My brother in that case you don't need to worry much about that, you can't eat your cake and still have it; If you need your room to be cool very fast then turbo does that and it means more use of power. So while running the normal genmode will save more power, there is no way you will achieve cooler room faster other than in turbo mode.

Very funny! Someone should should kill his or battery to proof a moot point. In my humble opinion, I don't know how much is there to gain by using "inverter ac". This is a matter of physics. Unless, the inverter ac makers have found ways of producing or destroying energy, temperature for temperature, the two types of AC will end up consuming similar energy. Starting and stopping consumes more energy overall than allowing the thing to run uninterrupted. Motors need more energy to start than to keep running.

Sorry Oga nìyí. It's far from having that capability. It's quite good as an MPPT though even for such cheap price. Quite an inexpensive true and effective device.

But no serial communication capability. Even the greater rival "MakeSkyBlue" which has some Bluetooth WiFi communication capability does not talk serial. The wireless function is only limited to monitoring on your phone using a pre-installed app.

He is referring to the DC meter..... It didn't have such options @NiyiOmoIyunade

I actually want to see just the BMV and the CC, the cable for the multiplus is just so I can change the settings when I want, the idea of having something I don't have control over is doing me somehow.

wrt emoncms and the Pi, the distance between the Pi and the CC/BMV is too long to use USB cable and Bluetooth wont work*
are you aware of any other way to get the data into the Pi?


*From what I've gathered, the bluetooth API for Victron is closed so it cant be used for integration with emoncms/HA, it only works with the APP




Lol I got them in 2016 and 2018 o, before things went to the next level, I got one out of curiousity, the second came as an EmonCMS base station when I used it for energy monitoring. I've retired that and now run HAOS on that Pi, the second one is a media server.

Try to get the BMV screen as close to your pi as possible since it has a very long cable, I hope that works

I was shocked when I saw my portfolio increase then I realised it was mansard that has changed price but not yet corrected quantity. This one is going to be a long wait apparently

Does the adaptor have a display to indicate voltage? If yes then you can but not for long. You need to stop charging once charge voltage is approaching 14v

It really depends on your budget and need. Generally you want to do Lifepo4 but you may go LTO as well. DIY approach is cheaper but may lack certain esthetic from packaging to certain bells and whistles. However, it gets the job done if done properly
