Opolopoopolonio:No! Non of Russia objectives have failed so far. It doesn't take Russia anything to reduce Kiev to rubble if their aim is to topple Zelensky regime. If you're very keen and have not allowed Russophile beclouded your objectivity, you would have understand that the two aims of Russia sending troops to Bucha near Kyiv is to pressurized the government of Zelensky and to keep the Ukrainian troops in Kiev down so that they won't be transferred to reinforced other areas of contention like Mauripol, Kherson, Kharkiv etc. That way, the Russians won't have to deal with large troops at once. In fact, it was a successful strategy but to me, the only failure I've seen so far is the fact that the Russians were not successful in convincing Zelensky regime to the dialogue table. |

When I speak, I speak to give silence. I'm not one of those that base assertions on "what I wish it was" rather than what it is. When I speak, I speak based on facts, reality and what's on ground, not on emotive outbursts or what the pages of Channel, Aljazeera, BBC, CNN, RT, France24 are oozing out. And by the way, I'm not here to convince you to believe anything, propaganda (misinformation and disinformation) is for the naive and undiscerning. The foolery (propaganda) is for the abused minds. |

Mister, I've gone beyond all these fooleries above. Ah ha!!! You lots are just hell bent on forcing us all to reason like a fool. |
VictorUSA:You mean an Elephant locking horn with a Bison? |
chopnaira:Actually and sincerely, feel sorry for the Europeans and Americans first. They're starving right now. If you have people in America or any European country, ask them how life over there. UN secretary asking Russia to allow wheat is not because of Africans it Asians, It's because famine is brewing in Europe. They sanction Russian and Belarusian trucks and ships from birthing at European ports. They are leveraging on India not knowing India also have her population to feed. Just some days ago, India ban export of wheat. There are over 25 million ton of grain in Ukraine storages, and a large chunk of them are under the control of Russian's backed DPR. So, right now, Russia is cleaning up the Mariupol sea port to export those grain. Technically, it's the American and European that sanctioned Russia, they're the ones feeling the sanctions MAJORLY. |
Rastaramsey:The only thing holding Russia back from leveling Ukraine is brotherhood. The way you will beat someone from your family will be different from how you will beat someone from another family. Ukraine-Russia-Belorussia are brothers literally. Besides, it's not a war but a military campaign. You see, the only thing holding NATO and US back from confronting Russia directly rather than using Ukraine as a front, is because of some weapons that they have no answer to in Russian's arsenal. No one want a Poseidon torpedo, Sarmat, ISKANDER, Buresvetnik, zircon, avangard, kinzhal etc facing their countries. Besides, no one knows yet how to overcome the S400 not to mention S500. If it was any other country that tried what Russia did, US and NATO would have invaded such country. But with Russia, not even a combined 34 countries including the US, UK, Germany, France have the gut to sneeze at Russia. |
grandiose4ever:okay. |
VictorUSA:Tell that to the people below
|
emetisuccess:And that makes them part of the "target package" by Russia. In any conflict with NATO, every members of the NATO/OTAN blocs becomes AUTOMATIC and legitimate target for Russia, whether any member of the bloc want to stay out of the conflict or not. |
cl0r0x:I have never said the F35 is a very bad job. It is effective but also expensively unreliable. I don't need to tell you anything but you should source and go beyond google if you want to really understand some things going on in this globe. Just get on the net and you will understand that the F35 is a jet that breakdown always and easily. Just follow military pages from Germany, France, UK, and EU countries on the F35 programme and you will be enlightened. Turkey was part of the programme because they are part of NATO and they want to upgrade their aging F16 fleets which sanction have crippled. Turkey has ALREADY PAID for the jets before they bought the Russian system. In fact, just 3 days ago, an European country leader(I wont mention the country's name) said that, Turkey weighs the decision to buy the S400 five times before finally going for the S400. |
joyandfaith:In as much as you are not the type of person i should dignify a response, but for the sake of knowledge, i will. Now, You saying Russia running out of conventional weapons is like hoping the Pacific ocean will dry up. You can simply see how uninformed you are by stating "deploying S500 and use of laser weapons show that Russia is...." Now, let me disabused your mind, S500 is an Air Defense sytem, a long range, strategic , and comprehensive deterrence against PRESENT and FUTURE air assault. It is an entire new version of the S400 but, it is a new sytem entirely, meaning, it is totally different from S400 as it can target, track and shoot down small RCS (stealth) objects in air, cruise missile, hypersonic projectile, ICBM (nuke) etc. Also, being deployed means it has entered combat duty within Russia. It is not a system meant for deployment outside Russia border. The S400 wasn't deployed to Ukraine because this is a Long range ADS. What you will see defending Russia positions in Ukraine are Short range and medium range ADS like Tor, Pantsir, Buk. These systems are enough to bring down anything Ukraine can field on the battlefield. And considering whether Russians are "WASTING" those state-of-the-art weapons on "small" Ukraine is another ignorance I won't forgive. Let me state it that, EVERY conflicts is a means to "test" and see the combat effectiveness of inventions from both sides. In Syria, Russia tested fully the use of Kalibr cruise missiles flying from the Black sea to Syria to hits ISIS terrorists fuel, military commands etc. Those cruise travelled over 2400km to their destination. Also, Russia using Zadira < russian for "troublemaker"> (a 5km range) laser to shot down drone is part of their multilayered defense programme. Israel tested their weapons on both Palestinians, Iranian and Syrian targets. Believe me, before Israel can sell ant weapon to you, be it even a rifle, they would have field that weapon for more than 10 years on the Palestinians. Do you even know how many weapons Russia tested in Syria and how many they've tested and are going to test in Ukraine? Wars are field of testing to the fullest the effectiveness of military inventions. Go and read further on Russian Poseidon, Status 6, Peresvet, Zircon, Burevestnik, Kinzhal, Avangard, S-70 Okhotnik, Su-75 Checkmate, Zadira, BrahMos, Su-57, supercavitating torpedo, S500, S550, Nudol missile interceptor etc. Maybe you lots will understand that Russia will never run out of conventional and non-conventional weapons. |
cl0r0x:I have gone beyond what you see on the surface. Turkey is asking for the F35 as a precondition to allow Sweden and Fins because, Turkey has ALREADY PAID for the F35 Jets before they bought the S400. So, how do you want them to just allow their money to be "stolen" by the US simply because they fielded Russian's "stealth painting" Air Defense system. Pal, you really need to broaden your knowledge beyond the surface of MSM. Turkey bought the S400 so that they can target and protect their space from any Western air assaults while also wanting to field Western jets and combat modules so that any possible future conflict with Russia and Asia could be countered. It is a double edge sword for Turkey. |
Opolopoopolonio:Even your "almighty" West dares not fly where S400 is keeping watch , not to mention where S500 is watching over.Maybe you should ask yourself why the West have NEVER supplied Ukraine with their Patriot air defense system but are rather scavenging all over the world for S300. Go and do your research why Turkey, a NATO member bought the S400 rather than going for the F35 jets from US or maybe you should asked the Saudi's what the Yemenis are doing to American's Patriot in Saudi arabia. |
Congratulation to them but do they have an answer to the Russian kinzhal or Avangard? NO! By answer, I mean, do they have the capability and capacity to intercept Hypersonic missiles? The only country so far that practically have the capability to do that is still Russia, with their S500 ADS. I am still wondering why the much proclaimed Patriot defense system from US have not been transferred among the weapon packages to Ukraine. I really want to see the system's efficiency and effectiveness in defending the skies from enemies' missiles. Well, they might not. The experience the Patriot defense systems had in the hands of Yemenis while "defending" the Saudi Arabian's oil depots are enough bad market. |
Sweetplum:You mean like Biden and the axis-of-evil trying to burst Russia while in the process bursting themselves?
|

USA doesn't have any Operational Hypersonic weapon. They're still testing and developing theirs, in fact, their 5th or 6th test failed according to reports. Russia is currently the only country to have developed theirs, deployed them and even use them in conflict(Ukraine-Russia war). India and China are also developing their own version. |
richeeyo:When you get boxed into a corner, the next thing is to resort to vulgar words and exhibit unmannered characters. Your opponent quoted you with non-aggressive stance, you're replying with uncouth words. Like Biden like followers. |
rottennaija:Any NATO escalation will see UK being the hardest hit by Russia. Once it escalate, the first thing that will stop is the gas, coal and oil from Russia. As both Enemies are waging unprecedented carnage on each other, riots and extreme civil unrest will erupt in Europe, because of inaccessibility to gas for civilians and industrial complexes. That continent suffers the most ruins in WWII, they've barely come out of it, now they're entering another. |
Discombulator:Is that the only thing you saw? Pal, I've seen things in Ukraine that I won't even pray my enemies encounter. I watched a footage where over half a dozen Ukrainian soldiers were taking selfie by a destroyed AFV, a tank approach them, they thought it was an Ukrainian tank, the tank fire its smoothbore at them at less than 10 feets away. The shockwave/muzzle velocity charred them to smithereens. You pick a fight with someone not on your pedestal, that even those who can match and out-march them are being careful not to confront them directly. There's no wisdom in what Zelensky is doing to Ukraine. I believe this military campaign might not have resulted in Russia using heavy weaponry, if not for NATO/US proxy involvement. Russia is currently not seeing that campaign as contention with Ukraine again, but with NATO and their patron, USA. This is what is escalating the conflict and it might lead to Russia declaring war on Ukraine. They didn't declare war, but see the carnage, if they now declare war, there would be nonstop Heavy bombardment from the famous White Swans. Algeria and Egypt knows the kind of European neighbors they have(the Libyan onslaught that led to the death of Gadahfi by NATO is a point of note), they're arming up. Down here, we're still talking about building roads. |
The only ADS in the world designed specifically for ICBMs, Long range Bombers, Hypersonic missiles, space based weapons, etc. It seem Russia won't wait till 2024 again to mass produce it. The NATO stance on Ukraine is fueling this new development. |
VictorUSA:Mister, it took USA 20 Years in Afghanistan to replace Taliban with Taliban. |
leofab:Says Albert Einstein of Nairaland who doesn't understand the difference between Atomic and Hydrogen (thermonuclear) bombs. When you're ready to learn, unlearn and relearn, then, you can engage me in intellectual discourse. Gracias. |
leofab:You are right. I didn't say that is the recent figure, I am only drawing up a situatoinal awareness concerning what Nuclear deterrence means, by citing the use of a 15kilotons nuclear bombs by the US on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan, which obliterated a city and killed over 100k people. and then, bringing that down to modern and advanced nuclear capabilities, the danger is grevous. I.e, if a nuclear yield of a 15kilotons could cause that amount of destruction, what do we think of 200kilotons, and even 2megatons would cause? Note: On Oct. 31, 1961, a Russian Tu-95v carried a hydrogen bomb that weighs 27,500kg, with a yield of 58Megatons, yes! you read that right, 58Megatons. So, in essence, I'm pointing to why our world is a dangerous place and why Nuclear weapons differ. People here who shout that Russia isn't the only country with Nuclear capability doesn't understand that madness surpass madness. A Rolls Royce and a Bugatti are both automobile with four tyres but, in term of torque, performance, luxury, powertrain, HP, etc they differs. Hopefully you understand the point I am making. |
Gbadebo19:Comrade, let me be frank with you. There is Nuclear weapon and there are Nuclear weapons. What Russia has in store can't be compared with what the West had in their arsenal. The yield of Russia nuclear triad isn't something the West can match. Believe me, everyone knows, including the West, that Russians are the master of rocket. These people understand physics and mathematic like hell. The US stealth fighters, starting from F17 Night hawk to F35 Lightning are stolen tech from Soviet Union. Some years back, Russia warn the West that the illusion of stealth in their aircrafts are only for the West. This was in the early years when the US brought the Raptor onto the world stage. With the advent of S500, stealth and ICBM became slicing a butter with knife to the Russians. Have you ever wondered why the US engage in Visa lottery and all that to bring foreigners to US? Have you ever wondered why western weapons are made SPECIFICALLY to counter Russia? Have you ever wondered why Russia has only ONE Aircraft Carrier while the US is heavily relying on Aircraft Carriers for projection? Have you ever wondered why Turkey(a NATO member) bought the S400 instead of THAAD or Patriot? So, in essence when we talked about Nuclear deterrence, Russia nukes are no child's play because they're HEAVILY destructive. The US used a 15 kilotons Nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6th and 9th respectively, which killed over 100,000 people within minutes and obliterated an entire city. Now, there are bombs with nuclear yields of over 2 Megatons. Do the maths. Nuclear winter with Russia is something no one should look forward to. Shalom. |
Horus:He won't. He is a master chess player. He doesn't rush in playing his game, he always allow the opponents to make the first move, so that he can place him "where he want". Russia isn't BEAR in word alone, they're that in deeds and actions. You can now wonder why over 30 countries are against just ONE Bear. |
joyandfaith:You're overestimating your master's power. Mariupol is ALREADY a done deed. Radio intercept records had shown that even the mercenaries and AZOV battalion are frantically looking for escape route which is TOTALLY impossible. Last week, 2 helicopters were sent to ferry out the commanders of AZOV, they were both shot down. This week again, another two Mi-8 helicopters were sent for the same purpose, Russia down the birds again. Maybe, why you're vehemently defending the West is because you refused to read and watch beyond the pages of MSM. I would recommend you search the net so that you'll know more about the campaign. Gracias. |
Instead of dousing the fire, they're bent on adding more flammable to stoke it. The earlier Zelensky remember that NATO is a military pact and not an economic pact, the better. Because after the military campaign, they will be the one to bear the brunt of the carnage on their soil. |
I think it's time you lots use your sense for once. The missiles that WERE used were fired by the Ukrainian Military. Russia make use of ISKANDER while Ukraine use TOCHKA-U. The Tochka-U is EXCLUSIVELY used and fielded by the Ukrainian Military. The missiles used is from the Ukrainian land force. The number 1 picture is the Ukrainian Tochka-U. The number 2 picture is from the scene of attack. The number 3 is the Russian ISKANDER. The Tochka-U missile used was tipped with cluster munitions, reason for the high civilian's death.

VictorUSA:May I know who are the WE? |
ojun50:What a jejune! You can't ever be like me, when I'm ain't the one with the sinister motive. ![]() |
ibkayee:I wondered. |
