I replied to someone that I do agree that the original ideology has been hijacked, but that doesn't mean we have to throw away the entire movement for the sake on the unreached who still need liberation and emacipation.

Demonizing feminism as a whole will only equate to throwing the baby away with the bath water.

Of cos I agree with u...I've conversed with reasonable feminists whose views on feminism is just to be treated fairly and not marginalised or seen as a 2nd fiddle to men...I would have called myself a feminist if they hadn't deviated from their main objective(equal rights and opportunity) lol

The Gender pay gap has been thrashed repeatedly by economists worth their salt!!..women always say there's a gender wage gap cos of gender bias...true there is a gender bias...but it accounts for a very small substrata of a multivariate analysis.. There are many reasons why there's a gap 1.PERSONALITY: d gr8est diff BTW men and women can be seen in neuroticism and agreeableness.. Women aren't as assertive as men when negotiating salaries so most tyms they settle for less...2.Biological clock..when a woman starts giving birth, its hard for her to pick up in her career cos her attention is divided..3..women don't pick S.T.E.M field courses...men dominate in STEM field courses and these courses generate high income..when men dominate in programming,eng etc women will dominate in courses like human kinetics,primary edu etc.....and also men are willing to go extreme for promotions,change locations, etc but a woman may not..all this affects d pay gap..so pls don't just day things without proof

Feminism and religion are mutually exclusive.. The holy books of mainstream religions reek of sexism towards women and male chauvinism!!!!... Feminism at its early stage was reasonable cos all they wanted was EQUAL OPPURTUNITY devoid of stigma and gender bias...but they've strayed from their original objective.. But does that mean the girl child shouldn't be treated fairly and given equal opportunity same as men??.. I stand with equal opportunity but I detest equality of outcome(new form of equality).....being submissive in a relationship should be symbiotic..IMHO.. Respect should be mutual,love shd be mutual, submission shd be mutual!!!
I don't subscribe to the socially constructed gender roles enforced by religion and society!...Emancipate urself from mental slavery!

Personally I don't hate gays but u gotta understand that RELIGION is d driving force behind homophobia cos in mainstream religion,the act is condemned explicitly....sofar the act is mutually agreed upon by two consenting adults IDGAF..but d problem I have with them is when they try to justify that homosexuality is natural.. Nah..I'm yet to see a concrete evidence that it is...hating on gays has a cataclysmic effect cos it'll lead to marginalisation of intersex ppl,trans,gender fluids etc...who are we to play God on a person's sexual orientation?

Hi guys I don't know if I'm doing the right thing so let me share my story..
I was emotionally scarred when I was 16 by a girl in sec sch,the feeling was mutual but when ppl found out abt our chemistry,she made it seem like I was forcing myself on her and begging for her attention which wasn't true..I cut ties with her..fast forward to 2020,now I'm 20 in 200lvl,I talk with girls but just a selected few..they call me a snub and an arrogant dude cos my default facial demeanor depicts such grin

..I'm always tempted to enter the dating world but then I remind myself that I barely have money..my devotion is tied to making money online and reading(recently I got hooked to psychology cos of Jordan Peterson)
...sometimes when I chat with female friends, they say I don't open up though I listen to them but I hardly say much abt my personal struggles,interests etc ..the thing is d kinda convo I wanna have is an intellectual one and most tyms this girls aren't interested...beginning to think I'm a sapiosexual cheesy
