Mummy4life1: Dear Guru's,
I need your advice.
My program is only September intake.
Should I reply for the program or I should seek another admission for January intake in another school.
waiting for your advice please......
Thanks. Getting another admission will take about one month or more. Then you have to file for another visa application. With IRCC's backlogs, chances are high that you wouldn't meet up with January due to delay in processing time. If you could get an admission for May, that'd be perfect. Still, you can risk it and submit your application probably late October. Maybe you'll get lucky and you'll get an approval before January. All my best 1 Like |

Aktob: Please nairalands, kindly advise me on the steps to take to Canada, I just collected my international passport, I have B.sc in Political science (Public Administration). My dream is to travel to Canada, do my master's and work as permanent resident. Meanwhile am also an electrician and presently I work in a bank in the POS unit. Please kindly advise me. Hello Aktob, You could consider a career in Public Administration/Public service. Or, you could consider a career in Electrical/electronics eng. First look at your profile and choose which you'd prefer or which career will suit you better in Canada. After that, make your research on Colleges/universities that offer this course. Choose the best school weighing in factors like tuition, career prospects, length of study, program details, accommodation in the province the school is located in, if the school offers post graduate work permit, if the school is an approved DLI. Apply to 1 or 2 schools. You can apply for Sept 2022 semester to enable you time to submit your study permit application. Ask for more information here. You'll get all the assistance you need. 2 Likes |

What course of study do you intend to pursue? What is your previous field of study? |

mykelmichie1: Guys please, is it still possible to get admission for study starting January 2022 and also visa appointment. I learnt Canadian visa does not take time as much as other countries like Germany and the rest. This is urgent please. Thanks
If you are considering Canada as a destination, it takes time and you need a lot of patience. Some get lucky though and receive their decisions within a short period. But processing time for majority of applicants is 4 -6 months or more In my opinion, I'd advise you apply for May 2022 admission or you try UK. Visa processing is quite fast 1 Like |

ray007bu: LONG POST ALERT
LANDING GISTT
Omo, I’ve been inactive here for like a week and I just want to say congratulations to everyone that has gotten PPR and also to those that got delyed, please keep pushing, IT WILL DEFINITELY END IN PRAISE.
Traveled on the 23rd of August with Lufthansa (booked on AirCanada website). Let me just say that I’ll advise those that plan to use AirCanada to use someone already in Canada to help them to book because I made the mistake of booking from Nigeria only for me to receive a mail like a week to my flight that “my payment was not confirmed “ and I should come and make payment in person at any of their service centers (NOTE: AirCanada does not have any service Centre in Nigeria). My aunt was able to help me go to the Toronto Pearson Airport and make payment again and they later refunded my money.
So back to the D-day, i had a connecting flight with Lufthansa to Frankfurt and then from Frankfurt to Toronto which was set for 10:55pm. People are leaving this country ooo, the queue to enter Murtala Mohammed airport was so long and I heard people had even been on the queue for up to 2 hours. Mine didn’t take that long as I got to the airport around 6:30pm and the line had started moving.
Finally entered and had to go and weigh my bag because I knew it was more than the accepted kg (I had 32kg and 17kg). I balanced it sha because I don’t have money for extra luggage and my folks had to take some stuff back home. When it was time to get boarding pass, they asked for passport, flight ticket and scanned my Covid test. They also gave me that yellow card to fill in my details. It’s advisable to wrap your foodstuff (it’s 1k) for protection.
My family couldn’t follow me past this point and this was when the floodgates opened ooo, me that was forming hard girl hard girl (Thank God for face mask lol)
At Customs, they asked for my boarding pass, passport (which they stamped) and then you’ll have to remove your shoes and any gadgets you have in your hand luggage.
My flight to Frankfurt was short sha because I slept most of it. The food was cold so I just had tea.
When I got to Frankfurt, it got interesting. Their method of searching, check-in and boarding was very organized. There was a woman there that her Covid test had expired and they told her she would have to redo it (very expensive at that airport).
The flight to Toronto was much longer and AirCanada’s movie selection is top notch. I didn’t even know when I had watched 3 full movies but then no WiFi (you have to pay for it)
Once we landed ehn, first thing I did was Thank God because no be me do am, I’m still shocked sef. Canada Border services asked for Enrollment letter, Admission letter, proof of funds (gave them my funding letter) and then Covid test and I was given my study permit. I also registered on Switch health for arrival Covid test so I ddnt have to stay on the long queue and was out of there within minutes, they also gave me hometest kit for Day 8 (I’m not fully vaccinated)
Right now, I’m on Day 9 of my quarantine (Hotel accommodation provided by my school for 14 days) and I’ve been trying to eat their food o but sometimes it’s difficult. My aunt brought food for me so I’m still on Naija diet .
Anyone that arrives Toronto and wants to connect, I’m always happy to.
Thanks for this platform, I really gained a lot from here, we will all rejoice! Thank you so much for the update. May Canada favour you 1 Like |

Hi,
As stated, I can only preview an sop for free as a way of giving back to this platform.
every application is different and so are the reasons and circumstances for addressing a refusal. I will not be in any way offering a step by step detailed explanation or guide on each of the reasons. is your application exactly the same as his? do you have the same background? family ties, work experience. It is not advisable to copy and paste from anyone's application hence the reason why there are professionals you can consult to guide you through a tailor made application to suite your circumstances.
I wish you all the best Be calming down. You've given two gbas gbos today already. Please also note that some perfect applications get denied and some imperfect applications get approved. 18 Likes |

Take down your contact number! The picture uploaded is unclear. Nobody can assist with that. It is very unclear! Stop fidgeting |

patocypher: I received this email from IRCC, I just found that the agent that submitted my application didn’t pay for my visa and biometric fee, even after I was asked to make the payment on 10th of June, I still called and she said she has made the payment, I received this email from IRCC, I’m so short of words, don’t even know what too reply, anyone with this knowledge should please help me, I’m ready too pay You do not have to be down. Although the attachment is not clear, there seems to be no 5 year ban on it. They just require an explanation as to why there was a charge back the previous time. I think you need to quickly act on that by drafting an explanation as to why that happened. You can also provide a clearer attachment and erase your important details such as your UCI and application number. I advise that you delete the former attachment and re attach the document leaving out important details 1 Like |

elenewton1: Application declined 18th August 2021. Timeline: Applicaion submitted April 26th 2021 (PhD with full funding). Also submitted my personal bank statement (not MBS). NSE request May 7. Ignored it and went with normal route. Upfront medical passed june 25th.
Reason for refusal: We are not convinced you will be able to pay the tuition fee. Also, you do no have sufficient finance for your accompanying family member to Canada.
P.S: My full funding covered both tuition and monthly expenses. I also submitted my account statement indicating that I can pay for my miscellaneous expenses. I did not include that anyone is accompanying me. Infact in my IMM form, I specifically selected "no" to this question. Obviously, they did not do a thorough review. I'm awaiting my notes.
Wishing you all the best as you await their response.
OMG! So sorry about this. This is painful. How about re applying immediately since they stated specific reasons 1 Like |

KikkyQ: PPR dropped this morning at 6a.m I have applied for tourist visas two times before. The first one was approved, I visited once and came back to Nigeria. The second one which I submitted since last year April is still pending till now.
I applied for study permit 12th of April, 2021. Ghost update once. No update whatsoever. Eligibility requirement has still not started till now. School resumes September 7 and I was scared I wont meet up, but all glory to God, I am sharing my good news that my PPR dropped this morning. I am 23 years old and going for Alternative Dispute Resolution in Humber College
It has been a rollercoaster but I thank God for his intervention.

EmeeNaka: JR is quite a long process. And the Judges will not grant the Visa. They will, instead, where you win your case, reassign your application to another VO to assess and that will also run it's course. He should save the money and Reapply. JR can cost as much as $6000CAD, which is a semester school fees already You have a point. We all saw Spectro's case I think if she can refire immediately. With all these documents and a strong denial appeal letter. You have to brace up RollyA Brace up and refire! |
