For backstabbing the president and his party tho, you can be sure of a silent murder of saraki's political career...QUOTE ME like how tawabwal career was silently murdered |

ndcide: What I hate about this thread are;
1, Omenka still thinks APC is in a way Better that PDP. This is sickening.
2, Omenka saw nothing wrong when Saraki left PDP for APC, But felt sad that Saraki had an alliance with PDP.... what rubbish.
3, Omenka will not have any problem with Saraki being the sole candidate of APC for senate president... The only wrong doing by Saraki, is the PDP support he had...... so shameful.
4, Omenka will not mind a one party APC state because of his blind support for anything APC.... that's too shallow.
I have my reservation about the events of today . However, I support the way it played out in the red chambers. Omenka's view of this issue is myopic...
What makes lawan a better candidate than Saraki? What's wrong in Saraki's position that the contest should be open to all especially since PDP was not in the contest. If the issue of Tambulwa was JUST, for the ACN/APC ,why were they afraid that such would repeat itself this time.
Look, PDP is not the problem of Nigeria. Nigerians are the problem.... How? We don't want to tell ourselves the truth.
Any problem that is taking too long to resolve in Nigeria, Just know we somehow, don't want to say the truth about it.
And for Ethnicity in politics, It is real in Nigeria. That people downplay it sometimes just for the sake of peace, or to get some of their desires does not mean it's not an issue..... Is Omenka ignorant of the fact that Buhari's candidacy was hinged on northern quest for central power?
Please don't kill the truth. God bless the hand that typed this glorious message to dat hypocrite called omenka |

Politics › Justice Buba Dismisses Suit Seeking To Vacate AIG Mbu From The Force by Ohammadike(op): 7:18pm On Jun 09, 2015 |
Justice Ibrahim Buba of a Federal High Court in Lagos on Tuesday dismissed the suit seeking to vacate Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Mbu Joseph Mbu over his alleged abuse of power. In his ruling, Buba said no court in Nigeria could declare the office of a police officer of the rank of AIG vacant, saying that such action was the responsibility of the Nigeria Police. “If any threat is made against any person, it is the duty of the police to investigate and punish the officer who made it accordingly, even if it is an AIG. “No court in Nigeria can declare the office of such officer vacant; it is the duty of the police, “he said. Buda said that the case of the plaintiff had no merit and was therefore dismissed. In the substantive suit numbered FHC/L/CS/149/15, the plaintiff, Mr Tope Alabi, a lawyer, is seeking a declaration that the first defendant, Mbu, “is unfit to be a police officer in Nigeria.” Alabi hinged his prayers before the court on an alleged statement by Mbu, in which he threatened to kill 20 civilians in place of a murdered policeman during the April general elections. The plaintiff had asked the court to direct relevant police authorities to declare Mbu’s office vacant and replace him, without further delay. The second to fourth defendants were the then Inspector General of Police (IGP), Suleiman Abba, the Police Service Commission and the then Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Mohammed Adoke. Alabi had said that Mbu, as a senior police officer, swore to uphold the rule of law and abide by the constitution, but instead, behaved as if he was above the law. Counsel to the Applicant, Mr Femi Falana (SAN), had in his originating summons, urged the court to grant the prayers sought by his client. But Mbu, who is in charge of Zone 2, comprising Lagos and Ogun States, in his counter-affidavit, denied ordering the police to kill civilians in place of any policeman killed during the elections. The counter-affidavit was deposed to on Mbu’s behalf by a policeman, Olugbemiga Adeoye. Mbu denied ever making the alleged statement, and added that he only ordered that any policeman shot by any person could shoot back in self-defence. Mbu averred that the newspaper publication containing the said allegation was “completely false, exaggerated, twisted and totally quoted out of context.” Adeoye said that he was at the briefing where Mbu made the alleged statement. Adeoye noted that to the contrary, “the true position is that during the official tour and briefing of police officers at Lagos and Ogun State Commands, Mbu directed every police officer to be law- abiding. “Mbu urged us to work hard and wake up to our constitutional/statutory duties, and that we must respect every citizen’s rights in the course of the performance of our duties. “He advised us that any policeman shot by any person could shoot back in self-defence.” The Legal Officer-in-Charge of Zone 2 Police Command, Mr Chukwu Agu, urged the court to dismiss the suit with substantial cost. Agu, further urged the court, not to rely on newspaper publications tendered as exhibit because they contained unverifiable and uncertified facts. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/06/justice-buba-dismisses-suit-seeking-to-vacate-aig-mbu-from-the-force/ |

The PDP even if they gather all their NWC members won't add up the numbers for Dogara. Dogara himself will vote Gbajabiamila next Tuesday. The party is supreme. Who told you that lie |

cramjones: I wanted GEJ to succeed, unfortunately he played politics with the lives of Nigerians. He allowed corruption to go on with impunity. He did not feel stealing was corruption. He made Nigeria a country of ridicule globally. We wanted to restor the dignity of country. We wanted a progressive and great nation. GEJ's rule was bringing the opposite, we did what we did for the love of Nigeria. If you wish PMB to fail, it is for no ones good for PMB governs Nigeria and not the north or the sw. Let us think positively for his regime. Let us give all the support.
Shalom.
