Politics / Re: Yar’adua: Yakassai Cautions Bankole by ojimboIV: 11:29pm On Mar 24, 2010 |
excerpt He recalled that even then, President Yar’Adua had urged him to assume all the duties of the president. Hear him repeat what Yar’ Adua told Jonathan: “I am traveling now; I leave everything under your care. You are free to run the country as you deem fit. You can refer to me only when you feel that there is a need to refer to me.” buffoon yakassai is that what the constitution demands? |

Politics / Re: Yar’adua Returns To Work Next Week - Associates by ojimboIV: 3:37pm On Mar 22, 2010 |
daily trust at it again. According to the top sources, Yar’adua intends to make a national radio and television broadcast to signal his resumption of work as early as Monday or Wednesday next week. They said Yar’adua may not write a letter to the National Assembly intimating it of his return because he did not transmit a letter before he proceeded on medical vacation, even though his spokesman later said Yar’adua recognised Dr. Goodluck Jonathan as the Acting President. bullocks. |
Politics / Re: Turai Would Want Her Husband To Leave Power - Confidant by ojimboIV: 10:53pm On Mar 20, 2010 |
Yar'adua is no longer in power, and probably never will because he's terminal. Here's a proper analogy: your driver (Yar'adua) got sick so you hired another driver (Goodluck) to take his place, but instead of being satisfied you decide to lynch his wife saying she's a witch. It's not in good taste. @seun, has someone hacked into your account? you're goofing on this big time. |

Politics / Re: David Mark - Soludo Misled Nigeria On Banks’ Consolidation by ojimboIV: 4:17pm On Mar 19, 2010 |
david mark is a politician. anybody that expects less from him is on a long thing. he is telling us that his senate committee on banking and finance are a bunch of nitwits. if as watchdogs they failed to see through the smoke screen taking everything soludo 'told' them without thorough evaluation, then david mark should know that he also misled nigeria on banks consolidation because he folded his arms and watched while the masquerade was let loose. |
Politics / Re: Jonathan Shocked us, Say Ex-ministers by ojimboIV: 4:05pm On Mar 19, 2010 |
Ogbulafor, who fielded questions from State House correspondents when he came to consult with Jonathan at the Presidential Villa, said being a PDP government, there was no way the acting president would have embarked on such a major decision without the knowledge of the party. On his part, Mr. Ogbulafor, who spoke to journalists, said the acting president will consult the party before constituting the new cabinet, adding that his visit was to brief him (the acting president) on party issues. "Who told you it is PDP government?" He asked. "PDP is the ruling party, what else do you want? The Acting President will consult us. He did the dissolution yesterday and we will give him time to do the consultation. I am in the State House to brief the acting president on party issues."http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/News/National/5542891-146/speculation_mounts_over_new_cabinet_.csp like ogbulafor, like aondoakaa. these guys speak from all 4 compass points of their mouths. |

can the efcc as a matter of urgency bring closure to this case as quickly as it was masterminded. it wouldn't make sense for them to 'investigate' this case for 2years when the whole drama happened in 2weeks. |

Sun of god: really? please educate us. |

i disagree big b1. ibb after usurping power in 1985 had his chance to clean up the system. he failed woefully in his attempt at 'cleaning the system' for 8yrs. now you're saying he's reformed and wants another shot at it? |
Politics / Re: Nigerians March To Demand Ailing Leader's Appearance by ojimboIV: 4:30pm On Mar 10, 2010 |
@sky b, maybe you should start a thread on voice voting. the issue on ground is both houses have failed us on their lukewarmness to act and that is why i stand by my statement, which may be 'cowardly' and 'lazy' to you - no problem. and yes i took your advice. just sent a strongly worded email to my house of rep member. |
