I will not waste my time on you. Like I said, you collect cars and sublet it to another mechanic to do the job because you do not know what you claim to know. If anyone decides to try you out after this warning, that is not my problem A word is enough for the wise. mrcoolautofix: You have lots of energy to defend what you don't know, you don't know me or what I am capable of, I can't believe you had to spam everyone under my thread to make your false claims. You really do deserve being thrown into jail for stepping on the wrong toe, the internet is free space to market yourself. Your level of draftees is just so overwhelming that you couldn't do something good for yourself but sends torrents of warning to mislead people.. you will get caught up on this one day.. ride on |

because your brother does not call you on phone does not mean that he hates you. some people don't open up easily even if you give them your millions, that does not mean they hate you. do not allow evil thoughts to creep into your mind because of nothing. i will advice you to call your brother to visit you on holidays or weekends , that will increase the bond between you guys and open up more avenue for you know him better. Vikto17: My immediate younger Brother seems not to like me!! It is obvious from his actions and in actions a,, This was a boy l paid his first Jamb form , bought his first phone and is planning to help sponsor him through the university,, He will never use his phone to call me, will never open up to me about anything going on in his life,, Even a birthday wish on social media he won't do it, yet he does it for others ... I have live long enough on this earth to understand Blood is not thicker than water,, Families are those who love and care for you and not Just blood relationship.. He have the right to choose who he want to relate with, l also feel like l should be careful on how l spend money on a hater,,, I want to withdraw every financial support l have towards him and invest it on my other siblings who values their Elder brother,, just don't know how to handle my mother emotional manipulations... Please any one in this situation how have u handled it? Besides l have spoken to him severally about this!! |

EchoEnigma: Do you repair Toyota Corolla 2004 transmissions? The mechanic who initially worked on it thought it was the valve body, but the problem is still happening. After driving for a while, or even stopping at a traffic light, it becomes difficult to shift out of first gear and accelerate. The engine revs loudly without fully engaging. Can I get your number? |

who made dollar the universally accepted currency for trading in any country? is only in Africa that we see these things happen. even in some African countries they don't do it, they use their local currency. in other countries of the world , they have their currency and they use it to trade locally. yes, you can pay equivalent anywhere in the world. but you don't use another man's currency to trade in your own country .. SSpeter: ...and oil companies in Nigeria Should also remit Naira? |

you have raised a very vital point. everyone is watching..
Nigerian Customs cannot be collecting duties and levies in dollars, its a big crime ..
but with this directive ,lets see what happens.

The truth is that much of this dollar that is scarce now is being withhold and hidden by some wicked set of people in Nigeria.( politicians inclusive) they are not spending the hidden dollar because there is no need to spend the excess dollar but they just prefer to hide it and wait for the worst to happen to their mother land. there is no amount of transactions done by genuine people that will finish the reserve …the National reserve is being finished and emptied by people we all know. Cmanforall: I get your point.
But let's view it from this angle. If foreigners (foreign companies) buy much from us (and pay in dollar), there would be more foreign 'currencies' to be used to cushion the effect of the dollar being paid by banks for your naira transactions abroad (with naira card), without much depletion of the foreign reserves. Thus, Nigerian government should encourage and implement easier ways for exportation. That way, someone abroad can easily buy things from Nigeria, even online, and it will be delivered to them. The 'foreigner' pays in foreign currency, while the Nigerian gets paid in Naira |

Cmanforall: I think this your last point may have some negative effects on Nigeria's foreign reserve. Nevertheless, variations should be considered I don't think so, Sir. Anyway, I am not an economist nor a financial speculator, so these are honest views of an average Nigerian business man who has observed things for a long time in Nigerian economic space . I strongly believe these points if implemented will go a long way in solving naira freefall wahala. |

This is a great move if sustained.
Anyone against this decision don't actually know what he or she wants for Nigeria.
Another one should be mandate banks to start serving their customers with foreign transaction needs without asking them to buy dollar from BDC .
Open up all blocked channels so that customers can pay equivalent with their naira cards. |
Business › Re: What Do You Think Should Be Done To Appreciate Naira ? by Ogeneigbo1: 2:26pm On May 09, 2024 |
What I think Nigerian Government should do is to mandate all banks to start processing foreign transaction in naira ,then pay the equivalent to the receiver in receivers currency.
This will reduce the rush for physical dollar and people will no longer go to BDC to buy dollar since they know that their banks will serve them, this will reduce the pressure on naira too.
Be it school fees , payment of goods and services, let the bank deduct the equivalent which must be at CBN rate from sender's naira account simple.
CBN will now deal with bank directly on any FX matter instead of selling to the General bidders.
This how it is done all over the world. You handle see them sourcing for foreign currency to pay for their transaction, the transaction is done and equivalent transfered to the receiver.
This might not solve all the problems but it's a good step in the right direction. |
Events › Re: My Dead Friend's Funeral Is Causing Problems by Ogeneigbo1: 11:04am On Apr 09, 2024 |
shortgun: Tragically we lost a close friend to the cold hands of death who passed away in a ghastly motor accident. He was in his late thirties to early forties, unmarried, no child, and a Christian from the North west.
In solidarity, we his friends, proposed to hold a formal wake keep for him at his Abuja residence and promptly began the preparation process. This included securing the services of a DJ and arranging refreshments for the gathering.
Certain members of his family objected to the idea of the wake keep, contending that it was inappropriate for us to engage in partying and funfair following the untimely passing of their loved one. They insisted we limit the gathering to just a public address system and a choir to sing, nothing more.
Some of our friends are threatening to hands-off and withdraw their involvement from everything about the funeral including not attending the burial and allow the family members do whatever that pleases them. Others are of the opinion that we should ignore the family members and go ahead with our plans since we are going to be paying respect to our late friend and not members of his family. What do you guys think? You and your circle of friends must adhere strictly to the wishes and burial instructions from the family members no matter "how much" your circle of friends think they will contribute to the success of the burial, if you guys do otherwise, then the dead young man never had any friend or friends when he was alive. |
