If your phone is rooted, forget about the permission manager stuff bro. Most of those apps secretly obtains root access. As at today Android is the OS with most vulnerabilities, even Windows for pc didn’t come close.

You are right that no OS got it figured out 100%. The funny thing is, Android is becoming more like iOS with subsequent versions by being “restrictive”. This is actually a good thing in my opinion as it makes it more difficult for malicious actors to hack your phone.
