of course they do, every network does. But they are not meant for mobile phones or single PCs. For instance,the one my uncle uses in his office is unlimited but the subscription is 800k every 3 months. And it needs a server and router. Can you afford that for your PC?

when you exhaust the 2GB, you say goodbye to internet until you subscribe again. I've finished mine and it's NOT unlimited.

Your former plan has not expired, you only exhausted your data size given (1gb or 2gb etc). Simply call customer care on 111 and tell them to deactivate ur former data plan... You will get an SMS that it has been deactivated... Then activate your new plan. QED.

you don't get it. I didn't have an original plan. I was browsing with the #1200 1GB but when that one expired, I tried the unlimited. It didn't work on my pc. I tried activating the daily 10MB as advised earlier on this post but it kept saying that I can't activate it while the UNLIMITED plan is still active. So, am just watching my #1500 go down the drain

I subscribed for the #1500 2GB and tried the daily plan as advised so that It'll work. It refused to activate the daily plan

Airtel, by using UNLIMITED actually meant " UNRESTRICTED 24-7 ACCESS" of 2gb Internet service for 30 days (or till the 2gb is exhausted). That is to say it is not LIMITED to weekends only, peeak or off-peak period of the day etc... You have UNLIMITED internet access 24-7 for 30 days! Not a FOREVER ACCESS like some are erroneously assuming. Kapish Kai... English!!!

seems you didn't understand it either. By YOUR definition, all other BIS are also unlimited. If you read the earlier part of this post, you'd know that someone called them and they said the 2GB is just for show, which is apparently a lie. So, our understanding of the word 'unlimited' is the correct one.

The same thing happened to me. I subscribed for daily 10MB, it didn't work. I tried again, airtel slashed my 200 naira and gave me 20MB. 2hours later, both my money and the 20MB they gave me were gone. Customer care talked nonsense until I stopped calling them. Anyway, am still using airtel because, apart from glo BIS which doesn't work on PC, airtel is the only service that has 3G network where I stay.

Recharge a 100naira and subscibe to airtel's daily plan, this would activate your 2GB + 10MB to work till the eXpiry date of your BIS

Won't work. It will say that you are currently on another plan and can't migrate until you deactivate the one you are in.
Anyway, am using the unlimited on PC and it works perfectly without any tweaks. Mine's remaining 900MB. I really don't like airtel said it's unlimited when it's not. I haven't finished mine yet but the rate it's reducing, I don't have any hopes of it working after I exhaust my data

yep with the use of modem. and yes, you can subscribe with ur phone. But am not sure yet if the unlimited works with pc and non BB phones

some say glo bis is still working on pc, others say it isn't. can someone tell us categorically if it has started working again. I'm currently using airtel bis and saying that 1gb is little is like saying that Dangote has some money. I can't use MTN of Etisalat because there don't have 3G network where I Stay

I think us, not politicians are the problem. We are too much of comformists. Inasmuch as it's good 2 pray, we should not just sit and wait for God to come down and do it for us. If someone as powerful as OBJ was, could fail with third term manipulation, then no one could succeed if we don't sit back and watch them manipulate us!
