I'm so sorry, I have not seen your comment until now, as I don't always have notifications. It's under Ministry of Transport. We lost her on the 6th of August, 2015 & the documentation was done on 16th Feb., 2017 @ Premium Pension Limited. We are yet to receive a dime. But my concern now is if it's possible to get the group life. Pls is there any info you can sort for? Or should I travel to HOS in ABJ. Just want to be sure before wasting money for transport fare. Since those that went into industrialization, technology, infrastructural development, ICT, education etc have been rewarded accordingly. It's only wise God rewards us with our efforts in prayers. That's why today, Nigerian pastors are competing in building the biggest churches.

That's why there are more prayer houses and worship places than hospitals and schools. That's why people rush to prayer houses for medical and business solutions instead of hospitals. That's why we don't do business proposals before jumping into business since we are going to back it up with prayers. And when it collapse, we blame devil. That's why it's a sin to say anything negative about pastors and imams. That's why our pastors don't consider the opinion of engineers while building and blame devil when building collapse. That's why faith in God replaces building pillars and when it collapse we blame it on Lucifer. That's why our pastors are making sure they plant church branches instead of schools in every streets in Nigeria. That's why we always wait for gods to do that which ability to accomplish we already have in us. That's why we want our teachers to labour on earth and go to heaven for their rewards. Nigeria is a prayer loving, god fearing nation. Religion has taken the place of technology, infrastructure, education and all. When we are traveling, we ignore all the necessary road requirements, servicing of our vehicles and pray. And, once we pray, we can put a half fit vehicle on the road and blame our step mother or mother in law if anything goes wrong. That's why there are more people dying on our roads. Because, we pray and fast and leave everything to God when we have all we need to survive and build a nation....... I hope it made sense to you

So you think 2003-2007 Toyota Corolla is that cheap to call it a keke? I bet you don't even know the exorbitant prices those cars go for. You think 1.6 - 1.8m is easy for a struggling Nigerian to spare for just a car. Yes! It lacks power, yet people go for it because the fuel economy is superb & the maintenance is so affordable. I have not changed even a brake pad for months now, if not close to a year. I travel with mine a lot even with its peppy power. I used to drive an Accord 2006, but that poo nearly killed me, if legs no comot today na brake pad I go dey change every now and then. Then finally I lost the gear, I was tired and I sold it. But I waited for more than a year because I did not have enough money for the Corolla.

The fact is I hated Corolla because I tot it was bland and everybody knew or owned one. But now I have peace of mine. The AC is cold as ice, I bet you will always turn it down.

Abeg this country is hard, let people buy their first car with fuel economy and reliability as their first target.

There's rent to pay, food to buy, clothings and some other things to do with money. U don't have to spend all your ends means on a car just because u want to look fly. For me, when it's time to get a flashy car, God will decide. And even at that, Bros even with a G-wagon, Corrolla will serve as back up plan.

Op, thank you for this piece of information. Honestly I'm very elated to read this. My late mum died in 2015 in active service & she was with Maritime Academy of Nigeria. I went to her employer to inquire if she was covered for Group life Insurance and to my greatest surprise, they said no one has been covered from the inception of the 2004 pension reform act. I don't even know how to go about it. Please is there any hope? How do I get her covered even after her demise? Pls reply. Thanks!
