That picture sure doesn't look like Aso Rock Villa. I have been following the televised visits of vip's trooping to Aso Rock to pay their condolence and am sure Ameachi and wife hasn't gone. Atleast I haven't seen them.

Both PEJ and the Ameachi's are right. Ameachi's wife went to their house in Bayelsa or River State while patience was waiting in Abuja.

alexleo:

And if his church members has been using god of Ajanaku and god of my pastor in their prayers (like chosen church members), by now it would ve dawn on them that they had actually been praying to the traditional god of their pastor rather than the almighty Jehova. I hope chosen members will learn from this and stop the god of my pastor prayer that they pray. We have not learned so of Christ.

Pastor Kun:

This character is really living in bondage sad

matt 16:
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Matt 10:
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Those are the very words of Christ. Leave us and as many that wish to follow christ to our bondage in Christ.

is their mission to go from poverty to riches or to spread the gospel to the ends for the world ?

smiley

You see your life? See your self frosbel, it is either you are an agent of the Devil or you just lack understanding of scriptures and inexperience.

So they are to spread the gospel to the end of the earth on horse back and sail in ships ko? You see how much you lack understanding? The evengelist been sent round the globe do you know how they survive? Do you care how they feed? The hungry mentality that took you over 4000kilometers from your country has not left you at all infact, it runs naturally in your blood. That's why you find it so hard to give to God and to the progress of the gospel.

The poor you are fighting for are building mansions for themselves in heaven, make you they there they shout.

Many like you have come and gone. People in the ministry of crticism, the fault finders. You shall come and go.

Afro connect:
stick to the issue-or do you think a materialistic pastor, who chops congregation's offerings and such without minding the poor and widows is pleasing God?
don't be an educated fool, objectivity makes you see clearly.

And did I derail the thread, what's the business of the congregation with a money they gave to God. They should ask the pastor how he gets their money over to God. If a congregation is soo bothered about what happens to the money, he should not give. No be by force naa. Abi dem they kill put.

MAYOWAAK: If i was the one that said masturbation is not wrong, i know by now my family would have been calling me to warn me and my holy friends would have all deleted or avoid me as they do, but if It's pastor Chris then it's the wisdom from the man of God so no big deal.

If i was the one that say "GOD IS A GAME" My very righteous friends would have long ago blocked me and carry their long faces and accuse me of blasphemy but if it's Pastor Fireman, it's ok!! dare not question the man of God.

If i was the one that publicly slapped a teen by accusing her to be a witch for anything and threaten to slap more, most of my religious and friends would have made the teen's picture their profile pictures demanding for justices but if it's Bishop David, it's the hand of God(maradonna), it's the Holy Ghost slap.

If i demand for 50 million to provide free safe drinkable water in some rural communities, i know most of my Nigerians friends will raise alarm on “fraudsters going on nairaland demanding for money in the name of community service but if our dadddy g.o adeboye asks for 35 billion to build an auditorium that will be used on rare special occasions, it's the holy inspiration and God's project and no one dare questions.

If i keep posting about helping the masses, sharing part of their pain but then i happen to support an anti-masses decision, i know by now i will be the clown of the century, but when Daddy Ayo supported fuel subsidy removal which is anti masses, everyone kept quiet and even the masses, offcourse do you want to attract generational curses by questioning the man of God?...gbosa!!

If i'm claiming to be a humble servant of God but flaunt with my designers glasses, escorts, Louis Vuitton bible, expensive dresses, 3 golden chains on my neck, and private jet to escape traffic jam and enhance comfort, I know most of you would have staged a protest, but the moment i edit my name and add Pastor that solves the trick i become untouchable, unquestionable and unspeakable.

You mean even your immediate family don't trust you.

frosbel: Any Pastor who lives in luxury and opulence while his church members are broke and struggling to make two ends meet, is in great danger of damnation.

A Pastor who flies in a private Jet worth millions , while a church mother cannot afford to feed her kids has lost the plot and might be a charlatan.

Any Pastor who lives in a mansion worth millions , while a father in the church cannot pay his house rent and bills has to be a charlatan.

Any Pastor who calls poverty a disease instead of an opportunity to do charity is a crook.

Any Pastor who preaches on Money more than any other subject is definitely a crook.

Any Pastor who abuses , bullies and intimates his broke members because they cannot pay tithes should be arrested and charged with extortion.

Any pastor who keeps the books to himself and team , despite the money belonging to the church members, should be asked to show transparency in all matters of finance , if he refuses, he should be investigated for fraud.

Any Pastor who asks you to hope for Money instead of working for Money is a rogue.

Any Pastor who is close friends to politicians and dubious business men is a compromiser and Demas.

Be warned !!

I'm sure, if you have a congregation of 10 you deffinately would fall guilty of 2 or 3 of the above, talkless of a big church.

So let us hear word.

wellmax:

You have learnt how to read, next learn how to comprehend.
Where did you hear them say the barrier cost N3B?
The barrier was meant to prevent heavy duty vehicles from using the flyover since there is an alternative route for them (a common practice all over Nigeria).
Its a pity how we politicize everything.

Even at that, should that small bridge cost 3billion? Haba. 3 Billion just for a flyover.

These APC people are the fathers of THIEVES!!!
Religion / Re: Pentecostal Pastors, God Vs. Gospel Comedians - ( Edited ) by oiseworld: 5:41pm On Aug 20, 2013
Nigerians are so fond of fault finding and back biting, reason why we have note put our God given potentials to use. Didn't the Bible warn against correcting another mans servant. You are not his master, he doesn't preach your gospel, you have not called him yet you judge him(them).

You on your part has not raised one disciple talkless of a congregation, yet you find so much comfort in accusing they who have taken their Christ calling to the international level just as Jesus instructed.

You have one head;they have one, you have two hands they have two, you have the Bible; see how well it has profited them. and yet you complain like one who has been robbed. Since you know the gospel better than they, why don't you then lead by example. Abi wetin dey stop you.

Rom 14, has answered this question. What so ever you do, you do unto the Lord. Let men go closer to the new testament to read more and know about God before we begin to argue and debate.

Last time I checked, Jesus came at a time when both men and women wore robes. And their was nothing like trousers.so, who wore a cloth belonging to the other.

Yorubest: You can't be from Lagos and your name will be Uchenna

Lagos is historically, economically
and politically a Yoruba enclave

I would suggest you guys devote energies to developing your region than pushing so hard for what has never been and will never be yours

You petitioned the FG and nothing has come out of it

You threatened and your ultimatums elapsed and still yet you cowardly kept mute

If you know what we did was wrong, you can challenge us in court because as it stands today, we are all under Laws of Nigeria

Firstly, you are wrong about the bolded.

If we are to sincerely take a look at the ops write up, we would agree that uchenna is more a Lagosian than fashola or Tinubu. That he doesn't have a good means of income that he can boast of, and the others have, does not make them more Lagosian than him. Remember when Lagos was the capital, resources where taken from his land to develop Lagos as it is of Abuja today. Unless if truely Uchenna can't relate in any other Language apart from igbo. That would likely make his story false.

This issue is a sensitive one, and can really determine the next phase of planning by the federal government. Let us tread, with our brains.

Obama would never have been deported back to Kenya if he was a miscreant.
