Family / Re: My Husband Always Shouts At Me In Public by okangisaiah(f): 11:05pm On Nov 14, 2016
thewife306:
Before anyone would ask if he wasn't like this before marriage. No he wasn't. He never cautioned me harshly in private not to talk of in public.
When we were newly married he shouts at me in his younger brother's presence. (Why will they give me respect)
He did it in the presence of our plumber cos I told him the prices of the items were expensive.
Then our househelp. He does it so often that I begin to wonder what point he was trying to prove. To the extent that the lady started losing respect for me and giving me attitude anytime I caution her. That he even told her not to do what I asked her to do.
Then the most recent was in church. He was struggling wit our toddler that he fell and I asked him to leave him. He just started shouting and everyone was looking.
I really am not happy. And unknown to him, this is reducing my love for him. Cos i cant love someone dat disrespects me. I use to love telling people how wonderful he is but these days I cant. It's affecting my relationship with him.
I'm considering embarrassing him back the next time he does it so he knows how it hurts cos he doesn't see anything wrong with it and never apologize. He says he doesn't like hiding his feelings. I ask "even when your words hurt your spouse".
I'm worried cos we might be travelling soon and if he embarrases me in front of family members i might lose my temper.
I need mature advises here pls. As i do not want to involve 3rd party.

The first time I went to my husband's village for introduction to his family, my husband's step mother refused to give him food meanwhile there was food in the house. My husband just came in with anger and started shouting that I don't have the qualities of a good housewife, when I asked what was the problem he said he was hungry and I as his so called wife was suppose to prepare him food. I was surprise cos its a polygamous family house and that's my 1st day of stepping in there, how do I know when to reach boundary and stop or if they've accepted me. I just kept quiet..

Fast forward to 3 months later, in the public with so many people around if you see the way my husband shouted at me like thunder just because he was angry (which was no fault of mine) , hmmmm I returned the shouting/disgrace back with the same speed it came. Hussy was so surpised cos I had always played the good woman. Till date he hasn't tried the shiiit again.

Very simple dear, I once had the same issue, my boss disturbed me constantly and someone gave me an idea which worked like magic.

One of this days, my boss confronted me in a tight corner and was sure of doing it. This is my magic:

Sir , you know I love you so much but I am being restricted by the covenant I made with my hussy to be. That we made blood COVENANT and swear that if I had s...x with him I will run mad while the man will die instantly. So I don't want him to die and live his family. The man was afraid and that was the end of my stress

I Concord your words, she successfully humiliated her hussy in the public. What happens to talking about it to him in the "other" room than airing it in public for the whole world to hear. Buhari too never responded well, this is to show the world that there is no peace in the family. I'm just thinking of the embarassment their children are going true.

I asked a lawyer friend of mine and he told me every bail money being decided in court are remitted to the government. I was like, no wonder these people like bail so much

U will be surprised Dat just after one or two years in prison, he may be granted bail.

BRO bail is free in court

Op, this not new. Most of the food items we eat are processed in the worst hygienic conditions.

From meats been washed in dirty water, flour been molded with sweat driping from the chef's fore head to edible fruits been washed in rivers that serves as a channel to the latrine of a nearby toilet and many more.

Na God dey save person

I don't know where to begin but post this with a sad heart.
Before I started my course, I had this feeling that I wasn't meant to be in that department. I was encouraged by friends and family members to continue that I'll have interest later on. My results kept on getting bad but instead of it motivating me to work harder, it changed me entirely and I am doubting myself cos I know how good I was compared to what I keep seeing on my results.

Does fate really prevent progress or what?

300 level sitting on 1.1 something and I don't expect it to improve cos I think my mindset is really affecting it; meaning no matter the amount of reading I do, it won't really work.

I thought a lot of guys and they're doing pretty well, don't know what's wrong.

it's appalling when people who look up to you are doing better than you.

What if I switched departments back then? I believe things wouldn't have gotten to this stage.

I just need counselling from you guys.

it's really serious and I'm sad.

Even people who used me to brag back then would be shocked to find out about my current situation.

My dear I want to use myself as a case study.
I attended one of the federal universities to study Accounting (my choice from secondary school). At the end of 5years of study, I realized I had so many missing scripts and resits. These are courses I had passed. I tried meeting the lecturers for correction but the more I try, the more I discovered other missing scripts.

I was asked to pay 250k for 3rd class. I paid but it did not work out. A pastor introduced me to buy certificate from 'genuine ' source after all the arrangements, the thought of the future if caught brought fear to me. Another exam officer said he is incharged I should pay 200k for 3rd class. My friends, colleagues and hussy advised me to pay get the result and do pgd.

In all this, I know my intellectual capacity and level of intelligence then why should I move about with 3rd class. After 10 years(5yrs for schooling and 5yrs to sought out result, I decided to start afresh though no one stood by me. On the day of making this decision, I almost cried my life out but I took the bold step. Today I am almost graduating with a 1st class result from the same department no soughting, no payment . I'm always praying God to help me achieve that.

DEAR OP IT IS NOT HOW FAST BUT HOW WELL.

You can not write more than 24 credit load per semester. So write the 8 courses (23 credit) if you can, then for next 4 semesters, add the four you missed one per semester. Remember, it is not how far but how well and good.

All the best
Thank you so much. I appreciate your advice

I once bought bobo star for my 3 years old daughter, my instinct told me to taste it, to my greatest surprise it was sour and smelling.

Since then, I make it a point of duty to taste whatever my children want to eat even water.
