If you are considering the inline 4, the 2010 Camry is your best bet. More powerful and much more reliable engine( 2.5L engine as against the 2.4) 6speed automatic compared to the 5 speed of the i4 of the 2009 and below. Better sound insulation.

For the V6 I would recommend 2009-up. To avoid the notable 3-4 shift flares of the 2007 models and also stick acceleration pedals.

What's wrong with the 2008 V6?

The V6 is the 2GR-FE, yes. Very underrated engine. It's rock solid and Toyota still uses it till date. Do basic maintenance and it'll live forever.

ok bro. I will consider this. I have experience, sweet experience with it in the Toyota Avalon. It's a fantastic engine. As long as the 08 Camry V6 isn't prone to issues like transmission issues and oil shortage experienced in its i4 counterpart, I will surely buy it. Thanks.(please explain if there is any link)

It's my first personal car. I am not new to vehicle usage and maintenance. But I don't like the feeling of driving something I know is prone to failure at some point not to talk of having it as my car, I go hard on the gas pedal atimes, I abuse vehicles atimes. I drove German(Benz) for a while, so it taught me some bad habits.

Guys, is the oil consumption issue in the 2009 Toyota Camry really something to worry about? From my research, I can see it occurs more in the 2az - Fe engine than the 2ar - Fe engine. The 2010 4 Cylinders Toyota Camry seems out of reach for now cos of my budget so I am considering the 2009. Can anyone advise? Or shed more light on this issue?

get the alternatives: Toyota Corolla (2003-07), Honda accord (2005-07 4 cylinder), Toyota camry 4 cylinder (2002-06), Hyundai elantra US spec 2007-09, Honda Civic 2006-08.

You do not need to start your car experience with tears. Trust me.

What about 2008 -2010 Toyota Camry as a first car.

I'm 32yrs but still unmarried, not because I don't like to or because of money but I just have constant concerns, worries, and fears.

I have been in relationships severally where we both love, respect and care for each other; but I call it off every time it was getting really serious, not because of any grievous issue in particular (because nobody is perfect) but just because of worries and fear of the unknown.

Some of the worries I have are things like:
- Would I still like her in the near future after locking it down with her in marriage?
- Am I sure I have considered all my chances?
- Am I sure I won't regret my choice or find a better choice tomorrow?
- Am I sure this is the right person for me?
- Am I sure I'm not walking into misfortune with my two eyes open?
- Am I sure I'm done a balanced analysis in making a choice or just looking at one side?

Some people think I don't like marriage or that I'm just flexing, but these fears and concerns make me develop cold feet whenever a relationship I'm in start getting serious. These fears and doubt are real.

So guys, what were your fears and concerns before getting married and how did it turn out after been married.

I am not married but i pray to before I hit 32. Truth is, your fears are genuine and your concerns are real. Most people have had this fear before marriage, atimes it's called 'cold feet' wherein a little pep talk will do the trick. And at other times, they are very real fears that are based most likely on the relationship.

At any rate, I would advice that you define your relationship and the basis for which you consider someone a suitable partner. I am not saying you should have rigid standards, no, not all. However, it will make plenty sense if you define why you want to get married and make sure whoever you are engaged to agrees to them. Amos 3:3 reads " can two walk together except they agree"?
