During Goodluck Jonathan’s administration, Tinubu said, the buck stops with the President on matters of insecurity, and even advised Jonathan to resign over it. Today, under Tinubu, Nigeria is facing an even worse security crisis, arguably the worst in its history. Suddenly, the buck no longer stops with the President. Tinubu is not taking the same advice he once gave, and Nigerians are now being told by the presidency to defend themselves with lethal weapons. Never in our history have we had a government so detached from the people and so unwilling to take responsibility. Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Scam mandate is now a mandate of death. |
Seun Mynd44 Nlfpmod fergie001 Why has the most vocal and sophisticated tribe suddenly gone silent while insecurity, kidnappings, and killings ravage Yorubaland? |
franchasofficia:So Laide Olabanji na Igbo actor now? Your eyes don really blur. Tinubu induced hunger don make you no dey see clearly again |
Tinubu’s mandate is a mandate of death a mandate of hunger, hardship, strife, and worsening insecurity. Nigerians have known no peace since this grab it, snatch it, and run with it mandate |

“Ganduje Promised Power-Sharing Formula Before My Defection, But It Was Never Done" — Sen. Ned Nwoko According to a report by Arise News, on Wednesday May 20, 2026, the internal crisis rocking the Delta State chapter of the All Burgers Congress (APC) has taken a sharper turn as the incumbent federal lawmaker representing Delta North Senatorial District, Senator Ned Nwoko, openly lamented the systemic sidelining of founding party members. Nwoko warned that the influx of powerful new defectors into the state chapter has triggered a hostile takeover, completely upending internal party democracy and pushing foundational members into political irrelevance. When asked by the interviewer if the current friction inside the party points to a wider national trend or an impending party implosion, Nwoko chose to focus strictly on the political terrain he knows best. ". I keep telling you that I can only talk about Delta," Senator Nwoko stated emphatically. "The fact is that the legacy APC members have been shoved aside and and the the new guys that came in took over practically everything.". The friction stems from the fallout of the highly contentious Delta North primary election, where Nwoko claims his victory across the district's 98 wards was hijacked by state-level actors aligned with newly defected political heavyweights. Nwoko revealed that before making his own transition to the ruling party, top national leaders including former National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje had explicitly promised that a structural power-sharing formula would protect the interests of both old and new party elements. "We were assured that there will be some sharing formula, power sharing formula that the state exco [executive committee] will be dissolved and there will be nominations to enable the old APC to get a foothold into the government, but that was never done," Nwoko explained. https://news-af.feednews.com/news/detail/0f6267edac3200b19d62122f145b7559?client=news |
WizardOfNG:Maybe put your thinking cap on first. If you did, you’d be asking Tinubu to follow his own advice and resign over the insecurity plaguing this country, the same advice he gave Goodluck Jonathan |
Gbajabiamila: 'I Told Him It Would Be Very Cowardly Of Me To Leave A Group Of 37 People' - Elliot Honourable Desmond Elliot, a lawmaker from Lagos State, has come clean about his role in the impeachment notice against Speaker Mudashiru Obasa. Elliot told Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila that it would have been courageous to stand by the 37 colleagues who had already signed the notice. In an interview with Channels TV, Elliot discussed the situation, explaining that he had warned the other person that it would be extremely courageous of him to lead a group of 37 people across the river without their support. You know, the president himself has declared that this issue is now moot. I find it strange that my leader is bringing this up now, given the current climate. The congressman for Surulere 1 made it clear that he still holds Gbajabiamila in high regard, calling him a leader whose advice he has always sought, especially when it came to important House issues and choices. Gbajabiamila did communicate with him during that period, he stated, but he never asked him to publicly announce that he is not involved in the impeachment move against Speaker Mudashiru Obasa https://news-af.feednews.com/news/detail/66c5a783a0bc94e118512f182c337ace?client=news |
Akpakomiza2:Funny how performance suddenly stopped mattering the moment it became Tinubu. Is Tinubu now a northerner? Or are you still hoping the Muslim-Muslim ticket magic from 2023 will work again? Anyway, 2027 is close. Reality has a delivery date. |
[quote author=yarimo post=139461635]Hehehe content creators una well done oo 🤣 🤣 [/quote As you dey create your own content for here |
givedemwotowoto:Don’t worry, he’ll soon come and tell you those people in the video don’t have PVCs and that Peter Obi only wins online. |
At this point, e reach to ask anybody campaigning for Tinubu whether the person dey mentally okay or whether shame no dey catch am at all. Because after everything Nigerians have gone through in the last three years under Tinubu, what exactly is the campaign message supposed to be? |
Akpakomiza2:You lie if you say Nasir El-Rufai played no role in delivering Tinubu 2023. Even Tinubu himself acknowledge his contribution in the early part of his administration. Agreed, he didn’t deliver his own state, but his influence across the North during that election was obvious. All these politicians you mentioned that you claim are still with Tinubu, can they actually deliver their states for him today? And more importantly, what exactly will they tell their people Tinubu has done to deserve another vote? Or are we now pretending Tinubu’s performance over the last three years won’t be a deciding factor in 2027? |
|
Svoboda:Thank you for schooling that fellow. They still think this is 2023, when Nasir El-Rufai and northern APC governors were galvanizing the North to vote for Tinubu. I asked him to mention just one notable northern APC leader or governor today who can mobilize the entire NW and NE for Tinubu the way they did in 2023. |
Akpakomiza2:Tinubu will split the NW and NE vote with Atiku? You think this is still 2023? Back then, Nasir El-Rufai and northern APC governors galvanized the NW and NE for Tinubu. Mention one notable northern APC figure today who can mobilize those regions for him the same way. You should read Deji Adeyanju’s submission on Tinubu’s current acceptability in the NW after his Sokoto visit |
Apcshit:Southern Votes must be divided |
You all will receive #500 to vote Tinubu come 2027 |
These are all the dividend of voting an APC government |
Airlord2030:Please stop this d**k measuring contest. This is serious issues |
Bluntemperor:I have always spoke your mind bro😁😁😁 |
Desmond Elliott should quit the crying and wailing. He needs to stop running his mouth like it’s infected with diarrhea and sounding like a broken record. After 12 years in the Lagos State House of Assembly, what else does he want? The same baba sope political patronage machine that lifted him up has now decided to lift someone else. He should simply go home and rest or better still, return to Nollywood. At least he has something to fall back on |
DomPerignon:You need it more DomPerignon because somehow it’s your opening rehab centers anytime Obi breathes. Imagine claiming to have won an election and still making one opposition politician your daily blood pressure monitor. That’s not relevance, that’s obsession |
Another worthless post from the Minister of Peter Obi affairs Peter Obi is giving DomPerignon serious nightmares |
Refinedbeing:You’re the one who abandoned him, threw him under, nobody else did. You vilified him, called him omo ale, and pushed one of the most toxic brands of tribal and ethnic politics this country has ever witnessed. You even questioned his Lagos roots when the Rhodes-Vivour family is well known and firmly established in Lagos history. Instead, you chose to believe the lies, propaganda, and misinformation peddled by the Baba Sope political machinery that has held Lagos hostage and captured its treasury for over two decades and counting. Ironically, the same people who sold those lies, falsehood and propaganda, questioning another man’s well established lineage cannot point to any known family history beyond merely bearing Yoruba names. |
Tinubu is mæd man He still hasn’t accounted for the trillions saved from subsidy removal, yet he’s busy lecturing Nigerians about paying more taxes for development. So where exactly is the subsidy removal money? Because Nigerians are already paying with inflated fuel prices, transport hikes, electricity tariffs, and unbearable living costs. The least this government can do is show transparent results instead of this talk of paying taxes |
Tax Without Accountability Is Ransom”- Dele Farotimi Blasts Government Over Tax Comment Dele Farotimi has criticized the government’s stance on taxation, arguing that citizens cannot be expected to trust a system that lacks accountability. His “tax without accountability is ransom” comment sparked intense debate online about governance and transparency in Nigeria. Human rights lawyer and activist Dele Farotimi has reacted to recent remarks attributed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu concerning taxation and national development. In a statement that has sparked debate online, Farotimi argued that government cannot expect citizens to willingly embrace taxation without demonstrating accountability and transparency in the use of public funds. According to him, demanding taxes from citizens while failing to account for how previous revenues were managed amounts to exploitation. “The President is speaking about how citizens should not demand development if they’re unwilling to pay tax but he ignored the fact that he cannot demand tax if he’s unwilling to be accountable,” he said. He further added: “If you’re not accountable to those you’re taxing, what you can tax is essentially a ransom.” His comments triggered widespread reactions on X (formerly Twitter), where many Nigerians debated the relationship between taxation, governance, and accountability https://www.gistlover.com/tax-without-accountability-is-ransom-dele-farotimi-blasts-government-over-tax-comment/ |
