OMG!! You must be kidding me!! So who was the guy the military killed?? shocked

definitely, that was an old video.

these are the same Northerners cheering their hero's boko haram and yet accuse the president of not providing them with security. how can you protect in such a situation whem members of boko haram are their fathers brothers and friends.

The solution to taming this rascals lies in the hand of the governors and religious houses.

IF THE FOUNDATION BE FAULTY, WHAT WOULD THE RIGHTEOUS DO.

"Kwankwaso told northern elders who visited his office that Nigeria is drifting towards calamity because President Jonathan lacks the competence to manage the affairs of the country appropriately"

Sometimes I like the bluntness of Northerners they never fail to remind the world that they're violent people like kwankwaso just did. Only they would know that "blood will flow", that "the country is drifting towards calamity" that " the dog and the baboon will shed blood" just because you feel cheated. Stimulating hatered and biterness from the elders towards the rest of the country.

And he wants to be president.

We are not following your customs. We have Biblical prove to show that our God owns all things, created all days and years, for him where they created and through him where they created.

Try and read from the first page before jumping into conclusions. If I analyze your statement, the deduction about who is or who isn't a f00l might backfire on you.
I do not think anyone disputes that NOAH's ARK was built. Heck, the title of the thread is "how big was it"
The question is how possible would it have been to build an ark so big, it would house all the animals for one year amongst other things.

If what you want is the measurement and size of the ship, then go back to the Bible it gives accurate measurement of the size of the ark. We have ships today that can house every animal in the world. If it can be done now then it could be done then.

Genesis 6 should help.

Exactly. The take it or leave it doctrine. If you believe in it so much, don't you think it is your fundamental duty to make sure I "see" the light.
Won't you be penalized for letting a fellow human go astray? No one is argueing with you. I am simply asking fundamental questions that need answers. I am a fully grown adult and I think if anyone just tells me something and expects me to "take it or leave it", then my parents have wasted money raising me.

With the high rate of floods and tsunami happening around the world today, some f.ools still Question the Biblical story of Noah and the Ark.

Its obviously true that even if Jesus came back to earth those who would still not believe will mot believe.

@op, you have gotten enough advices, I need not say more.
to stay in Abuja town like Garki, wuse, utako, jabi, Apo, maitama, asokoro etc which is like ikeja, maryland, lekki, ogba, apapa, just name it. You should hold your 400k-800k for a single room selfcontain.(boysquarter). Else go outside town.

* transportation and feeding is fair. Abuja taxis are cheap, you can charter taxis for as low as N300 depends on the distance. That's because they have good roads and less traffic.

They have commercial buses too called the elrufai buses (brt).very affordable.

* if you're certain you gat a job, I'll advice to come and take ur chance. You never know what God has in store.
Car Talk / Re: A Nairalander's Bike Trip To The Annual Bikers' Convention @ Jos , Plateau State by oiseworld: 8:00pm On Nov 12, 2013
flexible1:

I dont think you'd be wrong if you call them Power Bikes. It's a slang (perhaps coined in Naija).Just the way we call cars by slangs such as ''Ride".As for your interest in Biking , before starting you may wish to consider some factors - for instance how far out do you wish to ride mostly - long or short distances ? What type of roads would you be riding on most of the times ? Would you be riding everyday of the week ? etc.
There are various types of Bikes each designed for a purpose. Not to say they cant serve other purposes but best suit a particular purpose. eg in cars we have the SUVs, Sedans, Coupes, Estates, Heavy duty etc. Now imagine buying a heavy duty truck for your everyday commuting ! Driving it to and from work everyday. Not that it wouldnt serve your purpose. But it just was not designed for that !
You can easily categorise Bikes based on purpose or engine capacity. There are Sports Bikes, Touring Bikes, Dirt Bikes etc. Then the 250CCs, 500CCs, 600CCs, 750CCs,1000CCs, 1100CCs, 1400CCs etc. The 1000CCs and above are called Super Bikes. They can hit 0-160 KM/H in less than 5 Seconds !! If you are a fan of accelaration ! Needless to say - these are the Bikes to avoid if you are just starting.

How about the BMW made bikes, they are very fast too. Saw one last week in Abj it was official and a soilder rode it. The soilder came down from the bike to harass a woman who insulted him. After people came to beg for the woman he climbed the bike, started the ignition and on gear one he had overtaken almost every car on the road, by the time he put it on two, he disappeared.

The power of that bike should be among the 1000cc and above.

Politics / Re: Northern Muslims must rule for peace to reign (picture) by oiseworld: 12:18pm On Nov 08, 2013
Me_Aboki: OP is just advertising his sheer ignorance, so IBB (gwari), Aliyu Attah (Igbira) and Abacha (Shuwa) are all Hausa-Fulani? SMH.

As for the so called northern dominance, lets examine how things should have played out if the rules of democracy and simple majority were to apply.
Accordingly southerners would never have had a whiff of the presidency or its equivalent because the majority of the monolithic north would always come up trumps first.

Southerners know and are jealous of this and had since been manipulating the rules (shifting the goalpost so to speak) to overcome the northern majority.

When they failed through the ballot box they took power forceful through Nigeria's first coup and failed subsequently after the tables were turned.

Secondly, they tried with some degree of success to forment the seeds of discord along ethnic and religious lines between the core north and the middle belt (though I am not saying that the Hausa/Fulani/Kanuris played no role in this) so as to reduce this majority, and continue to use their southern owned newspapers to stoke the flames of unrest between these northern groups, so that today the north is divided more than ever before.

Thirdly, they introduced the concept of rotational presidency thereby distorting the very principle of democracy - which northerners accepted if only to have peace.

Fourthly, they also introduced the concept of geopolitical zoning for the same reason - which again the north accepted only for sake of peace.

In addition, after laying down these ground rules, who was first to break them out greed? Yes, it was the southerners who insisted on taking over when it was clearly not their turn - even so, the northerners reluctantly accepted just to have peace.

Currently, who is also breaking a gentlemen's agreement to run for only one term so that north could resume its missed turn; if not our present retardeen - where even credible sources such as the BBC have reported on the said agreement, yet in the face of it all this, he and his lying cheating southern folks wish to pretend otherwise.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-1233901

It is very rare in history and highly unlikely for ppl to voluntarily give up power just like that, yet northerners have ceded power to the south for sake of peace.

It is therefore extremely painful to hear some southerners, still wet behind the ears and without thinking, repeatedly spewing out the myth and false propaganda accusing northerners of having a born to rule mentality - wherein it is actually the southerners who have always demonstrated the propensity, via their by hook or by crook attitude, for I must rule mentality.

In view of the foregoing, it should be evidently clear that there would be no formula under which the southerners will be satisfied with the north, due to their (southerners) greed and selfishness.

Therefore the only way forward is for this country to divide - the north would actually be far better off on its own in the long run; while southerners can go on and self implode, consuming themselves in their own greed.

How come I've read ur post over and over again and only the last paragraph seems to make sense.

You claim the north have always given way for peace to reign. I bet you where joking shee?

Northerners have never been gentlemen, they never would be. They are violent people and they have an history for it from the days of Muhammed down to usman Dan fodio and today boko haram. They are the sponsors, the middle men and the willing foot soilders. Pls, history can not lie, we have withnessed with our eyes and heard with our ears, how then then do we lie to ourselves.

I keep praying for the peace and unity of this country, but it seems more and more inevitable.

PasD: you're mixin up two things here. To reject the Spirit is not same as blasphemy! So therefore, not believeing in Jesus is definitely NOT the sin against the HS. This is the part I needed clearity which was the reason I posted this topic.

You rightly said that the pharisees are not christians (but they knew who exactly Jesus was). I'm even confusing my self sef lol.

But I knw you did not get the answer shaa

There exist a portion of the holyspirit in every human being. It is that little portion that first convinces you ( when you allow him) that Jesus is the messiah. You letter get a full baptism of the Holyspirit after you are born again.

Not giving that little measure of the HS a chance to convince you is what the Bible in 1john 5 Is all about. That's what ayoku777 meant I believe.
