I want to submit a passport to vfs global for TRV. But they no longer accept in person drop of. Can someone please tell how to go about it via courier and how much it would cost. Thanks in advance

Know this: IRCC does not specifically request for transcripts but they have a copy of your ECA report, and your date of birth (from your transcript I think) is clearly written on your ECA report. You don't want to spend all these time and money getting into the pool and receiving an ITA, only for a discrepancy in your DOB to affect your chances.

Not really. The date of birth on your eca report is what you provide(application form&passport). Most transcripts don't even carry dob. Unilag(cmul), unilorin, lautech(i think) do not carry age. It's easy to know. Request for an official transcript, use a made up company name as the recipient&use your house address. Wes used to use waec&neco to confirm age before but for some reason they stopped

I don’t think you should post information that isn’t on IRCC’s website just because you have siblings over there.

I also do not think anyone is sure if POF is locked on submission date or the day they review your application so to be on the safe side, let POF be in excess.

I happen to have worked with people who have had their applications rejected due to PoF and other employment issues.the most reoccurring reason is that they done show enough evidence that they'll be able to support themselves or have a close relative who can support them in Canada. Also, info sharing, misrepresention checks, criminality and security aren't on IRCC’s website, neither is the agent/analyst check and officer's approval on IRCC’s website. But they're integral part of the application. Not all information is on IRCC’s website brother. Lastly all those "toubled" applications are where the most experience is gained. I'm an avid believer of " i don't know" being a valid answer so I won't post something if I don't know it. I was the first person to post on NL with proof that you can get extra certificate from acca foundation program when everyone said it's not possible and bcs is the quickest way to get an extra certificat. I won't say what is not true✌

Check the exchange rate of the day you print your bank statement, print out what the exchange rate shows, attach it as loe to show your money is up to the equivalent of their cad for that day. That's what I advise people to do. You have no knowledge of what they use so make use of the knowledge (exchange rate)you have

I once said on this forum that ircc does not use the daily exchange rate&some so-called "experts" nearly blew my head off. They even showed me a page on cic website where the daily conversion rate is shown. But extensive research has made me know that the daily exchange rate is shit. For example, when I submitted, the exchange rate as at that day was 283 thereby putting my pof to $13,100. When I received my gcms note, all the funds aspect showed met except the analyst note which carried RR nd when I checked the available funds aspect in the note, I saw $11,814. To get 11,814 you need to use about 310 as the conversion rate. So I checked the "daily" conversion rate the experts talked-about from the day I submitted till the day the gcms was generated, none of them got me 11,814. In November someone submitted the same amount I used for PoF nd when we received gcms note, the available funds was 13,700. There's proof if you still doubt. I know another person that submitted 400k less of the PoF nd still got ppr. My point is I do not say what I do not know

If your PoF is in a foreign currency, the RR is very common. It is just an indication to the officer to review before marking it passed.

Understanding “Review Required” (there's a long note under this but let's just skip to where we need)

Finally, there is “review required” for PoF. This is the most common in many applications. This is because, the financial and banking practices of each country are different. Eg. Fixed deposits are know as Certificate of Deposit (CD) in the US. Similarly, treasury bonds, mutual funds, stocks, and many other investment vehicles are there. If your PoF anything other than a bank deposit, it is more likely that it will be marked as “review required.” Also, IRCC does not go by day to day fluctuations in FOREX. Instead, the Canadian federal government issued a quarterly conversion rate for all FOREX vis-a-via CAD. If your PoF is in a foreign currency, then you will have “review required” for the officer to make a determination.
Just because you have “review required” does not mean that you hit the panic mode. Instead, read the context in which it is there. If there is a concern regarding a document, you can send a replacement document via CSE.

Stop worrying about this, it's normal. Review Required is compulsory for outland application majorly cos of PoF. It's pretty standard. Your eligibility has probably not began. Check the section where there's eligibility in the gcms, if everything is 0 then eligibility hasn't began. As it is, you don't seem to have any issue. You should pass eligibility without an issue ceteris paribus

You can check online, you’d see immigration lawyers with good reviews.

If you decide to go ahead with the consultation, don’t reveal a lot of personally identifiable information, in that way you can walk back if you change your mind about retaining the services of an immigration lawyer.

Use Campbell-cohen. It's the best immigration firm in Canada(I believe) your situation is misrepresentation. Speak to them before you begin. You can even choose not include all five siblings, trust me it's of little impact to their coming to Canada. But the children aspect is the dicey part

You don't have to worry about any fluctuations. The exchange rate of the day you submitted, using either xe.com or oanda.com and which you must have gotten the screenshot/submitted along your application is all (the reference) that matters..

So I thought too until I received my gcms note. They have a quarterly fixed rate they use. It's extremely different from the fe they even post on their website. For example, you can submit $13000 and the system automatically flags your application for minimum funds requirement met but the analyst handling your file will use the exchange rate of the day he's working on your application to calculate the cad equivalence. People who have ordered gcms note will notice this difference. They have a fixed rate we all don't know about

Congratulations my friend, you have successfully navigated through the mucky waters of express entry. Relax and keep praying, ppr should drop soon. But you're in accra visa office soooooo might not come in soon but be rest assured that you're getting the ppr. Once again Congratulations mon ami. Request a webform probably by month end to see if your eligibility has changed from recommended passed to passed/valid/complete. Also, it shows that you haven't paid RPRF. If you haven't, try to pay it asap&upload the receipt as it might delay your application

This information isn't enough to go on. Send the eligibility page as well as the notes. But from the look of things, background check hasn't even begun because criminality is still not started and security won't start until eligibility is passed

Write a brief letter of explanation showing how you got the 1.5 back and back it up with proof if you have one. Failure to do so would lead to one of 3 things. Rejection for undisclosed information(vo will think you borrowed the money), adr for bank statement or an interview. For your own good, write a concise loe for that 1.5

What you explained is exactly what i mean. Writing a letter and attaching evidence of sale of property is you explaining how the huge sum landed in your account.

Some people may have gotten contracts over a period and would like to clarify how/why they were receiving huge payments. Thats what i was referring to when i mentioned explaining cash flow over time. You have nothing to fear.

For the sender of the money: No

For you: bank letters and statement showing the money, not necessarily 6months unless you have cash flow over that time that you need to show as evidence of part of your POF.

Pls what'd you mean by having cash flow yoi need to show as evidence? Before the lock down, I had more than enough for pof but by the time I got ita in the first draw after that long break, the money had reduce so I sold my car and added the money to the pof. I kind of concerned about it because i paid in about 1.9 to my account. But I added a loe including the receipts of purchase when I first got it and also receipt of sale. What'd you think? I'm really concerned because I heard they're usually concerned about funds that come in after ita

No need for msc transcript. How do you even have it in the first place Must be unofficial copy and ircc requires only official copies. Also, you only need your passport data page and not the stamped pages. Lastly, does the noc bear any form of semblance to what was listed in the noc page? If it does then it's OK. But if it doesn't then you can make adjustments. At least two or three descriptions should fit your job role

Your PoF has nothing to do with your application fee($825), right of permanent residence fee($500) and biometric fee($85).
You only submit bank documents for PoF and pay the others like u paid for WES, IELTS & and will eventually pay for medical.
It is usually advised that u have more than the specified PoF amount to forestall unstable currency exchange rates if you are showing the funds in shameless naira.
E.g: 12,960 x 285 = 3,693,600; exchange rates can suddenly become as high as 295. So it's safe to have like 3.8 or 4m as PoF I think so that no matter the exchange rate when VO decides to work on ur file you will still be within the expected PoF bracket.

This is not true. Ircc have a fixed rate for currency exchange and it's not up to the "285" you claim which is the current exchange rate. I know a lot of people who applied with upto 100k 150k even 200k difference from the current proof of fund and they had no adr.

I used opentuition. Kaplan isn't as comprehensive as opentuition text nd podcast
