The North got the chance again and presently rules for 4yrs, hoping to rule for another 4yrs. While Buhari and his supporters are busy showing their 4+4 signs, the Northern council of elders is busy considering 4+4+4 options. Buhari has ruled for 4yrs, with obvious failure even to the blind and deaf. So, it's not far-fetched to think the North would rather throw their support for Atiku in order to rule the country for 4(Buhari)+4(Atiku)+4(Atiku).

The constitution defines the boundary of his power just like it does for the military for which the constitution does not permit to organise coup against the constitutional order. If a President decides to abuse the constitution by organising a coup against another arm of government, what stops the military or even renegade elements within it from doing same? This is the reason nobody should be encouraging anarchical action by any arm of government because it can open the door to unpredictable outcomes. The mandate given to the president does not authorize such an action from him, hence the quick retracing of their step when there was nationwide public outcry against such a treasonous action.

I guess the governors are supposed to improve the economy by over taxing the already shaky businesses within their domain through numerous, dubious environmental taxes, resulting in the closure of those businesses with the increased unemployed waiting on the queue to join the state civil service. I guess the governors will now continue to carry on this way until state after state will start declaring bankruptcy. The biggest problem Nigeria has at the moment is having a bunch of individuals who are not solutions to the economic problems of the country, but are the problems themselves. Restructuring remains the way forward to free up all the potentials that have been locked up through the obnoxious exclusive list in the defective 1999 constitution. Nigerians are better off with the candidate who has committed to restructuring the country to truly make it productive, and not PMB and his co travellers are just are adept at 'mouthing' productivity. Atiku has the solution and that is why PMB is on his way out.

Buhari just confirmed that he is against free and fair elections, and the fact that his government has not done enough to deserve being re-elected. This is the time for the entire country to rally round the NA in vetoing the president on this bill.

They should ask Sharia to bring in the necessary investments that would create jobs. Very soon, the only thing that would be done with the ever reducing federal allocation is the payment of salaries. This was one of the states created for the sole purpose of getting more share of the national cake which unfortunately is under steady decline. These are one of the major opponents of restructuring because they exists just for the sharing of national cake. I predict these kind of states to go bankrupt within the next 10 years.

They cannot get both SGF and Chief of Staff position because they are not the only region in Nigeria. The SGF position is already okay for them, after all, other regions also have to be accommodated. Greed and selfishness is the only motivation behind the demand for the position of SGF, Attorney-general of the federation and Chief of Staff. Why didn't they also add the service chiefs plus head of service to it. Very self centered demands.

If Buhari wants to fix corruption to an extent he needs to fix the procurement process and institute the procurement council so that the fec can stop awarding contracts. The easiest way to steal money in government at all levels is through abuse of the procurement process. Buhari should look beyond being Mr integrity and be innovative in his fight against corruption. Integrity of the president won't end corruption. The TSA implementation was a good place to start but it you read the allegations against Usman you will know the procurement process in government has been soiled and it happens in all government agencies
