That ceepro seems to have a nice reputation. A high frequency inverter can spot up to one half to twice its continouos rating as surge capacity depending on the quality the manufacturers put in it, not mandatorily twice. It's just our Chinese manufacturers that decide to stick with two times surge capacity and that is almost sticking as the standard in the minds of many.

Very premium high frequency brands of inverter will likely spot more than twice surge capacity.

I cook with mine it's rated 1kw but I need something hotter the heat generated from my electric cooker is not as much as what I get from gas. Any suggestion for a hotter electric cooker will be good

I'm about to setup my first system of 2 x 12v x 230Ah Genus tubular batteries with TriStar Mppt 60A, 1600w panels and 24v/2.5kva Prag Inverter or Ipower.

This system will majorly power freezer and fridge.

I intend to fix the second system of 2 x 12v x 230Ah Genus tubular batteries with Morningstar Mppt 45A 1200w panels and 1.5kva inverter soon.

This second system will take care of light load (lighting points and fans)

Gurus should please help me with the following questions:

1) Btw 2.5kva Prag and Ipower, which one has modern adjustable battery type selector switch/voltage setpoint which will match my Genus tubular batteries and cc?

2) Considering the panels size with Mppt 60A CC Max and the losses, do you think getting up to 2000w will be ok?

3) Who knows the ideal voltage setpoint of Genus tubular battery for adequate charging?

@ NiyiOmolyunade, is your Morningstar Mppt 60A still available?

It's an AC breaker rated 100A and my inverter is hybrid with a 70A MPPT. Once the sun is bright and the MPPT is charging in the range of 20 to 30A in bulk, the breaker trips off. Any charging current below that, it won't.
The panels are 9 in 3x3 stings. Each of them is 260W, Imp 8.82A, Vmp 31V. The cables are appropriate and were even revised just to be sure. The only option left was to change the breaker to the appropriate DC.
NB, a similar breaker within the same box on the AC side works fine.

I'm told Deye is very good.

With Deye you don't need morning Star which is an external CC unless you plan to run over 6kw PV array. Though common Deye is 5kw and 8kw.

The federal government under Buhari should take the biggest blame if Dangote refinery fails.........Many cushions put in by previous government to make this project reality was canceled by Buhari, I remember when dollar moved from #199 to #250,The government still sold dollar to Dangote @ #199 sparking uproar in the manufacturing sector......but the current government canceled all the incentives put in by the previous government

I believe this present govt also did the same infact present govt has provided the most support to dangote but do you believe that is fair to the rest of the manufacturing sector.... It's certainly not.
