I was being blinded by love to the extent that my boyfriend and I took a blood covenant, that was about some years ago..

The truth is that I was so madly in love with him, and when he brought out the ideal, I thought that was the only way he will be mine forever. So I agreed with him, and we made the convenant.. We use needle to cut out blood from our thumb, and we made a vow never to live each other or make love with another person..

i've been discussing with him to end this convenant, but he always refuses. We took the convenant when i was 17yrs, and Its been 8years now, and i've loved only him. Even though i don't love him again, i'm afraid to have or make love with another person.
he say we can't end it and that we must mary each other.

I already found someone else i love, i'm planning to report him to the police or his parents if he dosn't give me a chance to go away..

I am trying very hard not to say something. U cant tell tell me u have never watched the repercussion of this on nollywood. Then why did u go into it sweetheart. Let me just chip this in. From my observation here in the UK, these indians are genius. If according to what i know about genius. In our Java Class, a guy who resumed in September completed the coursework in less than 3 hours. What will all have been doing group meeting for, this is a guy who came barely October ending nearly a week to end of course. He has never coded in java. All the oyinbo gather the guy like he was einstein. I also notice same in cyber forensic class, in our lab we have classwork for two hours, before twenty minutes the indians will submit and leave the class. When we are still studying the classwork description, trying part one.

Those guys are good and best thing about them is their cooperation is out of this world. Northerns dey learn work for where this guys dey. An Indian guy who resumed late see are dey gather the guy give him all the materials, speak their language adding him to course group. Before a week the guy was already settled. Mine case was different the only Nigeria guy there dey speak phoney, behaving like something I don't know, because he has been in the UK for quite a long.

From what our seniors here have said, and what I heard on blogs, I can say the indians are just like the people from the northern part of Nigeria. They always look for ways to accommodate their own. That is the reason people from the North will keep going higher in any area you find them in Nigeria and not because of intelligence.

According to her, when the sister comes to Nigeria they sleep on the same bed. But when she visited uk, the sister gave her mattress to sleep on the floor in the same room. Even though the bed could accommodate two people comfortably.

Banks no longer give Pounds for PTA since about July this year. You can only get pounds from the Black Market or you travel with your dollars and change it with a BDC when you arrive the UK.

Have u done it before? Don't Try it o. Change the dollars to naira and then convert to pounds. It is better that way. The commission they collect and the the cross rate is high.

Please I'm in dilemma and really need some good advice.
This guy and I have been on this relationship thing for 5 months now with occasional misunderstandings here and there. The first one was because he visited me and refused to go after the time he said he would leave, when he finally left I got back home from work only for the security to call me that I have a visitor at the main gate and behold it was him.
I allowed him stay the night because he's a nice guy, really good in bed and also helps in the house to do stuff like wash the dishes and cooking.

Fast forward to December 15th we agreed he comes over and we spend the Christmas at my place then go to his place from 27th so we can enjoy the new year there. As we agreed, he came to my place on 17th of December and has not made any moves to leave or for us to go to his place. I am moved to create this thread because I got home from work yesterday and noticed more of his things have been arranged in the wardrobe with his shoes arranged by the front door..

Please how do I address this? I can't go on like this. He eats a lot. Snores also.

If an employer decides to give Christmas gifts to employees, will this gift be taxable? If the gift is a bag of rice how will it be taxed? If the monetary equivalent, will it be taxed?

Those things are taxable if u really want to follow the law under PIT. They are called BIK benefit in kind and 5% is the total value is taxable. But u can just find one expense head and warehouse there. Then under CIT certain conditions have to be met for it to be tax deductible. Such gift must bear the company name on it. Which we know bag of rice will not meet that criteria. So just spread it across some expense heads and don't describe it as bag of rice cos if FIRS gets hold of the GL, it will be disallowed.

People hardly use it because it is not as fast as walk-in. You'd be given appointment and you'd have to go on the appointment date and it's usually days after your booking, it varies. But walk-in is fast, your appointment can be next month and you do walk-in tomorrow.

They could get a closer date by choosing that option.

2. Should he contact UKVI via paid mail or call, and inform them?

Please, I would like to ask, is it a must that a sponsor signs on letter of invite?( as applicable to me, my uncle who is a Brit, has invited me for a visit to the UK-standard visiting visa and as such had sent an electronic copy letter of invite).
Note: Attached with the electronic copy of the letter are copies of his P60 and int'l passport.

Very tough. I applied for social work at Liverpool Hope and Manchester Metropolitan University and Lincoln University and adult nursing for two other Uni. For social work (Liverpool Hope and Man Met) it's a written test and oral interview. YouTube has videos to help you how to answer oral interview questions for social Work. Be ready to burn data.Lincoln was just oral interview but it was tougher than other oral interviews. Passed both Man Met and Lincoln interview. For Liverpool Hope I passed the oral interview but failed the written test. However it was my first Social work interview so I just prepared for the rest and passed. The written test is all about using your initiative and unpredictable because you don't even know where to read from . I ended up going for Adult Nursing tho. Goodluck.

As in payment through Form A for your maintenance?. No.
If its accommodation fees, dats if you are staying in school hostel n have the bills from the school you can.

maintenance money can be gotten through Form A. But when there is no funds banks come out with different things see page 2 of the link below.

no let greed push you too far o. Once NHS is not your direct employer, you cant work unlimited hours. That publication was very clear but you may as well go ahead and do it if you want to and face whatever consequence that comes with it. But do not sound this to anyone as a piece of advice as it is against the rule.

From your explanation, the money was less than your POF. If the money goes less than your POF, even for a second, then you have to start counting again.

I did subscribed for a year too. Infact, I subscribed when the annual subscription was still about 61k. Unfortunately, It declined my IHS payment upto 10times(I had to start new Visa application like 3times) . I wasted money calling their customer service several times, chatted them, went physically to the bank, they couldn't reconcile the issue. They kept saying there's no problem with the card, I should try again in the next 24 hours. For over a week I tried, no way! Although I successfully used it to pay Visa fees($486), it could not even pay for Priority service afterwards. Well, for me, I feel Access bank cheated me.

When I did mine it was at night on a weekday. The people I knew had this problem used it on a weekend. Can u confirm?

If it's Access bank's exclusive signature card stuff. Na sorry things ooo. You can only use it for a maximum of $500. And the rate is about 470 to one dollar. I'm speaking from experience.

Noo it is the one u subscribed for. I am speaking from experience I used to pay ihs, visa and priority fee. It has a 2000 abi 3000 dollars a month. Although 1st to 14th is 500 dollars but from 15th upwards u can spend the whole

To be honest I don't know. For instance, I received a nsf mail last week to show evidence of deposit into my account above 1m. I had to scan deposit tellers of these payments to ukvi. U can imagine if I dint have these tellers.
So it is best not to show money above 1m in ur soa.
Just avoid the stress.
Am waiting for a favorable response from them this coming week.

Seriously? For me I just decided to make my application tight cos i didnt want delay of any sort. I fact u are getting the mail cos it is student visa if it was visitor na another story be that o. I did receive a substantial amount and I explained putting evidence of how the money came about.

I was having a random chat with a friend today on things to be careful of when packaging applications and he said "once you start counting your 28-days PoF maturity, ensure you don't receive a substantial amount of money in the same account, else you'll have to explain the source of the money". So in context, if you need 5m for PoF and you already have 5m+ in the account, ensure any deposit coming to the account within the maturity period is something below say, 50k per transaction. if you drop say like 500k or 1m in the account, you'll have to explain the source of the money.

I kind of disagree with him, I believe the concern should be the money not going below the required amount. In the case where 5m PoF is required, and the opening balance is 5m, even if the closing balance is 7m, it shouldn't be an issue.

There is no right or wrong thing here. Thread on the path of caution. One person may get away with it and the other way may not. It doesn't cost you anything to explain. Aftermath before now, people were not submitting cv to explain study gap
