comedy galore. sunday trust = daily trust ![]() |
excerpt He recalled that even then, President Yar’Adua had urged him to assume all the duties of the president. Hear him repeat what Yar’ Adua told Jonathan: “I am traveling now; I leave everything under your care. You are free to run the country as you deem fit. You can refer to me only when you feel that there is a need to refer to me.”buffoon yakassai is that what the constitution demands? |
mekusxxx:you may be right. |
sounds like lanre babalola to me. ![]() |
daily trust at it again. According to the top sources, Yar’adua intends to make a national radio and television broadcast to signal his resumption of work as early as Monday or Wednesday next week. They said Yar’adua may not write a letter to the National Assembly intimating it of his return because he did not transmit a letter before he proceeded on medical vacation, even though his spokesman later said Yar’adua recognised Dr. Goodluck Jonathan as the Acting President.bullocks. |
Yar'adua is no longer in power, and probably never will because he's terminal. Here's a proper analogy: your driver (Yar'adua) got sick so you hired another driver (Goodluck) to take his place, but instead of being satisfied you decide to lynch his wife saying she's a witch. It's not in good taste.@seun, has someone hacked into your account? you're goofing on this big time. |
Fhemmmy:it's a dog eat dog world we live in. david mark will get his soon. |
david mark is a politician. anybody that expects less from him is on a long thing. he is telling us that his senate committee on banking and finance are a bunch of nitwits. if as watchdogs they failed to see through the smoke screen taking everything soludo 'told' them without thorough evaluation, then david mark should know that he also misled nigeria on banks consolidation because he folded his arms and watched while the masquerade was let loose. |
Ogbulafor, who fielded questions from State House correspondents when he came to consult with Jonathan at the Presidential Villa, said being a PDP government, there was no way the acting president would have embarked on such a major decision without the knowledge of the party. On his part, Mr. Ogbulafor, who spoke to journalists, said the acting president will consult the party before constituting the new cabinet, adding that his visit was to brief him (the acting president) on party issues. "Who told you it is PDP government?" He asked. "PDP is the ruling party, what else do you want? The Acting President will consult us. He did the dissolution yesterday and we will give him time to do the consultation. I am in the State House to brief the acting president on party issues."http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/News/National/5542891-146/speculation_mounts_over_new_cabinet_.csp like ogbulafor, like aondoakaa. these guys speak from all 4 compass points of their mouths. |
yet another daily trust propaganda. |
desgiezd:for no work done. |
dustydee:how a sitting governor gets involved in nff matters beats me. |
can the efcc as a matter of urgency bring closure to this case as quickly as it was masterminded. it wouldn't make sense for them to 'investigate' this case for 2years when the whole drama happened in 2weeks. |
otawa:i'd honestly want to know members of this 'cabal' you are talking about. |
Sky Blue:i must say by hitting the reset button, GJ has given nigerians hope and he should ride on this approval by stamping his name in gold. even if the powers that be oppose his re-election. he can set a legacy in nigerian politics. please do not let us down. ![]() Sun of god:really? please educate us. |
no time to rest on your oars ag. presido. one more thing, though; declare yar'adua INCAPACITATED and let's move on. enough of the distractions. it's too early to say we've turned a corner but we need to see signs of positive change. |
i won't lose sleep over today's meeting. worst case scenario, nothing happens and our frustrations deepen. ![]() |
ok. auwal can you see the inconsistency now? PPRO confirmed 1 death, Thisday - 1 death. where did the 8 folks come from? this is propaganda. end of story. |
chosen04:you can imagine. |
auwal87:you need glasses. |
propaganda. lots of inconsistencies in the report. |
lawmakers quaking in their boots n running scared. this is hilarious. they should come out and tell nigerians boldly whose interest they are fighting for. |
this is the beginning of the end of the people's diminishing party. |
na wa o. future nigeria group. cant wait to see their pics and see the hunger in their faces. ![]() |
i disagree big b1. ibb after usurping power in 1985 had his chance to clean up the system. he failed woefully in his attempt at 'cleaning the system' for 8yrs. now you're saying he's reformed and wants another shot at it? |
@sky b, maybe you should start a thread on voice voting. the issue on ground is both houses have failed us on their lukewarmness to act and that is why i stand by my statement, which may be 'cowardly' and 'lazy' to you - no problem. and yes i took your advice. just sent a strongly worded email to my house of rep member. |
