Efemena_xy: I've already stated that I do not appreciate seeing my name used in the story. There are lots of other names in the world to pick from.

Kindly edit your work and make the necessary adjustments in taking my name out.

Thank You.

See response above.

Yes I did take it personally and I still take it personally.

I don't care if it wasn't intentional. What I do care about is seeing my name taken out of his story.

As long as my name remains in there, then you lot should consider my participation in this write-up withdrawn.

I WANT MY NAME OFF THAT STORY.

PoliticsRe: APC May Collapse Over Logo Dispute!! - Source by Ofido(m): 1:23pm On Mar 09, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: APC On The Verge Of Collapse!!

The search for an opposition Coalition partners in the All Progressives Congress, APC, who registered a new party early Wednesday in Abuja when nine of the 11 governors in the group adopted a logo, a slogan, and a motto for the proposed party is on the verge of collapse if issues are not brought to the table early.

But some reliable sources have said that the merger is heading to the rocks as some of the alterations in the new logo has not been to the betterment of all involved.

According to the source the ANPP, ACN, CPC and others in the merger agreement are brewing for a likely collapse due to disagreement over the new Logo that was registered amidst many.

The source also stressed that their are indications that PDP might have penetrated the merger group to insist on a particular logo against the wishes of other merger group.
'The intention of PDP is to buy over the merger group, particularly Shekarau, Yerima Bakura and possibly Tom Ikimi.

'Let me assure all persons interested in the merger, as State chairmen and major stakeholders in the polity and merger interest, we are all talking to our selves as State Chairmen from ACN, CPC and ANPP.' The source said.

The source also stated that the merger group is merely considered a committee and what ever they are doing is purely advisory stressing that
'they will finish their adhoc work and report back to their NEC. It will be there that, all Party's will kill any submission that is not in conformity on arrival.
It will happen across parties to send a signal that, they have not carried the state chairmen along.' The source emphasized.

The source also warned some of the big wigs of the party like Shekarau and Yerima to take Heed, or 'nemesis will soon catchup with them.'
The source said that 'we will deal with them politically and as Northerners'.

The logo seems to be an issue as some aggrieved parties feels that there should be a new logo and flag and not playing with peoples mind.

'To the joint merger committee and other stakeholders, if you are all working for Nigerians, and the merger has a brand new name, the Logo too must be brand new, so that no party will claim ownership.
Anything short of this, we are all heading to the ROCKS. "

The ACN logo, unlike the APC logo had no red frames, however the broom on the white background, according to insiders at the meeting, was a concession to the view that the broom is generally more acceptable and impactful than ANPP’s maize and CPC’s pen.

RomanceRe: Why Men Like Confident Women. by Ofido(m): 9:06am On Mar 09, 2013
simdam500: An ideal woman, a girl friend or a life partner must exude confidence. Gone are the days when men crave for anopportunity to be a knight in shining armor. They don’t like weaklings or delicate darlings, but smart, street intelligent and confident women who know what they are doing and what needs tobe done. A confident woman is determined and head strong, and it’s what guys look for beyond looks or sex appeal. Here are 6 reasons why men like confident women.

1. Confident women are decision makers
A confident woman who takesdecisions on her own alwaysattracts a man. A man doesn’t like if a woman always depends on him for making any small or big decisions, he would respect and appreciate her if she takes advice, but listens to what her mind and heart says and make decisions in life.

2. Confident women have a great personality
Confidence is a factor that always adds on to a person’s personality. It creates a certain charm about the person. A confident woman would carryherself with grace and style. With confidence a woman looks charming and strong, and this really attracts men.

3. Confident women are independent and single minded
Confident women don’t need constant support and assurance; they handle themselves and their lives the way they want. So men are attracted to confident woman because they know they wouldn’t have the constant pressure to give their support to her.

4. Confident women are courageous and fearless
Confident women stand up for what they believe in, they don’t get pressurized by anyone. They know what they want and they work towards it. The fearless and courageous behavior that comes with confidence always attract men.

5. Confident women make great life partners
It’s easy to date, but when itcomes to marriage, starting a family and having children, women require to multitask, make decisions on their toes, when husbands are not around, step into his shoes and manage things efficiently. In order to be able to do this, men know that they need someone whois confident and will not crumble under pressure.

6. Confident women extend support
Confident women make reliable people. Men also need a shoulder to cry on and if they have a problem, they know that they can onlycount on women who are strong and confident.

http://www.magforwomen.com/6-reasons-why-men-like-confident-women/
I totally disagree with this post, most me including myself appreciate it the more when ur women call u to help her make a little decision which u knw she can make it on her own but respect and prestige on seeking for ur opinion goes a long way. Most time we men may sound arrogant and act gidi-gidi as if she is distorbing us but deep down in our hearts we love it.
FamilyGender Equality, The Cause Of Many Broken Families Or Not? by Ofido(op): 7:26pm On Mar 07, 2013
*Women Empowerment, The curse of societal moral decadence among our women or A Blessing to this generation?

**What is your take on the 50-50 bid by our female counterpart..?

***With the present 35% given to The Female Gender in terms of political representation and lets say the little rights they tend to have grabbed by themselves, is our society safer and more peaceful now?

I got the wind of International Women Day Cerebration while listening to the radio this morning, all i heard was ''equal rights for man and woman, equal this, equal that, that the men should see they wives as partners not as wife again... Haaa! So many things came to my mind.

Fine, Nigeria has made significant strides in gender equality and protection of the right of women but lets really try to examine this gender equality bid and the pros and cons.

I have said it without mincing words that gender equality is the cause of so many divorce we see today, broken homes, most marriages are today warzones, no body wants to be under a head and seriously it has taken toll on our youth which in turn have affected the society at large.

I am in full support of women right wen it comes to subjection to early marriage, female circumcision, girl child education, rape, widows abuse, domestic violence but for single motherhood and girl child assess to contraceptics am yet to take a stand but for they 50-50 bid ''Waa-Waa na oburu ndi Abakaliki'' am totally against it, its like trying to say that all fingers should be equal.

FoodImported Vs Our Local Rice (why Are We Unpatrotic) by Ofido(op): 9:13pm On Nov 01, 2012
Having studied Food Science and Technology in the university, i took kin interest in Rice Milling and Processing. Now with improved variety of rice seed available to farmers i can authoritatively say that Local rice have got beter organoleptic quality and its more nutritious than the so-called imported rice. Our current minister of Agric also comfirmed same when he made a speech sometime in May that Rice imported into Nigeria is only good for Livestocks. See link http://tribune.com.ng/index.php/news/41509-nigerians-eat-15-yr-old-foreign-reserved-grains....
but what do you think?

Also we went into research for a subtitude and got EVA DIAMOND RICE. Its nicely processed under strict supervision of my himble self a renowned food scientist. Its stone and chaff free

PoliticsAchebe(se/ss) Vs Awo(sw) War Another Opportunity For The North by Ofido(op): 7:43am On Oct 08, 2012
I have being reading some
comments in
this forum, all they are
interested in is senseless tribal attacks,
steering hatred among other ethnic
groups leaving the main topic of
discussion. These are not the reasons
why we comment in this forum. We
comment here in order to help our
incompetent leaders with some
thoughts on how best our failed
country could be governed. I do not
understand why Achebe book that tell
the naked truth about little Awo crime
during the Biafra war should inflame
the Yourabs. I would suggest that
Yorubas should make their own
research on this issue and find out if it
was true or not before some of their
tribal istic leaders, and tribalistic
gladitors in this forum start using it as a
political tools that may hurt both parties
in the long run. As you guy drag about
nothing in this forum, the northern
leaders are watching with kin interest
and with smiles all over their faces
about winning the next election based
on south stupidity to called a spade a
spade in their argument. We should not
forget easily that the log ahead
between the Yoruba and the Igbos are
the reasons why the north hold on to
power for more than 40 years and the
result is a failed nation that is now
biting everyone of us now. My advise is
that, we should learn to accept facts
and apologies to those victimized
without making unnecessary noise that
we hurt all of us. Awo is already a
legend to his people and to some
Nigerians weather Achebe critizies him
or not. I do not see anything wrong in
making Awo little crime known to its
victims.
I don talk my own oo. Ndi Igbo and Yorubas lets be reasonable.
