The only tools i use for SEO are for competitors analysis, and they are free.
I use SEO Quake (chrome plugin) to know few things about my competitors, and screaming frog to learn more about their backlink information and few more details.
I also use Google KP to get keywords search estimate, and do manual Google search, using some specific "Search Operators" to get exactly what i wanted. Combining all the relevant information i get, i can then continue with my proper SEO strategy.

As regards WordPress, i use Yoast plugin to configure sitemap, search console, meta description and keywords.

Skill training is not very easy for me to do online. However, you can acquire some skills by doing self study with videos. The skills i would recommend are:

1. Bing and Google advertising
2. Email marketing (not the solo ads for traffic generation)
3. Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn advertising
4. Web analytics, and
5. Web debugging

You can learn some of them for free, however you need to spend $$$ before you can master them. Of course, you may not pay a dime to learn, however you'll have to pay to practice some of them.

If the impressions and the view are going down, it could be because Fiverr traffic has slightly go down in the past few weeks or your niche is not receiving enough searches compared to the previous month. Whichever is the case, if the impression is more than 1k and view is over 200, you can convince people to patronize you by adding more values to your gig.

Really bro, Fiverr ranking is now dynamic since they started showing new sellers who's got no reviews along with the top rated gigs. However, you may top the page if you can influence your sales in any way. Again, now that Fiverr search gives search suggestions, you can try to optimize your gigs for users based on their search behavior. Sometimes, people search in a way you wouldn't imagine. For instance, people in Australia might search for "who do graphics design" why others simply search for "graphics designer. So, if i wanted to optimize a graphic design gig for AU people, i will definitely write the gig title as "I Will Do Graphics Design For you".

So, understanding how people use the search is important.

The impression for the first gig isn't doing too bad, however the view and the order is low. Have you done some search to know which gigs in your category appear on the first page? not just the ones that appear, but those that are getting good number of order. If you can identify them, you might need to tweak your gigs and offer some added values to encourage more sales.

You don't need to be a web designer at all. However, these are services that require thorough analysis and understanding of data.

I received an order to work on a website SEO. I have started working on the website optimisation but still need lead from gurus in the house.

Ojasweb please help me out on what needed done to satisfy my client.

If the website is on WordPress, completing these tasks would be good enough:

1. Change the default url settings to SEO friendly URL.
2. Create title and description for the site. You can create title in the settings or from theme customization page
3. Install a good SEO plugin. With the plugin you should be able to:
>>> generate xml site map for the site
>>> configure the
>>> link to search console and
>>> set default url separator (usually &20%) to - or _
4. If there are published articles and pages, update the url for each of them, and choose keywords and meta description.

With all of these, you should be able to write good and impressive report of what you've done.

I've just checked one of your gigs and I think you need to do some modifications on the heading and the packages. The heading should not contradict with the basic gig. Your heading says 5 but the least package says 2 or maybe 4.

Your description is not very impressive. You should be more concerned about the gig (the value you offer for the price), and not defining what you do.
In most cases, people who buy gigs already know what they want and why they want it. What they are expecting in your gig is...

1. How you would be able to deliver it
2. What value they'll get for the price
3. Your guarantee
4. Experience and some other important things

I wrote a free guide on how to write great description for gigs, you can check some of my posts for the link.

And again, you need to do some research and check the gig performance data every 48 hours. If the impressions and views are high, say 1k plus, definitely you need to add more value to your service and update your gig description.

Hello guys, especially to the gurus here @Beatzone and @ojasweb. I've been trying to crate my first gig now for days to no avail. I successfully set up everything to the last page where I'm asked to upload a video, picture and pdf for my gig. After uploading one or two pictures, it just gets stuck. I tried everything I could to have it proceed to the publish stage but it won't.

Please guys help me. What am I not doing right please?

There are two possible reasons:
Firefox browser or vpn.
If you're on Firefox, try to use another browser, preferably chrome.
If you noticed that your vpn is making page load very slow, try to disable it. But make sure that you've already logged in before disabling the vpn.
