I own a company and i intend using my company and personal money to fund the trip. I intend to go on a 4-7 days business trip to France, and hoping to visit either Spain or Portugal.

1) Pls were can one get a booking for flight and hotel reservation without being charged?

2) What is the best provider for insurance one can easily process online?

Prices has increased in all visa applications even in VFS I book and paid for appointments at VFS portal but when I get there i was charge extra to reflect the change in price after I paid for appointments.
Visa fee increased as well as courier service
See the fee analysis given to me at VFS
This is for Schengen visa ooo. Last time I got visa at VFS I paid less than 65k visa fee last year
The courier service you pay is for both sending your application and receiving from embassy by TLS and sending your passport to you from TLS

With regards the visa rejection, you cannot do anything about that.......

You next battle is with airline, did you buy a refundable ticket or non refundable.........

Finally PPR.
The journey started in October 2022 when I did medicals for UK but the TB x-ray came out with scars in my chest and I was told to do sputum test. Result came out 28th of Dec 2022, 2 came out positive and 1 negative. I had to start treatment for 6 month and didn’t pursue the UK anymore. However, decided to apply for Canada study permit during the end of my treatment in May. I applied for Canada study permit May 31st and got denied June 22nd due to proof of fund even with 26m. Their reason was, I had the money quite alright but my salary cant provide me such huge amount, so I had to reapply and explain I got cash gift a year ago from my dad and showed when it entered my account a year ago. I also went further to get GIC certificate and paid 85% of my school fees since the school didn’t allow me to pay 100%. This was to proof that the money is mine and not for show off as they previously thought. By the way I had to do another sputum for Canada medical and also see a lung specialist to be sure I am perfectly okay. It was an interesting experience of almost a year. I thank God it ended in praise. Thank you @ketima for your advice, thank you @bigsammy for guiding me on GIC and how to draft LOE. Also, thank you @bobomaigida for reviewing my sop. God bless you guys. I hope this helps someone out there.

Can college is not eligible for PGWP, hope you're aware of this?. As for your question, is it USD card you are making the payment with? If not try using USD card.
