samnaija: I disagree, no one is a baby you should make your research your self before buying a product. Besides it was greed that brought the buyer to just emmanuel. Every nigerian knows fouani is the original importer of genuine lg products, but he chose alaba boys because of price. Warning only buy from alaba boys when you have done your own investigation. This is greed plain...just emmanuel don start.
Actually it may not be greed for some. I have bought a TV from him before and I told him I need something not too expensive, right from the price and looks of the TV I knew it was not the original lg but it serves me till date and meet my budget needs, that's all that mattered. I have bought other stuff from him that were plain original which includes panels, inverter and solar lights.
I think Emmanuel may be too market centric by assuring customers of the product he is selling and that is very risky especially as he doesn't strike me as he knows all the product in and out as well. This is where due diligence of buyers is also important.
ojeysky: I have got 2 brand new BMV 712 with temp sensor for grabs. 125k each
Q/A Is this the victron BMV 712 with Bluetooth features? Yes Is the price negotiable? No price is firm Sir/Ma Does the price include shipping? No it doesn't, but I can waybill to any part of the country at buyer's cost.
omotoda: My charge controller from zero this morning is presently reading over 2000Watts. Does this represent the power generated so far by the panels? If yes,the panels are just 6 units of 160 watts totally 960watts ,how possible is this?
I think that's the total power it has generated for the day since it's in kwh
Earlier this month, a member "bizzle2" was in need of a solution and we were able to provide a tailor made solution that can fit his power needs and likewise his budget snuggly

Nice one, good to see tight budget and pylontech now exist within the same paragraph Please how much is a module of pylontech now?
mctfopt: Oh, my bad ain't they Chinese? Assumed they are Chinese...because they are just behaving like most of em from that end. I've had some of them honor warranty. But most of them do not honor warranty.
I think WECO is Europe and coincidentally the few Chinese I have dealt with honoured their warranty.
mctfopt: If this company/dude wants to refund you, all they need you to do is ship the products back and send you another working one. I don't understand why they want the user's phone information. Ain't the company getting the bad batteries back?
I've had a company in same China, replace a bad controller without physically seeing the damaged one. All they saw were videos and pictures of the bad one and the next thing I got was a call from the UPS to pick another controller FREE of any charge (shipping and whatsoever).
I think the WECO guys do not want to replace the bad batteries, instead they want to "fix" it which is impossible as it stands now.
This is why some fear dealing with some Chinese companies, they find it hard to honor warranty. They often behave like sellers in most Nigerian markets that'll tell you that their product has a one year warranty, if it fails in six months, they'll start telling you you caused the failure (even when all you did was use it without being abusive to it). They simply HATE to honor warranty.
I just bought some device which a Chinese told me I have two years warranty on the lithium batteries that comes with it, I laugh. The best I can hope for is pray that the device does not fail within that period, for I know they won't be honouring any thing.
Is WECO Chinese? One of the reason I find MPP to be good..... They honour their warranty very well.
Sorry about this experience, for me it's DIY all the way, I see the cells and other components with my korokoro eyes and they see me and behave . Imagine a battery company asking for contacts of my customers! He must be smoking something niyen
They just used the recently concluded rights issue to shave a hugh chunk off their debt
I was impressed by the fact that the majority holders still coughed out enough cash to offset debt and might have no plans of receiving dividend soonest
I have plans for it @ #2
Kai those in the bus already will wonder what you are saying.....I beg o. No give people high blood pressure
Happy Easter to those that celebrate and happy holiday to us all. I am searching for a portable air conditioning system with low power consumption, any recommendation?
solasola: noted thanks. But No solar module qouted and configuration that might work
No solar request was made in your original post. If you want to include solar then get a 48v hybrid inverter and minimum of 2kw solar array. In terms of brand, I have used sunfit and prime they are both fine. Canadian, Yingli, era etc are good brands that you can use depending on your budget
solasola: Gurus,I need your input. A system that will carry 4 250w freezers with I fridge of 150w and TV 100w for 6hours per day. NEPA is available for the rest of the day with an automatic changeover. Pls what inverter size, battery bank(gel) am I looking at. .thanks
I think proper justice has been done to this. If it's a good inverter with at least 2x surge capacity, you should be fine with 3kw inverter but 5kw gives you better band. 8 load acid batteries are fine but if I were you, I will go 48v 200 or 250AH Lifepo4 battery instead

customstreet: The share reconstruction has nothing to do with the nominal price. Nominal price remain 50k. The effect is on the number of shares outstanding and the market price
By outstanding, these are shares not yet bought right? So is there any effect/implications for current shareholders?
If you bought it now, you will not get that rate as your yield. There is difference btw interest rate and yield.
You will most likely buy it at premium. The Bond market is not straight forward as it seems. Consideration will be on many factors like the time to maturity, the dirty and clean prices, face value etc.
They are not new issues but reissued bonds which are already held.
Long story short. Supposed you want to invest 10M naira to buy a reissued bonds of 15%. Due to low yields in the market today, you are likely buying it at premium. Meaning that you may pay up to 12M naira (just a hypothetical example) to get the bond. Every year, 15% of 10M naira and not the 12M spent will be calculated as your annual interest. At maturity, you will be paid back 10M and not the 12M spent. The 2M extra is the cost of getting the bond at 15%.
On the flip side, when yields are high in the market, you could buy it at a discount by paying less than 10M for it. Example, you could pay like 8 or 9M for a 10M bond. You get ur 15% on the 10M. Upon maturity, 10M is paid back to you.
The 10M under this discussion is the face value of your bond.
The only time this scenario don't play out is when there is a new issue like the monthly savings bonds and sukuk
Ades1: Chairman, are these bonds easily accessible by regular investors like myself? 15% guaranteed is huge and is sweeting my body
Perdon my ignorance, Is the 15% annual or after the period of the bond? So if I get a 5 year bond, will I get 15% interest annually or 15% after 5 years? If it's the former I wonder why people do it because getting Zenith Bank shares alone at the right price point will already give a good annual profit from dividends
