Always think before u talk. If the electricity environment was not libralized at the federal level, things like this would have not been possible. Do you know since when lagos have been trying to do something like this, from the Tinubu days. have u ever heard of the Enron power project before. Even during the Fasola Era IPPS were built but they could not go beyond government own establishment because of the then existing laws.

How do you mean there is no headway? The lagos lightrail project can never be compared to any of this projects because the rail is not built as stand alone. Apart from orile to cms where it is suspended, the rail is bundled with aditional 10 lane expressway. The elevated rail has sections that cross the lagoon(this no be beans my brother). Work is still going on daily as we speak. At a point, there was delay at the lagoon site due to a ship wreck which needed to be evaquated.

The hardship encountered by road users plying Nteje-Nengo Bridge will soon be a thing of the past with the ongoing construction work on the bridge.

Works Correspondent Ngozi Obileri monitored pace of work on the project and reports that
When ABS arrived Nengo bridge Nteje, massive work were on going at various stages including earth work and drilling of beams among others.

Speaking to ABS, the site Engineer, Mr. Magdy Khoyri explained that work started three weeks ago on the thirty six meter bridge project with two apartments.

Mr. Khoyri noted that they would complete the second apartment before Christmas.

He added that the contract which is only for the bridge would be handed over to the state government in April next year.

Hello, my friend. Thats not true, Fashola had already presented the states request to the FEC. Ambode was not just ready to wait for the the process of approval to be completed. Dont forget, the federal government would still pay back the money used for the reconstruction to the state. If the FEC does not append their signature, thats money down the drain for lagos state. Imagine if APC is no longer in government beyond 2019. Fashola had already removed that road from the about to be prepared 2017 budget because the state had requested to rebuild the road.
