Autos / Re: Automatic Gearbox Doctor; Before Replacing Your Gearbox Contact Us Now by oginga: 3:46pm On Apr 15
Good evening sir,
Please what can I do to a car that doesn't go past 100km no matter the acceleration!
I was told to change the gearbox which I have done but the problem still persist.
The engine of the said car is perfectly ok but I strongly believe the problem is from/the gearbox.
The concerned car is a Mercedes Benz ML 350, Any suggestion sir ?.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Update!!!! Should I Escalate Or cover them Up by oginga: 4:52pm On Mar 30
Do your job as expected of you sir.
Just imagine if you are/were the one at the receiving end, will they pardon or give you second chance?
If your answer is no, then pull the trigger as fast and strong as you can... Some people don't deserve second chance because if you do then its like giving them extra ammunition to strike and crush you completely.
Having said that, if you cover them up and someone finds out the truth you will all be painted black with same brush.
All the best sir.
Travel / Re: Why Do Nigerian Airports Staff Always Beg For Money by oginga: 12:38pm On Mar 27
This begging of a thing is bad and doesn't speak well of our government and worker salaries.
They should do something about it as fast as they can.
International airports are Gateways to most nations and whatever impression portrayed may last a lifetime in the heart of a visitor.

Autos / Re: Numerous Ways Fuel Attendants In Nigeria Cheat On Motorist by oginga: 2:12pm On Feb 25
Most fuel attendants are cheats.
That was how one almost scammed me all the name of selling fuel to me.
I drove back to the gas station to complain and their manager got things sorted out amicably. Though that was after I blocked their entrance for almost an hour.

Autos / Re: What Do You Think About This Car For This Cheap Price by oginga: 11:21am On Feb 09
It's a nice clean car... If the owner is selling so as to upgrade or due to financial issues then go for it bro, but confirm if custom paper is genuine and if there are things to fix.
Good luck! .

Romance / Re: I Engaged My Girlfriend, Now I Am Thinking Of Calling Off The Engagement by oginga: 4:26pm On Jan 15
@ OP. That's a red flag that you should not ignore, she's been bonking the said guy big time.
Dump the public dog as fast as you can before you fall into deep sh**t... Cheats never change, they only improve on covering their tracks.
Forget love bro, think of your peace of mind, your mental health and sanity, your life as an individual person.
You can go on and marry a coded prostitute, which may end up bringing an illegitimate child into your house and life. That's if you don't die before your time... All the best bro! .

Business / Re: Difficulty Sending Money To Someone"s Account In Nigeria by oginga: 1:29pm On Jan 08
The problem is from Nigeria and new CBN policy. Before now I normally transfer from my foreign account to my Nigeria account via Azimo and the funds gets home within 45 minutes. At the moment sending money to Nigeria is a problem. Nigerian government always making things tough for people.

Car Talk / Re: I was Locked up, Extorted And Harrassed By Police In Aba Over Lagos Number Plate by oginga: 4:13pm On Dec 30, 2020
@ op, sorry for what happened to you and your lovely family.
Those police men scammed you big time.
Report the issue to the IGP'S office Abuja in form of petition through your Lawyer, put your state commissioner of police in CC.
Since you are based in Lagos and the said car was registered in Lagos, send copies of your report/petition to the governor's office, Lagos state commissioner of police and Amnesty International.
Note... Don't go there in person, use DHL to deliver all your petitions and make sure they send acknowledgement letter back to you via your lawyer.
Like someone said earlier, tweet out your report and tag appropriate authorities in your post.
Good luck! .

Car Talk / Re: Mercedes Benz 2003 C270 for sale Direct from Germany Diesel. by oginga: 5:51pm On Dec 27, 2020
Cars with diesel engines are the deal, they are durable, strong and good for long distance travelling... I am talking from experience because our company cars are diesel engine powered.
The BMW X3 amongst the fleet have done over four hundred thousand kilometres and still counting.
God's willing by middle of next year when they auction some of them, I will buy one and keep as a back-up car since I know the service history.
One thing I noticed is that Nigerian mechanics don't know how to fix some certain types of cars, mostly German cars powered by diesel engines.

Nairaland / General / Re: Is Buying A Car An Achievement? by oginga: 11:44pm On Dec 16, 2020
To some owning a car is an achievement, while others see it as mobility.
For me I see owning a house as a better achievement than a car.
Even if a house get burnt, the land will always be there for rebuilding but a car can easily go out of fashion or be stolen.
Romance / Re: What I Noticed In A Man I Met Recently. by oginga: 7:59pm On Dec 14, 2020
@ OP, looking good is a serious business and must be part of your daily routine.
Like they say "you will be addressed the way you dress".
Always wear nice shoes, nice wristwatch, nice clothes, smell nice and if you are financially stable drive a good looking car, talk less and listen more.
If you can maintain all the aforementioned qualities, you will command respect.

As far as some Nigerians and giving are concern, they will abuse the kind gesture towards them.
The feeling is truly embarrassing.
I hate stupid sense of entitlement from some people.
The best is not to give at all
