OBAGADAFFI: Oba Otudeko used his Airtel shares as collateral for Honeywell's Ecobank loan.
Oba Otudeko used the same Airtel shares (and some Honeywell assets) as collateral for a First Bank loan.
According to news reports, Otudeko’s Airtel shares were used as collateral for Honeywell’s Ecobank loan. Yet, in an interesting turn of events, those same Airtel shares as well as some Honeywell assets were also used as collateral for the credit facility from First Bank.
According to one banking insider, “In a round about way, First Bank now owns the assets pledged to Ecobank.”
“So the same asset (Honeywell and Airtel) is allegedly pledged to Ecobank and none of the banks can move in on these assets. First Bank has an equity position while Ecobank has a debt position.”

yMcy56: Osita already answered .....with much grammar anyway. Lol. "Share price adjustment for dividend" simply means deducting the declared dividend from the share price as at the date of markdown (next trading day after final qualification date). It doesn't affect shareholders who doesn't sell immediately after markdown as such OR, who bought much cheaper......but may affect traders depending on cost price or market situation at the point/date of markdown.
For instance, Mansard closed at 90kobo before markdown on 22nd April. Opened @85kobo on 23rd and still gained 0.05kobo on same day, to close back @90kobo. All na investment risks. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. About mansard is there any news about their reconstruction stuff sef? |

ceaser: I think what he'll be more interested in is the UX and performance as per runtime as it applies to different battery capacities.
Pictures of the set up as seen on listings from vendors always show CC, solar panels and batteries as components.
What you can't tell from the pictures is runtime. I am also interested in knowing that.
Contributions from users in the house will be appreciated. For me I prefer to set-up a small backup system for normal inverter freezer of known brands. I have not seen any DC solar fridges that is of known brands. I also like the flexibility that I can easily put on my gen to power my AC fridge/freezer when the sun is not smiling. Ultimately I don't see much motivation for a dedicated DC solar fridges/freezer |

MrOkenwa: Boss, I heard that our light drops below 80v. That's the reason why I'm looking for something in that range. Can you pls educate me small about this servo and relay? The relay type has something in the range of what I'm looking for but I don't want to make wrong choice. Servos are more efficient, attached is a well summed up comparison. I don't know of a servo at less than 80v but you would get relay at 45v though I doubt it will be useful

Imagine the board is proposing #62 million for director as directors fees and as well as #12million vehicle allowance for the chairman.
This proxy AGM is an opportunity for some rogues in board of the listed companies to strangulate our companies.

ceaser: 9ja.
If they can vandalize rail track as heavy and tight the fittings are, I guess charging stations will be child's play.
I actually think it's a possibility to charge using panels. Just enough panels will be required and high power DC-DC converter. There is one (DC-DC converter) that I worked with. It has a max boost of 96v and 10 amps - that's 960 watts. It's connected to a 320w 36v single solar panel and a 48v DIY 18650 pack. There are days I got up to 240w output from the panel.
The DC-DC converter is advertised to be used for charging ebikes, so I guess a powerful enough boost converter and solar panels should be able to handle daylight charging of an electric vehicle of 250v nominal. And except the input power is something close to what you get from real charging stations, then one must be prepped to wait two to three hours to get the batteries full before taking the vehicle out.
The question now is that of charging for that long during the day something that is supposed to be used majorly during the day. That's the reason why a small solar array can't deliver, a typical charge time from low to full of an electric vehicle normally should not exceed an hour. So high current charging source is desirable. Deye for instance can do 190A charge at 48v but the panels required to achieve that isn't a small something |
