Dead on arrival. Nigerians are no longer ready to put up with Islamists. Buhari's presidency has destroyed any hope of the Fulanis coming back to power in 2019. Fulanis are not the only people in the north. Nigeria are better off without a presidency that provides fodder for the land grabbing campaign of the Islamists. God forbid that this killings all over the country by the fulani militia would go unpunished.

Use the idling pensions funds to bankroll utilities which would in turn be money spinners creating additional wealth for the pensioners.

If you built a road upon which millions of travellers would be tolled via pensions funds I believe it would be a win win.

The idea would be to de-risk such funds ensuring a guarantee of returns on investment.
Please stop all that 'blah blah blah'. What have they been able to do with the extra monies they have been making from 50 naira stamp duty, and other tariff hikes. Stop coming here to speak textbook economics jargon that has never found relevance in Nigeria. We already have enough of such jargon from Adeosun while the economic recession continues to bite harder. They should just pack their bags and go rather than destroy what is left for the already battered and pauperized middle class. YOU APC THIEVES SHOULD LEAVE OUR PENSION ALONE!

Why didn't you separate religion from politics when you used your altar as a platform for Jonathan's campaign.

Though the things you said are right but it only makes you a fucking hypocrite and a damn bigot
Is your love for Buhari such that your are blind to the massacre of christians in southern kaduna under the watchful eye of Buhari and El-rufai who have been paying lip service to the entire issue? Are you not able to reason rationally just because you love Buhari? Has your love for him made you lose your sense of humanity? Let it be known to people like you that the day of reckoning will surely come when the souls of the dead who are crying for justice will surely get justice. People who allow ethnic and religious cleansing to happen under their watchful eyes never end well. Obviously, all the actors who have deliberately decided to aid this massacre due to their actions and in actions will not end well.

What is the fate of an ordinary citizen in Nigeria when those ones who are paid to protect us have become nightmares to us. Most times the perpetrators will walk scot free without any sanctions.
The police are simply following the example of Bubu in doing things extrajudicial. When the DSS are abusing the rights of the high and mighty without recourse to due process and Bubu's supporters are urging them on, why is it a surprise that other security agencies would not cherry pick from the large population of the vulnerable to abuse. The security agencies are raping and abusing women and girls across all the IDP camps.Nigeria has adopted the culture of anarchy and arbitrariness and it stems from the main 'Oga' at the top. So people, enjoy the new culture brought about by APC change.

you speak as if Nigeria is now America. Sir, things will never work that way with your perceived utopian rule of law. The corruption in Nigeria is so endemic that rule of law can never checkmate it. I'm in no support of either the DSS or the NJC, my sincere concern is in the sanitation of Nigeria. Our country is in dire need of purification from the nightmares of corruption. Those who steal never considered rule of law before doing so and therefore rule of law shouldn't be a stumbling block in preventing their prosecution. Which ever way forward, so far the quagmire of corruption is brought to a standstill.
Since you are averse to following the rule of law, then the DSS should get them shot immediately they receive petition against them. Why waste time trying to investigate the veracity of the petition against them? Why bother even taking them to court. The DSS should just shoot them. In consequence, why should the military respect the rule of law. Why not they just sack everybody and get us back to the days of decrees and martial law. Why do they have to respect the constitution is we are saying that we should do away with the rule of all. You see, those who are canvassing for the disobedience of the rule of law are far worse enemies of Nigeria. They are far worse than the most corrupt politicians in the land. Nigeria is not a jungle and those advocating for jungle justice should be careful in what they are wishing for.

so how do Nigeria move away from its endemic corruption, when some persons are perceived untouchables?
There is a process that ought to be followed. Abuse of the process is the worst form of corruption because it ultimately leads to a state of anarchy. The DSS has obviously flouted due process and has dug itself into a pit. The only way to go is to submit whatever evidence they have against these judges to the NJC who will determine is a credible case exists against the affected judges. If truly they have evidence against these judges, what is the difference between the NJC and a court where a Judge sits over. They are the same. The same way a court under the jurisdiction of a Judge would sit and examine the supposed evidence from the DSS is the same way the NJC would examine the same evidence. If truly the DSS has evidence against these Judges, they would have simply submitted it to the NJC alongside their petition. But you know what? I have a strong feeling that they don't have anything solid against these judges, and are only interested in getting the judges suspended over frivolous petitions. The NJC must be encouraged to stand its ground on this matter because doing otherwise is succumbing to the desire of anarchists and anti-democratic elements who want to bring down our democracy.

How can the government secure conviction when the judiciary is full of corrupt judges? The fight against corruption by the present government is not perfect but surely it is a right step in the right direction.
How can a corrupt executive claim to be interested in fighting corruption in the judiciary. Its like asking a group of armed robbers to protect a residential estate against another group of robbers. The executive must first cleanse itself by sacking all the corrupt elements within it. At least, they don't need the NA and Judiciary to effect this sack. After that is done, they would need to appoint only people who have no corruption petition pending with EFCC, ICPC etc. Next, they will need to strike a deal with the NA to get the necessary anti corruption legislation passed. When that is done, it becomes an effort in futility for any judge to engage in bribery and corruption because such ill gotten assets would be difficult to hide.

Which purging itself do you want it to do when it is doing exactly that. The fight against corruption is not going to be successful unless the corruption in the judiciary is dealt with.
Please stop all this noise making because we all know that Buhari is not interested in fighting any corruption. He is simply involved in a chain of illegal acts just to destroy the opposition against 2019. Media trial is not what fight against corruption is. Buhari has not been able to secure one single conviction despite all the noise being made. The judiciary is no less corrupt than the executive and legislative arm of government. If Buhari and the APC truly want to fight corruption, they should constructively engage the NA to bring about a change in our laws. We would need to amend the evidence act such as the burden of proof will now rest on the accused. We would also need to have a rigid asset forfeiture law which allows the government to seize whatever asset traced to any individual is and when that individual is unable to proof that such an asset was legitimately acquired. If Buhari was to pursue such laws, who do you think the biggest victims would be? Can the likes of Buhari, Tinubu, Fashola, Amaechi, Obasanjo, IBB, Abdusalam, Buratai, Dambazau etc truly prove that 80% of what they have today were legitimate earnings? So, stop coming here to exhibit self righteous hypocrisy because we all know that Buhari is not interested in fighting corruption. He is only trying to destroy the opposition against 2019 elections and he will surely fail by the special grace of God.

Let them begin to quote the law in the face of Buhari's desperation to sanitise Nigeria's mess.
Who will lead them to prison? Who will sit over the matter? Unfortunately for Buhari, we are not under a military regime where he would have used decrees to take away jurisdiction from the courts just like he did in 1984 using decrees 2, 4 etc.
Under the 1999 constitution, the courts have the final say on who is guilty or not guilty. Buhari and his uneducated supporters will have to live with it.

People like you typify all that is wrong with Nigeria. GEJ has contributed the most in terms of creation of legal and financial instruments presently being used in the fight against corruption. According to Buhari and APC, you are only a looter the day you speak against the government or refuse to do their bidding. This is obviously the reason they have not been able to secure any convictions despite all the media trials going on. The strategy they employ is to arrest, demonize and subject their political opponents to media trial before even starting investigation. No wonder all their corruption cases are stalled. They are uncomfortable when nigerians carryout peaceful protests. They just want everyone to remain docile while they destroy the country. Buhari and his APC underachievers know that time is running out on them and so would do everything possible to destroy the opposition against 2019. What they don't know is that God is ultimately in control and the wicked will never have peace of mind.

The IG of police, Attorney general of the federation, DSS and other child right activists in this country should tell us if Katsina state is no longer in Nigeria. They should also tell us whether the 1999 constitution is no longer operational. It smacks of sheer hypocrisy for us to be celebrating the return of 21 Chibok girls who Boko Haram kidnapped, forcibly converted to Islam and married off, while the same crime is being committed under the watchful eyes of all these state officials mentioned. Where is the hypocritical BBOG? Where is Pastor Osinbajo? Why can't we just be truthful to ourselves in this country. Are we in a zoo? Has the country been sold to dogs and baboons? Let us all be clear on this matter, the Emir of Katsina has committed a crime and must be brought to justice. Failure to do so will give credence to the arguments of secessionist forces in the SE and SS who maintain than we must restructure this country or go our separate ways. How can you suspend the constitution in Katsina state while trying to enforce it in other parts of the country. Buhari must quickly act on this matter to restore confidence of the entire country to the fact that the 1999 constitution remains supreme.

This is the most sensible comment I have seen on this tread. Most comments rejoicing over this issue have no clue as to the problem that has been created. BH has been told by the FG that the fastest way to get their members returned is to kidnap more girls from the soft targets that available all over the north east. It is common knowledge that the north east just like most parts of the country are underpoliced. Buhari has simply succeeded in incentivising thus whole kidnapping thing for BH and other criminal groups.
So, there is not much that should be celebrated because the government has simply succeeded in putting more girls in danger of suffering the same fate as the Chibok girls. My advice to all patents with girls in any boarding school, especially in the NE, should quickly withdraw them from such schools. Day schooling appears to be the most advisable option right now. God save Nigeria from what is coming.

The group has been outlawed and any procession embarked upon by them is an illegality. As such, security agencies can lawfully disperse them with minimal force.

I know you guys are wired to support anything and anyone having issues with the government of the day even though there is no sense in doing so.

Iran CANNOT DO ANYTHING TO NIGERIA under PMB. That much was told their president by Buhari himself the last time he tried to interfere.
The 1999 constitution guarantees freedom of worship, freedom of association as well as freedom of movement. Any law or announcement by any person that goes contrary to the provisions of the constitution is null and void. Let the government take them to court for associating under the IMN banner and let us see which court and under which basis the organisation would be declared as illegal. The government of the day is simply involved in extrajudicial killings which they will ultimately answer for. Everything El-rufai has done so far is purely illegal. It has been a further futile attempt at covering the massacre of innocent nigerians and the dumping of their bodies in mass graves. They know that the day of reckoning will surely come. The government hope that by continuing to persecute these people, they will cow them into dropping their demand for justice against the massacre.
