Gej has every right constitutionally to run for a second term. Let's not keep interpreting the constitution like we are not knowledgeble people. if gej earlier said he was not interested in running come 2015, shows he's not power drunk or a greedy person. But that decision is not his to make. If we think he would be leaving that post for someone not competent or probably a boko member, then he has no choice but to run for second term.
If the northern muslim are wise, they should bring up a southerner we can trust or a northern christian who has been tested and tried like jona gjang of plateau then, we would give him our vote. Else let the worstest come !!

Boko haram operating with full confidence. Ovuious they had strong backing.

It is now tooo scary to give power to a northern muslim or a tired leg and dumb head like buhari. Therefore, i would vote boko haram OUT and vote a non-boko in.

Also with the way the highly educated sanusi chased out and took over christian banks and created unemployment in the name of sanitization. Likewise, when our defense minister , another token appointment by GEJ, stated simplistically and naively that Boko Haram "will soon end" Nigerians did not see such happen. Instead they witnessed more daring blood-letting by the group.

One would then think GEJ will be sensible enough to speak in ways that would not make him look foolish or inept in future. Considering the litany of broken promises that typifies his leadership, I would think GEJ would be better off delivering concrete results instead of giving Boko Haram specific markers for embarrassing an embattled Presidency. What will GEJ do If Boko Haram attacks devastatingly in June?

That the president was wrong to be optimistic after making much effort at curtailing boko boys? Do you mean he should no longer believe in his own effort? Do you know how much was put into the budget on security?
