ononujuchika:Ajaero's face looks like the face of a man that has been fully settled. Shameless people. |
Keneking:For people like you, the so-called war against corruption is nothing other than an ego trip. Its just an opportunity to get back at perceived political enemies. |
EasternLeopard:I hope they are not just arresting innocent people indiscriminately all in the name of media propaganda. This is because we haven't forgetten that the security forces in the war against BH has killed Abubakar Shekau many times while the guy continues to shoot and release his propaganda videos. The nigerian security forces should learn to speak less and do more. We would only believe them when the bombings have stopped, coupled with the almost weekly release of statements from the group. |
SirExperience:This is part of the reason the national assembly needs to amend the constitution to separate the office of the Attorney-general of the federation from that of the minister of justice. The office of the Attorney-general of the federation and those of states should be independent of the executive arm of government as obtains in a true presidential system of government. If we had that in nigeria, we would not have to put up with this trash from the APC appointed mouthpiece. |
chriskosherbal:You obviously are not the one paying your bills. |
opyzy:While Bubu prepares for international arrest warrant and ICC prosecution. |
agabusta:So EFCC, DSS and fulani herdsmen have become a tool for dealing with anybody who this government does not like. Nigeria is quickly sliding into anarchy and people are quickly losing confidence in the system. Every good student of history understands what follows when people lose confidence in the system. Anarchy is looming. Time will tell. |
Gayigaskia:Go back to the south and keep their resources and form their new country while your types go back to the north and face the ravaging desert encroachment which is the price to pay for all the decades of bloodshed committed against other ethnic groups. |
EasternLeopard:He has gone to charge his phone as well as find the voice to issue statements against the ND militants. |
DaBullIT:I hope those Buhari's bombs would be smart enough to bomb only the militants while leaving out the web of oil and gas pipelines running across the theater of war. Try to be more intelligent in your posts. |
TheArchangel:Omenka is entitled to hate whoever he so chooses and love whoever he so chooses just like the Igbos as well. The important thing is that Buhari should do what he has been supposedly elected to do which includes protection of lives and property of ALL nigerians without ethnic or religious bias. Unfortunately, it is increasingly getting clear that he is not doing his job. The natural response of people who have lost confidence in the government is to resort to self help which ultimately leads to anarchy. This is why all truly peace loving people should mount pressure on Buhari to avert this impending breakdown of law and order. Buhari is foolishly making Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB ideas very desirable for a lot of people who hitherto where not interested in that project. Common sense demands that Buhari desists from whatever hidden hausa/fulani agenda which is playing out through this massacres, because nigeria would rather break up into a thousand pieces than for people to give up their lands to the hausa/fulani land grabbers. The fulani militants who carried out these latest attacks must be fished out and punished along with the collaborators and sponsors, else the quest for retaliation and vengeance by the aggrieved will not stop. A word is enough for the wise. |
shamecurls:What of the arms with the civilain JTF in the NE fighting BH. The best deterrence is to arm local vigilantes across the entire SE and SS to provide community level security, this will ensure that this madness will be curtailed. |
SleekAboki:The right to self defense and preservation is non-negotiable, so telling people not to arm themselves is simply being hypocritical. If the fulani herdsmen knew that the people were fully armed, waiting for them, that attack wouldn't have taken place. That is plain commonsense. The truth of the matter is that people have lost faith in the DSS and other security forces and are going to resort to self help. When the government of the day whose responsibility is to maintain law and order decides to not only abdicate its responsibility to the people, but is also perceived to be in collusion with the assailants, the people will do all it takes to protect themselves. This is in line with the law of natural justice irrespective to what people like you think about. |
SleekAboki:He will disarm them just as he has quickly disarmed the militants blowing up the pipelines almost on a weekly basis. It is in the best interest of Buhari to ensure that the DSS and other security forces live up to their responsibilities of protecting lives and property of ALL nigerians rather than pushing people to adopt self help. African countries that threaded such paths know better than to make its citizens to resort to self help. Buhari should act immediately to restore the confidence of all nigerians in the DSS and other security forces because continuing to do otherwise is an obvious invitation to anarchy. |
SleekAboki:If each community have well armed vigilantes, and you know how secure our land borders are and the ease with which things can move, I'm sure Buhari and his militants will have a rethink about coming to grab peoples lands. A well armed local vigilante force existing in all communities in the south are the best deterrence to stopping these mass murderers. |
chinchum:This is a wake-up call for all the farming communities to form local vigilantes just like you have the civilain JTF in the NE battling BH. These local vigilantes should be coordinated by the various state governments with a clear mandate to protect their lives and property against Fulani militia who are obviously receiving logistics support from the already compromised DSS and other security agencies. |
OgaTheTop2:Nigerians are not being fooled with all these unimportant news whose aim is only to divert attention. The most important issue is BUHARI FULANI militants who are on a land grabbing campaign across the middle belt, SE and SS. That is the most important issue, quickly followed by the power and fuel crisis. What we have is an inept and grossly incompetent regime whose only agenda is to grab the lands and resources in the south and impose sharia across the entire country. So, stop all these propaganda stories around a supposed fight against corruption because majority of Nigerians know that there is no fight against corruption. |
slam7000:You are very correct. All the communities in the south-east and south-south should form vigilantes and fully arm themselves just as they have in the north-east in response to BH. The people should be allowed to provide their own security and not depend on the Fulani infested DSS and other security agencies. The right to self defense is an inalienable right irrespective of what the Fulani run federal government want the rest of us to believe. This is a clarion call the all the south-east and south-south states to set up a well coordinated regional vigilante force, well equipped to face the challenges posed by these Islamists and Land grabbers from Futa Jalon. The time to act is now. |
Abagworo:Don't you think that the best solution is for these so-called millions of Igbos be allowed to go and form their own country. Don't you think that this Buhari militants are making it easier for IPOB to achieve its agitations. The army should create accommodation for all the Fulanis in the southeast because they will need to watch over their backs from now onward till the perpetrators of these heinous crimes are immediately brought to justice. Don't you think that Buhari is so daft as to think that his militia can grab peoples lands and not expect reprisals. Buhari is simply encouraging the formation of more ethnic militias all over the country because he has succeeded in destroying the DSS and the other security agencies. Nigeria is sitting on a time bomb set by an inept regime that has only succeeded in taking nigeria 40 years backward. |
gloire27:Buhari will not be President forever, he only has less than 3 years to go. |
CastedDude:Buhari puts Nnamdi Kanu in cuffs while his Fulani militia continues to massacre nigerians with the DSS and other security agencies providing them security cover. Buhari should come clean with what is his agenda with this fulani militia. Why is the DSS and other security agencies allowing this militia to massacre nigerians without allowing the victims to defend themselves. This APC government is encouraging people to form their own militia which is the only natural course of action when the government of the day decides to willfully abdicate its responsibility of protecting the lives and property of all nigerians. |
rowels:They should rather be protesting against the hausa/fulani massacre ongoing across the middle-belt and south, than going to protest over an irrelevant issue. It is better to live in a supposed corrupt country than a country with zero regards for lives and property, where hausa/fulani militants are committing genocide under the watchful eyes of a so-called anti-corrupt government. Buhari and the various heads of the security agencies will one-day face the ICC for their roles in the massacres going on today. There is no peace for this wicked 'supporter of APC' government. |
Lilimax:We know what they are up to. They are involved in Islamization/Land grabbing campaign to take over the entire south-south and south-east where they feel they face the stiffest opposition to their Islamization/Land grabbing project. The feel that the south-west is a far easier prospect for them since there has never been much difference between a yoruba christian and yoruba moslem. They feel that they have plenty 'neo-Afonjas' who would be willing without raising a finger to handover the entire south-west to them. They do not respect the 1999 constitution and only make reference to it when it favors them. An example can be seen in the appointments into the various security agencies. That is why only the Hausa/Fulani are heading all the key security apparatus in the country. As nigeria stands today, they are confident that they are holding everybody to ransom. What should our response be? We should quickly organize ourselves and demand the immediate convocation of a sovereign national conference to determine if Nigeria should remain one. The agitation by all the groups agitating for self determination should be increased and relentless pressure mounted on the central government. There should be mass movement across the entire country against this hausa/fulani invasion with the minimum demand that all the sponsors of these massacres be brought to justice. The time to act is now. |
adajiboyy:Even Abacha with all the evill he perpetrated is still a saint compared with this 'pure evill' called Buhari. He will not end well unless he immediately retraces his steps. This Islamization/Land grabbing campaign by Buhari's militants will surely fail. Nigeria will rather break up into a thousand pieces than the people of the SS and SE to give up their lands to the hausa/fulani marauders. |
Fmartin:Lai Mohammed should also be there to really confirm to nigerians that BH has been technically defeated. After that, Buhari should go there and provide morale booster to the troops just as GEJ did. |
Mayor21:Buhari and his fulani militants are itching for another civil war. They would be shocked with what can happen very quickly if war breaks out. Saudi backing will not be enough to protect them if and when that war breaks out. The time for all peace loving people across the world to speak to Buhari is now. Buhari should call his militants to order because the clock is ticking. |
macfarland:Buhari and his hausa/fulani brothers are trying to precipitate another civil war whose sole aim is to grab territories in the entire south, declare and Islamic caliphate, and lay claim to the oil and gas deposits in the gulf of guinea. All these under the tacit support of Saudi Arabia. What do we do as a people under threat? We must make contingency plans to be able to arm and defend ourselves when this ethno-religious war breaks out. This has always been part of the APC hidden agenda from day one. Nigerians were just scammed with the so-called war against corruption to divert attention from all this. Nigeria made a big mistake the day they allowed Buhari to become president. It is not late to correct this mistake by ensuring that every imaginable pressure is made to bear on this evill regime. Eqypt made a mistake with Morsi and corrected it, nigerians should rise and demand that every constitutional means be applied to correct this mistake. The national assembly should immediately begin impeachment proceedings against Buhari for willfully abdicating his responsibility to protect nigerians across ethnic and religious divide. This was an oath he took, and since he has reneged on it, he should be kicked out by the national assembly. The International community should quickly wade into this issue before another 'Rwanda' plays out in nigeria. The humanitarian crisis that will erupt if nigeria is to go into another civil war is unimaginable. This is the time to call the Islamists and the Hausa/Fulani land grabbers to order. Nigeria will rather break into pieces, than for the south south and south east to give up their territories to these Buhari sponsored Islamists and Land grabbers. The time for decisive action by all peace-loving people is now. |
klassicview:I've never heard anything more stupid than this statement from from the Information minister-turned lying minister. Utter rubbish. |
ElCount:Amen. |
BeeBeeOoh:Where is the DSS with their stupid statements. How many Igbos have been killed? I hope they will remain quiet by the time the the Igbos carryout reprisal attacks. |
joborskill:And what of the person who said that Abacha was not corrupt? I guess he should not be purnished, but eulogised as 'Mr Integrity'. You are so unserious. |
skyman200:ICC awaits Buhari and the COAS. It may be delayed, but they will never escape it. |

MAY GOD PUNISH SARAKI AND GEJ FOR THIER MASSIVE LOOTING
