Islandlady:Wike said " Some governors from the south" He did not say south east. There are only 2 PDP governors from the south east ( Abia state and Enugu state) and they were behind Wike 110%. To the extent that they did not receive any other PDP presdential Aspirant in there respective government houses during the campaign. Why are you guys always economical with the truth. |

He won in the Courts and reclaimed his mandate. *He was the first Governor in Nigeria to legally challenge his wrongful impeachment and was reinstated by the Courts. *He was the first Governor in Nigeria to seek the interpretation of tenures of Governors when INEC allowed elections to take place in Anambra State when his tenure had not expired; the election already concluded was cancelled and he was allowed to complete his tenure. *He was the first Governor to serve a 2nd term in both the new and old Anambra State, that is, almost 40 years after creation of the State. *He was the first Governor, whilst still in Office, to be appointed a Special Adviser to the President. *He was the first serving Governor to be appointed into the Presidential Economic Management Team. *He was among the first Governors to be honoured with a National Award in 2011, while still in office. *Though the only Governor whose political party was in government in only one State, he was elected Vice-Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum twice. *Though the only non-PDP Governor in the South-East (made up of 5 States), he was elected by the other 4 PDP Governors as their Chairman for 8 years rather than the usual one year. FUNDAMENTAL ACHIEVEMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF ANAMBRA STATE (PARTIAL LISTING) 1. Anambra was the first State to commence Sub-Sovereign Wealth savings, the first of its kind in Sub-Saharan Africa. At a time many other Governors were leaving huge debts, I left the equivalent of $500 million Dollars in investment as well as local and foreign currency, including $156 million in Dollar-denominated bonds. 2. For the first time in the history of Anambra State, Ambassadors and High Commissioners of notable countries such as United Stated, Britain, Russia, European Union, South Africa, Belgium, Israel, the Netherlands, Canada, among others, visited the State. Before my tenure, Anambra was practically a pariah state blacklisted by the Diplomatic Corps and international development partners. 3. Development partners such as UNDP, UNICEF, the World Bank, DFID, the European Union etc., which hitherto were not in Anambra State started working with the State. Anambra was consistently adjudged one of the best states in development partnership and commitment to reforms for good governance. 4. He was recognised as Best Governor by the Millennium Development Goals Office (OSSAP-MDGs) and the UNDP in the implementation of their programmes in Nigeria. 5. The Nigerian Debt Management Office (DMO) rated Anambra as the least indebted state in Nigeria. In spite of visible and measurable achievements recorded in various sectors, the State under him did not borrow or raise bonds for her various projects. 6. The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria rated Anambra State as the most financially stable state in the country. 7. The State's ground-breaking return of schools to their original owners - Voluntary Agencies (Churches) on 1st January 2009, and subsequent partnership with the Agencies in Education, saw the State move from 24th position out of 36 States to Number One in National Examination Council (NECO) and West African Examination Council (WAEC) examinations for three consecutive years. This made the World Bank to commission a study, led by the renowned Prof. Paul Collier of Oxford University, on this revolutionary partnership and phenomenal achievement. 8. The State also entered into strategic partnership with the Churches in the Health sector. This symbiotic relationship resulted in a tremendous boost to health care because of the services offered by health institutions owned by Voluntary Agencies, while the State restored grants to the agencies and made available to them more than 50 million Dollars in various types of support. 10. Through partnership with the Church in the Health sector, his Government funded the transformation of -: a: Iyienu Hospital, Ogidi; b: Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Ihiala; c: St Charles Borromeo Hospital, Onitsha; d: Holy Rosary Hospital, Waterside, Onitsha; and e: St. Joseph Hospital, Adazi-Nnukwu. His Government also built the Joseph Nwilo Heart Centre in St. Joseph, Adazi-Nnukwu, where heart operations are now being performed. 11. His Government won the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (1 Million dollars) as the best-performing state in immunisation in the South-East. With complementary funding from our Government, they used the money to build 10 Maternal and Child Care Centres across the State, particularly in rural communities, in partnership with the Churches. 12. The State was the first to procure and distribute more than 30,000 computers to secondary schools, including 22,500 from HP. The Managing Director for Personal Systems Group HP Inc, Mr. FabriceCampoy described the deployment as the biggest of such projects in the Middle-East and Africa. 13. Anambra State Government provided Microsoft Academies to more than 500 secondary schools, which the Head of Microsoft in Nigeria (Mr. Ken Span) described as the biggest such deployment in Africa so far. 14. The State provided Internet access to more than 500 secondary schools, which the CEO of Galaxy Backbone (Mr. Gerald Ilukwe) characterized as incomparable to any in the country. 15. More than 700 buses were provided to secondary schools in the State by our Government. 16. Boreholes were provided in schools all over the State. 17. Numerous classrooms were built in all the 177 communities of the State. 18 As part of the efforts to turn around the economy of the State, a number of companies were attracted to build their facilities in the Anambra State. A case in point is SABMiller, the 2nd largest brewery in the world, which built their first Green Field facility in the State, which is today one of the most successful facilities they operate globally. 19. A number of other companies followed the SABMiller initiative and were all supported and encouraged under our Government; a good example is INNOSON Motor Manufacturing Company, from which our government bought more than 1,000 vehicles. 20. Anambra State for the first time started close collaboration with recognized government security agencies (the Police, Army, Navy, Department of State Security, Civil Defence, among others), offering them various types of support including provision of more than 500 security vehicles. The improvement in security was phenomenal, such that the former IG of Police (Abubakar Mohammed) lauded Anambra State for not witnessing any bank robbery in my last three years in office. 21. To further enhance security, Anambra State provided at least one security vehicle to each of all the 177 communities in the State as well as various organizations such as markets and Churches. 22. His Administration conceived and built, from scratch, the first state-owned Teaching Hospital, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu teaching Hospital, Awka. 23. His Government commenced the planned development of the Igbariam Campus of the ChukwuemekaOdumegwu-Ojukwu University, including the fencing, construction of internal roads, electrification, construction of the Faculty of Law, Auditorium, Administrative Block, Faculty of Agriculture, Management Building, among others). 24. His Government attracted the World Bank support on erosion - National Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) - to Anambra State. 25. His Government was the first to do Poverty Mapping in Nigeria, as a guide for the effective implementation of our poverty-alleviation strategies. 26 His Government, for the first time, undertook the aerial mapping of Awka as well as the production of Structure Plans for Awka Capital Territory, Onitsha and Nnewi. 27. During his tenure and with his Government's support, Anambra State became an oil producing State. 28. He built the first Secretariat Complex to house State Government Ministries that were hitherto scattered around the State. 29. His government commenced the development of the 'Three Arms Zone' comprising Government House/Governor’s Lodge, Legislative Building/Speakers Residence, and Judiciary Building with Chief Judge’s Residence. 30. By the end of his tenure in 2014, more than twelve (12) health institutions, including two hospitals, had secured accreditation; when we took off in 2006, no health institution in Anambra State was duly accredited. 31. Anambra State was the first to undergo national peer review, which scrutinised State Governments for good governance, through the State Peer Review Mechanism (SPRM), an initiative of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum in collaboration with the DFID. - Does it look like 40M is his problem? |
*WOW!* You can't get to read a more issue-based response to a horde of media bandits hired by the corrupt politicians in our midst to stop one man, who will definitely put an end to their retrogressive practices that brought dear country to her knees. *Kudos to Dr. Nnaemeka Onyeka Obiareri* Enjoy.... *PETER OBI'S REPORT CARD AND ANALYSIS....* ✍The social media space has been agog with all manner of posts and commentaries since Peter Obi's Declaration to Run for the Presidency of Nigeria on the platform of the PDP.. ✍Characteristic of everything in this warped contraption called Nigeria , a majority of the very partisan commentators and ethnic/religious bigots have abandoned the thematic focus of his campaign thrust / issue based submissions, and delved into the arena of banal , base and sentimental politics . ✍Fault finders have already started digging even to know the size of his boxers just to spite and denegrade him , hence , drown the very profound messages and learning points in his very rich deliveries . Rather than interrogate the issues he raised and compare it with that of the other gladiators, they chose to dwell on banal adhominems and ghaghaghaness. ✍On such matters as raised by Peter Obi , rational people do fact checks , while ignorant and low minded sentimentalists indulge in distortions , digressions and snide talks . For the benefits of those who always seek to know the truth and live by it, this is my more elaborate take on the issue : *PRUDENT RESOURCES MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORT OF LOCAL ENTERPRISE GROWTH.* *1*. Peter Obi stated that he supported INNOSON by ordering 1000 Vehicles from his factory. These facts are verified. I expect the hypocrites , who scream everyday about buy Naija and their ignorant social media trolls to learn from Peter Obi and replicate this in abuja and the 36 states in order to grow local production and consumption. It is a big shame , when you support governors and looters , who waste hundreds of millions of naira to buy made in the US bullet proof SUV but talk down on a man that purchased made in Nigeria car for N3m *2.* Peter Obi stated that he reduced his convoy from 22 to 5 vehicles and you cannot buy fuel unless he is in the car". These facts are verified. But you guys in your hate prefer wasters , who use N78m to barb their hair annually. I expect the ignorant trolls hating him for stating this truth , to go back and pressure their state governors to adopt this model of prudence in this austere season . I also expect the worshippers of the gods in aso rock to pressure them to sell off the large and wasteful Presidential fleet of jets that cost over N5.6billion to fuel and maintain annually . It is absurd, deceitful , wicked and satanic hypocrisy for you to go on national telly to broadcast to the man who has not seen a regular meal in two days that you know how he feels or feel his pain , when you budgeted to eat N1.7billion worth of fura, amala and akpu in a year and spend N5.6billion to fuel jets , when Peter Obi flew economy class in his 8 years as governor . The Bandits you support waste your resources flying private jets. Instead of being angered by their waste, you attack a man that can move us away from this culture of locust and cankerworms. *3*. If I sleep in a hotel and have to pay N250k a night, I will be awake all night...feeling like I was robbed". - Peter Obi. verified fact . Tell your governor to stop blowing your state funds in expensive hotels with his aids . Let them learn from Peter Obi. *4.* "We handed schools back to Churches and by 2013, we were number one in WAEC."- Peter Obi . This is a verified fact . Rather than hate Peter ,put pressure on your governor to improve education in your state and make your public schools habitable and decent to learning. Some of the public schools that Peter Obi helped Missions to fund , produced kids , who went to the US to win global science competitions . Facts . *5.* Peter Obi stated that he did not allow his wife and children abuse state funds or engage in pay to play as First Lady and Children . These are verified facts. His wife was hardly seen parading the corridors of power . Peter Obi's only daughter is more beautiful and educated than some of those kids of the powers that be who spend tax payers money to attend UN functions. Peter clearly separated/ shielded his office from family meddlesomeness, unlike those who could not keep to their campaign promises to put their wives and children under leash . Peter never alloted anambra lands to himself, his wife, children and inlaws. It is on records. Facts !!! Unlike the Bandits that converted state lands into private estate . Go to Imo and Lagos and see for yourself what land banditry means. *6.* Peter Obi built infrastructure, attracted conglomerates and new enterprises into his state , paid all outstanding salaries , wages and gratuities as at when due and still saved N75billion in liquid assets and cash . This is verified fact . Pressure your governor to at least pay salaries to poor workers before you come on facebook to run your stinking mouth on Peter Obi. *7.* Peter Obi paid down up to N35billion of the huge debts he inherited and never borrowed neither did he owe anyone unlike Lagos State under Tinubu, Fashola and Co and Osun under Aregbesola , Imo under Rochas and the current FGN that has so far borrowed tens of trillions without any tangible infrastructure or single kilometer of road to show for it. *Note* also that the Lagos state government started their light rail project at the same time the Addis Ababa Municipal started their own 17km rail project between 2008/2009. This Addis Ababa Rail Project was delivered and commissioned in 2015 and today ferries over 60,000 passengers per hour. The lagos rail project even after they have squandered over $800m is still work in progress in 2022. You guys are still not ashamed to come on social media to display your ignorance, greed and crass iberiberism. Lovers of their haters and bandits . Peter Obi did not sell any state owned assets to raise chop money for politicians , rather he added more . Rather than hate Peter Obi pressure your governor or those in Abuja to account for what they did with all the homongous funds they borrowed without any commensurate infrastructure to show for it . *8* Anambra state is the most poverty free state in Nigeria (not Lagos), under Peter Obi reign. According to national bureau of statistics, Peter Obi maintained that record and won awards from MDG for the sustained growth. *9*. On several times and occasions, Peter Obis mandate was stolen and truncated. On each occasion , he fought his way to the supreme court to reclaim his mandates . He never threatened anyone with the blood of baboon and monkeys . No one was killed defending or opposing his mandates . As a true democrat , he abided by the rule of law . *10.* Peter Obi revoked a N400m contract to build a Presidential mansion in Anambra state , when most states profligately wasted funds on such jamboree . He abolished state houses in Abuja and Lagos . He used N150milion that was supposed to buy him two bullet proof vehicles to as deposit to buy 50 Peugeot 406 cars for the executive , and Judiciary . Please instead of hating Peter kindly ask your governor and the Political Bandits you worship to go to him and learn Prudence. *11*. Peter Obi was presented a budget of N32million for him and some people to attend the World Igbo summit in the US but he threw it out and mandated only one person to attend at a more reduced amount . But under the current FGN one minister took same amount to go to China . Please send these men to Peter to learn common sense in prudence. *12*. Finally, for some of the poverty minded jesters ,( who assume that every wealthy man is a rogue) and who accused Peter Obi of building a NEXT mall in Abuja as evidence that he looted Anambra state , kindly note that as far back as 1993. Peter Obi was already very wealthy . He learnt entrepreneurship from his mum , who is a well known wealthy woman in Anambta state . *13.* The Next Group of companies he owns is over three decade old . Peter Obi as far back as 2004 was the highest shareholder and Chairman of Fidelity Bank PLC. He did not borrow money to fund his campaign or buy Party nomination forms. He did not depend on roguish looters to fund his campaign , unlike those in Abuja . He funded his own campaign hence , was able to avoid looters or godfathers stealing anambra money unlike the current jamboree in some states and Abuja. *14* Peter grew his wealth prudently and did not depend on governments as his source of wealth , hence , he knows the value of Money and how to grow money . *15*. If you desire to know how the likes of Peter Obi, and other very few development minded political leaders leveraged on their positions of influence to support their enterprises without looting their state FAAC, JAAC and IGR allocations like some of the demented kleptomaniacs we have in our states , I can help you with free tutorials . Not every politician is a mindless looter. There are still few that create wealth for their states and people . *16*. Note also that Peter Obi did not set up any private SPV and tax consultancy outfit to rip off 20% from every IGR collected in Anambra state , neither did he appoint/ force his daughters and wife into public places to be harassing and slapping innocent and helpless citizens. *17.* Peter understood the importance of education and knowledge, hence, his constant quest for more . Thus , he attended some of the best schools in the world and supported quality education in his state , unlike the fossils and gerentocrats , who never added one jot of knowledge in years and do not know the importance of education . *18 .* To a majority of the ignorant and sentimental folks , who are all over the social media to discredit an apt and timely message to us as a people , I leave you with this parting words from Okwute himself .... *"I beg you to participate more in politics, the society we help them ( the oppressive political class ) abuse today will take its revenge tomorrow"* - Peter Obi *19*. Peter Obi has offered himself to serve. He is not going to force himself on anyone . 2,000 years after , it is still very glaring that the current generation have not yet learnt their lessons . They will still choose their barabasses over those, who came to save them . Please go ahead to nominate and elect your bandits ... but kindly note, remember and let it be at the back of your minds, that the day the terrorists stopped the Abuja to Kaduna train, they did not ask those they killed and kidnapped if they were Igbos , Yoruba , Hausa , Fulani,Ijaw , Muslim, Christian, Hindu etc, before they gunned them down or abducted them . Whatever you wish Nigeria and support will surely happen to you one way or the other *I come in peace* Dr Nnaemeka Onyeka Obiaraeri, FICA |

A LITTLE LESSON During the Nigeria-Biafra* civil war, many Igbo people fled other parts of the country for the East because they were being wantonly massacred and the Federal Military Government did little about it. Many abandoned their homes, property and business for reasons safety. One of those who fled, was a young Igbo architect who had a young Yoruba banker as a neighbour in Apapa, Lagos. He also abandoned his home and with his family, fled for the East. However, the young Yoruba banker, while the war raged, rented out his neighbour's house and kept every kobo for him while he was in the East. In 1970, after the war had ended, the Igbo architect returned to Lagos and *the Yoruba banker handed over the entire proceeds* of the rent and also the house, to the Igbo architect. A few years later, the Igbo architect became the Vice President of Nigeria and the Yoruba banker established a commercial bank; the first of its kind by a private citizen in Nigeria. But he could not get a license to begin banking operations. Banking institutions stood against him. Then the banker remembered his neighbour who was now the Vice President of Nigeria He had tried to get an appointment to see the Vice in his office *but it was without success.* He and his wife then *decided to track him* to the Christ Church Cathedral, Marina, Lagos on a particular Sunday. In the Church *the security men would not allow them near* the Vice President. The couple then decided to sit by the pew close to the aisle *with the hope that the Vice President would see them* as he walked to the front row. Yet, he still didn't see them. After church service, *they believed he will see them* on his way out but people around him and the security men blocked them. That was when the banker's wife decided to take that feminine risk and *pulled the Vice President's attire* to get his attention. The Vice President turned and saw his old friend and his wife. The young banker quickly narrated his plight and told the Vice why he needed to see him. He told him about his application for a bank licence. “Don’t worry about tha,. Just come tomorrow the Vice President assured him. At 3.00 pm the next day, the Finance Minister called the banker on telephone that his licence was ready. End of story. That young banker was Otunba Michael Olasubomi Balogun while the architect in this narrative was Dr. Alex Ekwueme. the then Vice President of Nigeria. The bank is what is now known as First City Monument Bank (FCMB). See...! It is good to be good... Let's always show love and honesty to ourselves. Allow sincerity to be your logo.
This is a good step to start with. But We still need longer extension for the February 9th deadline. This should take atleast 180 days for all Nigerians to be able to register and get their NIN. But overall, with this NIN, we are on the pathway to a great nation. This is one of the first thing that made developed nation what they are right now. Slow and steady we will get there. God bless Nigeria. Addendum: We will remain subtle in our posts henceforth, following some conference calls all of us @ received from some elders (Mostly females, Grandmas et al) and other sane members of the forum last night. Our points have been passed across on this forum. We dished out to them just for 2 weeks what they have been dishing out to us for over 3 years on this forum, and some people are mad and angry, as if it is only some sets of people that have monopoly to madness! Well, we will go back to our more civil ways and continue to ignore trolls and (gosh, we don't wanna call names anymore....... atleast for now!) We will continue to respect the rules and regulations of this great forum and continue to pray for our darling country as much as we can. We will continue to call out the government on the negative things that are not going well in the country as we have always been doing (but some willfully blind people have chosen not to see) and we will continue to commend our darling Daddy and his amiable Vice President for the good works they are doing all around the nation in every region. We have made it known to the little set of confused fans that dem MANNA can never be silence, bullied, provoked, threatened or trolled, and it is good they have seen they did that for almost 4 years now, but they keep going down one after the other while we remain standing gidigba on the Rock of Ages! Only a wise man quits the battle he knows he can never win. We will ignore you as we have been doing for many years prior now, But if you quote us while ignoring you to say jargons and using words not allowed on this forum, Then we will happily follow the rules and regulations of the forum instead of addressing you as swines that N Cownu addressed you as, even as his followers! More because we are all raised by different parents and also because of foreigners coming to this forum to learn about out darling nation. We will rather school and correct you with love as kid brothers that you are .D anointing wey all of us @ carry no be una mate... CHUKWUKADIBIA! Y'all heard?! ![]() For all sane, honest, good, positive and hardworking Nigerians, please, be like dem MANNA. A better Nigeria is all we want. A better Nigeria we sshall get. Slow and steady we will get to the Nigeria of our dreams God bless Nigeria. Manna Where you got it all wrong is that Buhari is not and will never be part of that new Nigeria of your dreams. Hope its getting clearer to you day by day though you have sold your soul. |
post=97509118:Bros you will live and reap the fruit of your labour. The lies, wickedness and evil you are sowing/supporting I promise you will reap in this life. It may take time but when the harvest starts coming just remember today. You are mocking God. Galatians 6:7 (KJV) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. |
