaining on twitter that he could not pay his children tuition oversea because of the restrictions.
I was like, are these guys for real?
I support the restrictions they are in order.
Look inwards.
It seems to me that most are not even aware of the dire strait Jonathan and Iweala left the country and what is about to hit them if oil prices continue to fall.
Obasanjo avoided those reckless policy prescriptions from the worldbank and IMF, Knowing fully well that the Nigeria would either be used as a dumping ground for poisonous chicken or the excess that cannot be sold at home by advanced countries or used by developing ones as an experimental ground on their way to the first world.
Mass corruption, reckless increase in the size of the government and foolish government policies leading to the enlargement of the appetite of the country for foreign imports.
Guess what, the per capita money coming from the Niger delta and diaspora keeps shrinking year by year and cannot pay for that appetite.

These men did not know the word "marginalisation" when they were stuffing their noses with loot between 2010 and 2015.
What benefit did all that nepotic over-indulgence bring?Apart from a busted economy, Insecurity and you have an absolutely divided country.
Next time, you will learn to tolerate a society with sensible and divergent views, and not voting for a person or party who is globally regarded as a monumental disaster and disgrace apart from you know who. Better still, learn not castigate and totally alienate those with different affiliations.
There is a reality outside that insular bubble.
As we speak, Saraki and Ekweremadu are reconstituting the looting clique in the temple of corruption aka national assembly ( Choice cars today).More than anyone or any party, the representatives from the SE /SS were responsible for voting these 2 confirmed never-do-well as Senate president and vice.

I have said it before . It is nothing but an extension of the middle east crisis
Those killings need to be condemned even though I cannot stand all those who carry those foreign religions on their head.be you sunni, shiite, born again Christian etc.

the only people I can stand are the practitioners of the old generation churches and the animist.
By down their place of worship, they inadvertently exposed an ulterior motive.

Learn to press the "IGNORE" button whenever one of those illogical folks with limited cognitive abilities and bankrupt values make their noises.
That way, the echoes of their noises will always bounce back to them.
I believe in democratic socialism. the kind of system practiced in Scandinavia ( Norway, Iceland,Denmark,Sweden,Finland). The reason why Scandinavia tops virtually all indices of human development.
This mean I automatically detest corruption, tax evasion, loud ignorant people, people who bring religion into politics/social issues and ignorant people who think their opinions count.
That ignorance I hate most is that of those who are supposed to be educated but are incapable of situating issues.

Yes?
Stupidity and corruption.
You are right
That is one part of the picture.
The other part. National budget, taxes and corruption in the public sector
***********nationally budget

South africa - $128 billion
Indonesia - $129 billion
Nigeria-$ 28 billion

95 % of that tiny amount is swallowed up by the government through recurrent expenditure and corruption.
Yet Nigerians expect their country to look like the aforementioned countries.

Nigerians do not pay taxes but end up paying for it through
Road accidents
Low life expectancy
terrorists attacks
Armed robbery
Taxes to Chairman of road transport union
Gunshot at Police check point
Disease infested environments

Poor education or having to pay through the nose for private education.
Yet they wave shiny iphones and expect the roads to build itself.

Hopefully we will see more of this.
That is,the treament of criminals like criminals.
The criminal came to court dressed like a tout.
The attorney general ought to have made an example of a few corrupt judges first.
The magnitude of the crime seems to be lost on them.
A few pastors, imams and judges in prison will send a powerful message across the country.
