Lumping them up under 'yoruba' is oversimplification. There's a difference between language and dialect. The writeup was about languages and not dialect. There are more than a thousand dialect in Nigeria. |

OfficialP: Whatever you do, nurture that fearlessness into teenage years..it will be challenging, but the rewards is enormous Kids is ignorant... Or should use a more soothing word "innocent"... And not fearless. She's never been clawed by that cat hence the cat is harmless to her and she's ain't scared. If she got clawed by that cat, her interaction with the cat will change. She know it could cost her harm. You'll see a child crawled directing to a lit candle to play with it... That kid isn't fearless, rather ignorant. Once she/he got burned, they won't go near candle light. If they got burned and still crawled to it, you can call that fearless. |

CoronaVirusPro: Parenting is fun! It’s a novel.
If you really want to come to terms that’s it’s normal, ask your parents how you behaved as a kid and you will be amazed they took after you.
One of my aunt said to me mum in my presence that, “Is this not that boy that was still sucking breast at 4 years old”, and my mum confirmed that’s him.
I looked at myself and felt embarrassed. It was like I was asking myself how possible is that. How could I have have done that.
Parenting is fun dude. Make sure you record some moment. Those kids might try to deny when you tell them. My prayer was my kids to be like me, but never to take one part of me "hardened heart" I was a kid that wasn't scare of cane or any form of punishment. If I said "I'm not doing this thing or leaving this place" beat now till eternity I'm not going to do it. Normal kids when a parent is coming with a cane they'll run, for me I'm going stand there and let you do your worse. I hated that part of me, now my child has taken that exact trait. |

JackDaAlienz: This is the result of everyone going into white collar jobs and ignoring technical skills such as welding and steel processing.
Thereby leaving quacks and old skilled welders to be controlling the market. If more youths would shun white collar and venture into welding metal forging we will create high quality products.
If that pot was made in USA trust me it won't break. They manufacture things with durability in mind. Over here they just want money They don't care about durability of product Just give me money that's all they want
That's why so many sub standard goods everywhere They calculated size without calculating weight of water, ingredients, rice, final weight if all went through heat and rises, how the durability of the material in its cold and hot temperatures.... None of these was put into consideration. I believe it was "how big it'll be to contain 20 bags of rice" was only what they calculated. |

foodlum: I can now see how sensible your suggestion is to sell some of the printers and channel the proceeds towards the purchase of other types of printing business machines.
Regarding renting an office, which location characteristics should one look for in the consideration of where to site the office? Best..... Location should be a Go-To area for printing, like printing hub. Alternatively, an area where there's no existing printing press. And area could be area where no printing |
Art, Graphics & Video › Re: What Do I Do With These DI Printing Machines From The US? Advise Needed by Offpoint1: 8:00am On Sep 12, 2025*. Modified: 10:52pm On Sep 12, 2025 |
foodlum: -The printing machines you recommended buying, what machines are they exactly? -The 5 machines you recommend selling, what kind of prices do they command in the Nigerian market? Printing is extremely wide, even if you have 200m you can't purchase all printing machines. Printing business is a collaborative business (only those in it will understand this statement) The most important machine to own for a starter are: 1. DI machine (you have this already) 2. Large format machine (Large format are in 2 types: a single large format machine or 2-in-1 large format. The 2in1 does printing and cutting, useful for stickers, but very expensive.) 3. Plotter cutter (You only need this if you go for the single large format) 4. Heat press 5. Laminating machine 6. Cutting machine (this is use in cutting papers) These 6 are Primary machines you need for starters. Other machines such as DTF, sublimation, lasers, Borderless, screen print etc can come in later. As per the secondhand value of those 5 machines, I will like you search for that online yourself for transparency purpose. Google or jiji will give insight |
