Imagine leaving the bush to town to realise that your monthly salary cannot cover your transportation fare to see your family and return.
Did he insult the military or even the government? The culture of imposed silence and fear of expression in the army is demonic and I think the Nigerian Army deserve what they are being paid. You all should continue to suppress each other's voices. Wetin concern us?

Also, I don't know where you come from, but I believe that those in Southern Nigeria have more independent minds than those in the core Muslim North, probably because of education.

So, the essence of that merger is for governors and other influential politicians to campaign for their presidential candidate in their respective states. This is what we call structure in Nigeria and it is still effective in Nigeria's North, which even have more interest in voting than the South.

Besides, the structures will protect the votes of their parties across their states as they are expected to deliver their areas of influence. Imagine how Wike upturned Rivers' votes and went scot-free. Going forward, that won't happen because Fubara will be on ground to protect the votes coming from his state.

This is the only way the opposition can win the presidential election and save this sinking ship. If not, APC will keep switching the presidency between the North and South, and the worst among us will take turns to destroy the country while their urchins come online to defend them, gaslight people and tribalize everything.
