PoliticsRe: Adeboye Plans Prayer For Economic Restoration by Ofunaofu:
Under the previous regime, he led protests demanding good and purposeful governance, calling for an end to the wanton killings, maiming, and destruction of lives and property of Nigerians. But under his kinsman’s regime, instead of criticizing and leading protests, demanding action and accountability, he is organizing prayers.

PoliticsBukar Dalori Replace To Ganduje As Acting National Chairman by Ofunaofu(op): 9:07pm On Jun 27, 2025
....reveals

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ayekooto Akindele, says the party’s Deputy National Chairman (North), Bukar Dalori, will replace Abdullahi Ganduje.

Ganduje on Friday resigned his position as the National Chairman of the ruling party.

Although the circumstances surrounding his resignation remain unclear, some sources have attributed it to health reasons.

While Nigerians await an official announcement from the party’s National Working Committee regarding the resignation and the choice of replacement, Ayekooto stated that Dalori will assume the office.

In a post on his official Facebook page, the APC chieftain wrote, “Acting National Chairman of the APC, Ali Bukar Dalori.”

Bashir Ahmad, former media aide to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, earlier stated that one of the national vice chairmen of the party would succeed Ganduje.

According to him, the successor will function in an acting capacity pending the election of a substantive chairman at the national convention scheduled for December 2025.

The EFCC should, as a matter of urgency, swoop in, make arrests, and ensure that the babariga dollar-stuffing thief returns all the money belonging to the people of Kano State, which he has been using his APC chairmanship position to evade accountability for.
PoliticsRe: Legacy Over Elections: Tinubu’s Uncharted Path by Ofunaofu: 11:59am On Jun 27, 2025
Op, stop confusing recklessness with reform. Removing fuel subsidies without building a safety net isn’t bravery; it’s negligence. Floating the naira without stabilizing policies isn’t economic genius; it’s malpractice.

What we’re witnessing isn’t “legacy over elections”; it’s crisis over competence a bold dive into chaos dressed up as reform. And no, that’s not political will. That’s political willful ignorance.

PoliticsRe: FG, Dangote Strike Deal To Cut Down Fuel Prices by Ofunaofu: 11:57am On Jun 26, 2025
I hope they aren't trying to reintroduce the subsidy we were told was gone.

We endured untold hardships and bought fuel at exorbitant prices. While Nigerians groaned, the government of the day justified its actions by claiming that the country was broke, that there was no money for subsidies and that there was simply no way fuel could be cheap. In fact, their media lackeys, MÁGÁ dogs etc even argued that, despite the high prices, fuel was still cheap compared to what our neighboring countries paid.

Coming from a man presiding over a government that’s turned half the country into actual IDPs, that’s rich. If calling for good governance makes them ‘political IDPs,’ then Nigerians will proudly pitch their tents with them because under your watch, even staying home feels like displacement.
PoliticsTinubu Dismisses Opposition Coalition, Says They’re ‘political Idps’ by Ofunaofu(op): 9:00pm On Jun 25, 2025
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lashed out at those behind a proposed political coalition aimed at stopping his re-election bid in 2027.

Tinubu described them as political “internally displaced persons.”

The President stated this on Wednesday while commissioning legacy projects in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital.

The projects were executed by Governor Abdullahi Sule, whom the president praised for prioritising the welfare and prosperity of his people.

Addressing the reported coalition of opposition forces, which includes former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and ex-Kaduna State Governor Nasiru El-Rufai, Tinubu dismissed the alliance as an early and misguided political move.

“Those who have triggered the early politics in the perdition of the coalition suddenly. Don’t pay them any attention; they are the political IDPs. Don’t give them a home; the hope is here,” the President said.

He made it clear that he would not be silent while opposition figures plotted to unseat him

He stated, “I’m not geared for what they tried to pull on me. Early political campaign, but who is the politician who will keep quiet when the gangsters are forming a coalition to unseat themselves?”

Despite ongoing economic challenges, Tinubu maintained that his administration has made significant progress.

“We’ve cut the waste. I won’t say much on the economic dynamism that we’re facing, but the hope is here. From this moment on, you’ll have no regret,” he said.

Commending the governor’s performance, Tinubu said, “Sule is doing well because Bola Tinubu is doing well, too.”

He also applauded Sule’s prudent use of the state’s resources and pledged the federal government’s continued support for Nasarawa.

“I could see hard work coming from A. A Sule, who is determined to use the resources available to him for the benefit, stability, and prosperity of Nasarawa State,” Tinubu stated.

He also reaffirmed his support for Sule and commended the First Lady of Nasarawa State for her contributions.
