This should be "Yes". Someone provided an information regarding this yesterday that it should be "No". If you CAS already confirmed your English language it should be Yes.

I need help with this mistake.

I picked "No" and I have made payment. How can I correct this? Or this be overlook by the UKVI because CAS states my english proficiency and I have a Neco to support it.

Generally, MA/MSc International Business Programmes are conversion programmes. This means applications from any discipline are welcome on this type of programme. Most Unis also have a 2'2 degree entry requirement (T&C's may apply for top 10 Business Schools).

So you can apply with just your Undergrad transcript. Business Analytics however is trickier as they are generally not conversion programmes and may require some quantitative ability .You may be able to show relevance as per the entry requirements from some modules you have studied on your MBA programme and also work experience.

Guys please I need your advice. I want to apply for a business/management related course. I have a bachelor's degree in English and a MBA. But as it's right now I may be able to get only the degree transcript. I have made all efforts to get my masters transcripts but I keep hitting a brickwall. Can I upload Attestation of result along with my degree transcript? Will the schools insist on the Masters transcript? Can I get admission to MSc International business management or Business Analytics with only my B.A English transcript.
Note : I have the certificate of both degrees.

Usually banks would request that you provide your correct email address or the email address you want linked and authorize the change by writing a letter or providing the details on their template. what is the particular challenge?

She would be starting from Foundation. To be considered for a direct entry year one she would need to have completed her A levels or completed an OND Programme/HND programme or completed year 2 of a Bachelors degree programme.

So i really don't think this is a deal breaker.

Institutions always state on the CAS the documents used in assessing the application and which of the evidence of the qualifications used to obtain the offer is required to be provided during the Visa application and also notify the UKVI of this. This is the reason why institutions highlight that they are a Higher Education Provider (HEP) with a track record of compliance.

The reason student visa applicants should have their transcript/certificate handy and add it with the visa application outside a notification on the CAS is because there is a provision for it on the visa application document checklist.

If there are issues of compliance with immigration rules from the institution, the ECO may want to see every document used to obtain the offer and the applicant would be notified to provide this.

I had same issue. I was asked to provide letter from WAEC acknowledging this mistake or get certificate reissued by WAEC with correct DOB.

In my case, I replaced with my NECO certificate since the process with WAEC takes time and costly.

There is an error in the date of birth on my WAEC certificate and I want to use it to apply to University of Lincolnshire so I want to know if I can support it with court affidavit. Do UK universities accept Court Affidavit.

eg i have been volunteering as a substitute teacher(or whatever capacity) in ------------ school since --------- date. i teach English Language to children in Primary --------- .

The school can substantiate this with a reference letter as well.

The evidence required is expected to cover an 11 year period. He should provide the evidence he has up until when he left work. this is still substantial as it covers a 10year period. do you know what he has been doing since July? If he has been doing any volunteer work he can reasonably explain this, if it is also that he just decided to take a break and refresh since July he can also reasonably explain this.

The best case scenario is that you will get the NSF. However, If there is an opportunity to be explored where the TLS can still link this to your submission because you had subscribed to their assisted service and at zero cost, by all means. it will take nothing from you.

if not, fingers crossed for the best case scenario.

I reached out to them yesterday when they sent a questionnaire for me to fill and I received a reply today saying that since it was assisted, I can still go back there and ask that they upload the document.

But on my tracker, it's already been recieved by the DMC, do you feel I should still go or wait hopefully for the NSF

Unfortunately this doesn't change the rules on withdrawing from studies. The University being attended is obligated to report this to the UKVI as has already been mentioned to you.

After applying for the school and just a few weeks to departure, the gurdian had a serious issue which will make him not continue with the education anymore. Rather than coming back we think he should stay for now and maybe start working.

So now that i am waitng for another 28dys, the bank that i typed in my application is different frm the one I am now using. Will this be a problem? If it is, is there anything I can still do now?

A neater and tidier arrangement is to please request that your parents transfers the required POF to your account so you don't have to worry about the name arrangements. Do your parents have any challenges with this? An affidavit should cover this no need to get a new birth certificate.

So your enquiry suggests that your new passport will obviously have a new passport number and likely your new surname?

If yes, later this month is already here, you may wish to wait except you have other technical reasons for asking.

First Level checks conducted at the decision center should hopefully flag this and then the request for you to send this follows. fingers crossed on both hands.

As much as this somehow skipped you, I don't think it should have also skipped the staff that attended to you at the TLS center. Especially because you paid for an assisted service. where is the value then in the assisted service?

I am not sure the ask is that the frontline officers there be immigration experts but the barest minimum should be that they have their own checklist where they ensure that mandatory documents such as Bank Statements and TB Test results should be included in every student visa submission.

on a lighter mode your vocabulary "ruined" and "doomed" suggests that you may like period dramas maybe you could watch some of them to take your mind of it while trusting for the best possible outcome on your application.

I went to Tls vi yesterday for my appointment, paid for assisted service and all, and not until I got home did I remember that we didn't upload my TB test

I had the results and the copies but it wasn't on the checklist so It just skipped my mind in the stress and all...

Am I in soup or they'll send a NsF mail to that regard?

I believe the emboldened statement speaks to the references i have already made as per different institutions and entry requirements.

However in this instance, when we compare apples to apples, the enquirer i believe has mentioned that their undergrad transcript is available hence the request to prioritize this document.

Nothing is cast on stone, I have a Master degree in computer science and a BSc in computer science, I have my master transcript but didn't have my BSc transcript, the agent insisted I get my BSC transcript and that would cost me time and money I went ahead and searched for schools myself, the 2 school I choose gave me an unconditional offer and edge it on my Masters degree. All I did was proof why I decided to narrow down to Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence[/b]. Although I submitted my BSc certificate but none of them asked me for the BSc transcript

Are you applying as a child or an adult? please clarify. Parents as sponsors and birth certificate to prove relationship is only relevant documentation when you are applying as a child.

Point of correction please. there is a guidance for a reason. Please do not encourage people not to follow laid down rules. There are extenuating circumstances which require that additional support documentation or substitute documentation is provided where the required documents are not available and with good reason. The ECO exercises their discretion at this point to accept as satisfactory or otherwise.

So in summary,nothing is compulsory, jst prove your own case as your own peculiar circumstances dictate and be open and truthfull about it .

Well, if you do not have a 3rd class degree and are using the Masters as a support documentation to show that you have sort to better yourself, or highlight extraordinary achievement(passed with a distinction) am not sure how much leverage if any the Masters will give you in the decision making process. but then, this depends on the entry requirements for the programme and the institution. Your Undergrad transcript is the most relevant so please prioritize this. the Masters is secondary.

Firstly, you are a sole parent and have the sole responsibility for your son due to the demise of his father. Highlight this in the additional information column so the ECO can note this.

Secondly, if his school runs a day school system, you can request the school to highlight that he journeys to school and returns home daily like other students in the school. if the school has boarding facilities and he is a day student, you can also request the school to highlight this on the letter to also show that he journeys to school from his home and returns home.

Thirdly, when the school highlights No 2 then reiterate the information in the additional information column to support point one that you have sole responsibility for him which also includes providing daily guidance as per school assignments etc as he returns daily home from school

*Kindly remember to include a copy of the marriage certificate and partner's death certificate with this application and mention in the additional information column that you have included this.*

the change of name document in this instance further supports the information already on the marriage certificate. e,g your surname and your partner's maiden name. where available you include, where not available use just the marriage certificate to prove relationship.

Just a few things for you to think about in terms of a format for a cover letter so your submission is clear and addresses what the ECO is requesting at a glance. It is not a face to face conversation where there are opportunities for questions and responses and follow-on questions where the ECO has grey areas so use this opportunity to provide clear information that the ECO can immediately use as part of the decision making process.

Now this comment is everything!!!!!!! The below emboldened refers. It sends mixed messages when just the OND and 4 years of experience is credited as the sole underlying reason for the offer of a place on a UK Masters programme which is erroneous. There is just no basis at all to draw a parallel between the Nigerian Education System at OND level and the British Education System at NQF level 7 . They are light years apart! There are impressionable people following this thread, let's be guided as sharing experiences requires a very high level of accountability.

First, i like to start by saying congratulations. However, if it is for career progression, I do not think you have helped your self. I know alot of people have reacted to this post with very little knowledge about the field of biomedical sciences. 1. You deliberately concealed facts and that's not good. You are trained as a medical laboratory technician and as such possess an MLT certificate with 2.2. You are also registered as an MLT with MLSCN. However, you have gone to secure a master degree in the field of Biomedical sciences when you should have pursued a degree.
2. Do you honestly think, that you have received enough lessons in Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, and all other medical laboratory course? To warrant you to jump to masters degree in the UK? A certificate course as a technician in medical laboratory is different from a 4 year degree in medical laboratory science.
Do you also know that as a master student you specialise in a more narrower area. In fact from most of our university at degree levels, you would have chosen your path and specialise before graduation writing your professional exams in those areas you have chosen to specialise like Chemical pathology, Hematology and blood transfusion, Medical Microbiology, and Histopathology. Which area have you specialised in?
3. Have you heard of HCPC in the UK. This is the body that licences you to practice as a biomedical scientist in the UK. And without a Bmls degree from an accredited university, you can't even register as an HCPC professional let alone practice as a biomedical scientist in the UK.
4. I don't know who you consulted before taking that decision but you would have been better off with a degree in Biomedical science than this height you have gone.

I think it's better you draft your responses to these questions and then share with the house (no one can adequately tell you number 2, you need to research it). People can critique and you can amend afterwards. The advantage of this is you would have done your own research and are able to write it in your own words and achieve the right level of stickiness so you are able to discuss this more naturally when asked rather than regurgitate a response you got here. Remember with an interview, the interviewer is listening for logic, correctness, as well as looking to pick up cues that contradict what you are saying or exposes a lack of knowledge which could ultimately portray your intentions in a certain type of way .

Unfortunately, UK Institutions are battling with an unprecedented increase in both applications and deposit payments. to put it in context, presently, Nigeria is at a 150% increase in the total pool of firm acceptances in comparison to this same time in 2021. Just to be clear, firm acceptances being, accepted an offer of a place and paid a deposit.

So instances where you get sent these types of emails are sadly going to be commonplace.

There is no one size fits most answer for this. Institutions are battling with an unprecedented increase in deposits from students so they would usually do this in an order that works for them. For some institutions it is quicker than others.
