He's among the major financier of the pdp and got returns on his investment even at the detriment of the nation. Our primary reason for getting into this mess was because GEJ government stole the nation dry and made no investment or saved up for the rainy day. Your comment about GEJ being responsible for Nigeria's problem clearly shows that you were probably not born or were in your pampers when Obasanjo was military President, all the way to Abacha. Please, go and study the history of corruption and misrule in nigeria before coming here to advertise the fact that you are not well informed. |

After 2 years of purchasing a piece of land a friend have continued to build temporary buildings on the land and still waiting for his papers to perfect before he starts a full construction, and according to him he will wait no matter how long it takes.
His friends who have properties around his area have already built and moved into government lands, ( government acquisition) mocking him thinking he does not have money to build. Wisdom is really scarce.
But let me not forget to say that lagos state is not doing a good job about educating the public when it comes to regional planning at all. Question. Is demolition of businesses the best way for a government to act during a recession? Wisdom is needed here by the LASG. |

seunmsg: The ignorant congressman was probably prodded by an ipob member to write the above trash. Whatever the case may be, he has only given an opinion and not the reality on ground. Majority of Nigerians that voted for Buhari are happy with his effort so far at fighting corruption and eradicating the boko haram insurgency. A congress man in the US will not dictate to us how to go about fighting corruption or how to go about fighting terrorists. We have our country to protect and we will go about it our way.
Nigeria did not dictate to the US how to go about fighting terrorism after the 9/11 attacks. They invaded Iraq without any evidence of weapons of mass destruction and without the UN authorisation. They have committed unimaginable war crimes all over the world so, they are not in any position to lecture Nigeria on the morality or otherwise of how we fight corruption and secure our country. If the dasugate scandal is to happen in US, will the congressman be talking this same poo? Though I believe the Obama administration will definitely ignore the congress man's trashy letter, Nigerians need not to worry. If US refuse to sell weapons to us, we will buy from Russia and China. Then why are you asking them for weapons if you don't want them to dictate to you. Keep fooling yourself. |

searchiing4love: Fayose was wrong to enact such laws in the first place. The fulanis have the right to live and work in ekiti just like every other Nigerian. Why ban their business of cattle rearing when they have no other means? Why criminalize the fulanis as if all fulanis are killers? There are bad eggs amongst every tribe, why do we make it look like violence is exclusive to northerners only. The people we should frown at are cattle rustlers who steals cattle from fulanis and use them as disguise for their evil deeds. The fulanis are peaceful people who go about their business in peace and we all know they control their herds of cattle with mere sticks. Even though we call them primitive, how many southerner can rear cattle for national consumption like the fulanis? Without them how do we see beef to consume? The rustlers are armed terrorist escaping from the north east to the south. What fayose should have done is to forbid any herdsmen from moving around with weapons, not banning cattle rearing completely. If all states cooperated with the FG on creation of grazing reserves throughout the country, there will not be a single cattle left on the streets looking for grass. Instead we chastised president Buhari's brilliant policy in the name of islamization. The ripple effects are the incessant attacks by the rustlers. The grazing bill remains the best and safest option. Not unnecessary bans The 1999 constitution guarantees the free movements of nigerians within any part of the country but not the free movement of cattle. Cattle are not human beings and can never be. In addition, the movement with obviously unlicnesed weapons is a criminal offense. ACF and people like you who keep talking about grazing bill are really fooling yourselves. Nigerians know that the so-called grazing bill is jost a ploy to grab peoples lands and that will never happen. Thumbs up for Fayose. Other governors should quickly enact similar laws because the law is 100% constitutional. |

It's up to buhari. Economy is dying, he can finally decide to murder it completely or at least continue with present hardship and excessive tax on poor, powerless citizens. Unfortunately, SS / SE oil production account for more than 97% oil production in Nigeria. If communities revolt, it'll no longer be avengers. You get something worse, they can decide to stop production in their communities indefinitely, and FG can do nothing. Ogoni has been doing that, and nothing has happened. He went to try to save Bubu from himself by advising him against pressing the self-destruct button. His childish followers are trying to push him into throwing Nigeria into further crisis. Abdusalam went to remind him of the dire consequences of such a senseless move. It remains to be seen if the unschooled guy will exhibit some form of reason by desisting from making that grave mistakes. Nigerians have suffered enough and can't afford further sufferings emanating from Bubu's penchant for vendetta. |

Bolustic: Ekweremadu and PDP trying to reap from where they didn't sow.
To those calling for the heads of the APC leaders, can they mention at any time in the history of this 16 years democracy when PDP had allowed the opposition to occupy the position of a CHIEF WHIP in both chambers let alone Deputy Senate President?
So PDP now knows how it feels to be out of power completely.
Unfortunately, the Igbos don't even have anything meaningful to show for Ekweremadu's occupation of the DSP for the 9th year running, I thought as the head of the Constitutional ammendment committee, he could have pressured the Senate on the need for the 6th state in the SE bit no!!! I guess that the removal of Ekweremadu is the magic wand that would turn the economy around as well as create that eldorado that the zombies were promised during the campaigns. I guess the removal of Ekweremadu will restore the exchange rate to below 200 naira to a dollar which Buhari inherited as well as reduce inflation to single digit which was what Buhari inherited. It is now clear to Nigerians that the APC government are nothing other than a bunch of jokers with little or no interest in focusing on the business of moving Nigeria forward. They are only interested in chasing after shadows and fighting against imaginary enemies. |

For those who are so brainwashed to contemplate voting for APC in 2019, they should know that cows are more important to APC than their lives. The people of the middle belt who voted for APC are well aware of this reality today. All the security apparatus of the country are under the control of the hausa/fulani.Nigeria is effectively under the occupation of the hausa/fulani. It will only take the act of God to deliver this country from these eevil forces. The shedding of blood means nothing to them as long as they are on the path of fulfilling the northernization and islamization agenda of Uthman Dan Fodio. All the middlebelt people that voted for this eevil change are the worst hit by this land grabbing campaign. phemmyutd: A Governor without Deputy Governor, no functioning house of Assembly, so who is he handing over the leadership of the state to? Maybe commissioner of Police The question is 'does the president have the constitutional powers to stop a sitting governor from travelling'. That is the pertinent question this whole issue if true, is raising. It is important to note that the unrestrained exercise of power is the classical definition on tyranny. If the President has overstepped his boundaries, that is clearly a ground for impeachment of the President. Can someone take an oath with the Koran to abide by the provisions of the 1999 constitution during the swearing in exercise, and then turn around less than 14 months into his tenure to start denigrating the constitution which is the only basis for him to be in Aso-Rock. Would the President claim not to know what was in the constitution when he was taking his oath of office? It is important for the national assembly and judiciary to synergize in rising up to their responsibilities in the defense of our constitutional democracy before anarchy becomes the order of the day. |

Mztarstrechy: So why didnt they blow it during GEJ's regime? They were simply observing a moratorium of peace due to GEJ and one part of the country took that peace for granted by not only promising to make he country ungovernable, but actually implementing the threat. Unfortunately for the rest of the country, the owners of the resources are no longer interested in amnesty, rather they want full control of their resources. Bubu is deploying the military option which ultimately will cause a near complete destruction of our oil and gas assets. When that has been done, then the issue of sitting down to discuss the basis for our union would be a belated request because their may not be any union to discuss about. This is why every right thinking person should advise Bubu to either implement the confab report, or set in motion a process for the immediate restructuring of the country along the lines of true federalism. The north has so far been opposed to any form of restructuring because they remain the biggest beneficiaries of this abnormal system. They should however know that throughout human history, those who are averse to change have always had change inevitably forced on them. The ND avengers and other self determination groups are bringing about that forceful change. This is why all men and women of goodwill should impress upon Bubu to arrest this drift by setting up the process for this urgently needed restructuring. |
