I understand that you want to heat up water with your excess PV as a sort of diversion load?

Since you have a Deye this could be achieved with the secondary AC output? Or else you could attach one of your tasmotas and use it to sense battery SoC or PV state and then switch ON or OFF the load or if too large use it to energise a contactor to switch the load.

These were my first thoughts without any rigor.

Right those are the "how to" Deye secondary input or sonoff is what I plan to use, but my question was actually about "what to" i.e what are people utilizing their excess PV on?

Hello folks, most of the time I now get my battery filled up by noon and I wonder what else folks use their excess power for? Am considering a geyser but does that work in this part of the world? Anyone using it?

Please experts in the house, is it possible to charge a battery bank with 2 inverters?

I looked at these 2 volts battery that hat have 2 positive and 2 negative terminals and was thinking that for effective charging,a charging source ( inverter or solar can be connected on one set of positive and negative while another charging source is connected on the other positive- negative source.Is it possible or why do they have double positive and negative terminal per battery. Even some 2v 1000ah have 4 sets of positive and negative terminals per battery.

You can put more than one charger on a battery so long as the cumulative charging current is within the limits of the battery. A neater way will be to route the chargers to a central busbar and then take a single positive and negative to the battery from the busbar

The multiple terminals on the 2v LA are supposed to be connected together.....my guess is that each terminal represents certain capacity and a combination makes the total capacity but I may be wrong on that. 2v LA people may advice better.

Please tell them where to buy o because buying outside of alaba does not mean it's not from alaba

Your total solar Voltage is important,.make sure it's lower than total vdc of the SPD. Most mini PV set-up SPD are either 300v or 600v. The 300v will be sufficient for most setups but high PVs controllers will use 600 or more depending on set-up.

This is a good installation to have under one's belt.

Since it is a factory, most of the energy demand would be day time so perfect case for an AC coupled install or microinverter deployment. It would be prudent to overspec the PV requirements and also incorporate remote Gen start or mains supply on demand for a stable system. Victron with its Power Assist features will allow use of a relatively small or undersized generator to support the loads and thus reduce overall system deployment and running costs.

I suspect that the factory will not run heavy at night so battery requirements may not be too crazy - PylonTech or WECO or even Alpha ESS in their stacked configuration should handle the needs reliably.

As to inverters, your favorite Victron 15kva can be used in a parallel 3 phase config to support a total of 180kva 3 phase. 4 units in parallel per phase and 12 units in total.

No it won't cost billions - a couple of hundred millions should sort this out.

One such job well executed, a solid maintenance contract in place and the installer is made for life.

Well said and if one wants to make it even more neater, reliable and cost effective at the same time. Go Deye hybrid with up to 16 parallel and 3 phase support with each unit taking over 10kw PV.

From a turbo user I can confirm but men occasionally the gas mileage efficiency is a concern cos the mileage is same with my v6 highlander
