Na their way. They always assume every country is lawless like our motherland. God finally catch am and the accomplices. |
Those who read the report saw no mention of the phrase ‘lazy youth’. This is another example of fake news hitting Nairaland. |
Yawn. This is the same old sh-it she always does for attention. |
Baroba:It was. The platform you watched it on probably didn’t care. |
This movie wasn’t bad. It had weak points but I hope it will pave a way to a new Nollywood style. The drone shots were nice. I didn’t see any scenes where things were unnecessarily drawn out due to lack of imagination. I love the stamping of Igbo language in the movie. Although I don’t understand the language I enjoyed the scenes it featured in either way. I loved the family dinner scene, it was reminiscent of those from The Nutty Professor. I enjoyed how Onyeka Onwenu portrayed a strict but loving mother, she played it naturally. I believe the character was made for her. Nkem Owoh was funny in his own way. The bad though was the story. The story was bland. They kept making an issue of how Genevieve’s character was a woman and how it’ll hinder her success in things yet everything smooths out in the end without explanation. Kalu’s character realistically had no motivation for what he did. In real life only a step son/ bastard of the owner or fellow relative will do such. His character having no relation didn’t give weight to his actions. I believe his acting was underused. Onyeka was portrayed as a strict mother but didn’t extend this quality towards her son, why? Why was Peter in the movie again? Four days were pulled out of the countdown and never used to cushion the deadline. WTF. If I continue with this write up I’ll hijack this thread. On the whole the movie was good. I give it a 6.5/10 and will recommend it especially for the use of Igbo. |
sharpman1:The person who thought up that scene needs flogging. External auditors do that only to junior workers in a company not owned by them. Also if the workers are confident there is no corruption in their records no one can boss them around. In real life a CEO and fellow director are meant to bully auditors around since they are the ones who will pay for the work with their hard earned money. |
bingbagbo:Lol. It’s the sakawa boy who goes by the name BIGVAJINA. So this is one of your alternates. |
She’s thirty this year so is officially retired from my list of potential wifeys. |
Nigerian men like compliments? I don’t believe this! |
OP claims cacophony is the best music in the world. It's a good thing he stated it was his opinion. Opinions are like excuses, everyone can think one up. As such my opinion is I believe his opinion is rubbish, just like the music he supports. |
Good luck to her. |
She looks good. If she opens her mouth to speak the whole illusion will die a quick death. Alex is a ghetto female with little home training |
Three photos of the same thing? #fail. |
...and this is why I’ve sworn to escape the country. Who is going to build a country where its leaders have lost hope? It’s surely not me. |
I like the picture but I know in real life she doesn’t look so. |
I remember once coming across a female of her height wearing heels. I was flabberwhelmed at how she towered over everything. At 5’7 she was over a foot taller than I was in those pair of heels. I heard a homeless guy shout from the side "that’s a man, mate. There’s no way that thing is female.”. There’s nothing wrong with her height. Her mates here in Nigeria date men 5’10 - 6’0. She should fix her confidence issues first because nobody likes insecure humans. |
Who is this ugly wide-nosed idiot looking for clout? |
This is what juju and its many stories is https://www.waltons.co.uk/_imagesWT/products/2018-D9461%209%201000x1000.jpg ...aimed at the effective scaring of black people. For thousands of years it has worked, the same as the many stories of witches yet nobody can correctly identify nor describe one. The unenlightened will say it is real and works but until they explain how it ignored the theft of artifacts, capture of humans for slavery and lynching of tribal chieves and similar rulers in order to colonize blacks they are in for a long thing. |
Mscheew. Being in the house she was meant to show us madness but failed, woefully to say the least. Let her keep the craze to herself. |
I see designers are not patronizing the music industry in the same way they do for movie actors. The tradition normally is, a dress for the red carpet, another for sitting to watch the show and then [an]others for performances. |
Where is the Steam Engine now? I remember a lot of noise was made about it at the time. I see it failed to catch up or meet expectation. If a device does not have Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft inscribed on it, I will not buy it. I can’t f-uck around and get something which’ll eventually collect dust when I can easily buy a gaming PC. [UPDATE] Steam Machine not Engine. I prefer the name Steam Engine so I'll leave the original comment. |
crafteck:Isn’t that what gaming consoles are nowadays? The last true console to me was the PlayStation 2. Anything from then upwards is just a stripped down PC. The trend started with the original Xbox. |
That’s an act of trickery used back in the day. Religious leaders ordered common folk to burn incenses and psychoactive substances in fires under the building of worship and send them through pipes into the congregation. Their elevated state was then described as the influence of their deity. Weed smokers do the same inside closed cars and near airtight rooms. Religion is only another form of mass convening for a specific reason. It is no different from criminal gangs, the military or prison. |
If you can desist from the hunger and thirst it induces then there’s no problem. I know Muslims who engage in pre-marital sex during fasting periods so I don’t see anything wrong with smoking weed. |
All the good deeds of man shall eventually get forgotten. It takes only three generations before everyone forgets you totally. Why should I care what people think of me again? |
OP is a bastard. Oya na, someone should confirm their poor education by countering my fact. |
This woman needs a stylist. She also needs a refund for the cheap cosmetic surgery she underwent. She is in the wrong business. I foresee a lot of medals won for our country or her state if she originally partook in sports. Someone should point me in the direction of a High Definition Soundcity livestream. The awards show would have made more sense being viewed in such format. |
All these no-name blogs which post rubbish. Why didn’t any of them decode who the baby’s father was before the main source? Abegi, to me this is another made up story. |
